After years practicing, mentoring, growing and shaping Dentistry of the Carolinas, our founder Dr. John Walsh has transitioned to a new phase of life where he is enjoying time with family and is favorite hobbies. We dont call it retirement because for all who know Dr. Walsh understand that word is not in his vocabulary. Dont be surprised to see Dr. Walsh at any of our offices tinkering with a project or fine tuning some dental equipment. He will always be part of the DOC family.
Tooth fairies collect teeth from underneath pillows each night and bring them back to Tooth Fairy Land. They plant these little teeth in a Tooth Garden to sprout new baby teeth. One tooth grew a bit too big to be a baby tooth, this was Flossy. The Fairies didnt know what to do with Flossy until they decided that he would be sent to the human world full time to teach kids how important it was to take care of their teeth.

Flossy loves sweets and candy and cookies and especially Surfer Cooler flavored Capri-Suns. He used to surf the molasses ocean in Tooth Fairy Land, it moved very, very slowly which was perfect for him because hes kind of big and slow himself!

When you first come in go to the window you receive a smile and good morning. Than when the nurse come to get you, a another smile and how you doing . You feel safe and comfortable.

After previously having fillings put on two of my canines back in 2019, I assumed that they would always look like they had fillings and never look like normal teeth again. However, the work they did replacing the fillings was so good, that I can't even tell there was any work done on them. The color and the shape is perfect. I've never been so happy with any dental work before in my life. The office is also friendly and professional. I highly recommend them.

Best Dentist in Charlotte, and the staff for all these years I've been coming here have always made me feel so comfortable and they are very loving and caring. I get such a loving vibe every time. The atmosphere is always calm, clean and they always do such a wonderful job, I wouldn't go anywhere else. My cleaning and fill ins today went very well.

Being new to the city and having bad dental experience in the past, i was a little nervous for my appointment. I can honestly say that this office really exceeded my expectations. The entire staff is so friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, and most of all patient! I look forward to receiving my cleanings and treatments at this office. Also: Parking is easy. Office is clean and spacious. Their playlist is pretty bomb too!

Excellent dentist office! Exceptional parking. Cleanings are quick, yet efficient. I got two fillings for the first time in 18 years and they look like my regular teeth!! Dr. Honeycutt is the best! The entire staff is friendly and helpful!! I love this place! They'll take proper care of you. 10/10 would recommend!!

Every time I come into this office it's a delight! Everyone is so kind. Ashley is usually my hygienist and is so sweet and cleans my teeth very well. Dr. Huneycutt has filled many cavities for me and is very kind, always numbs me up perfectly, and she is quick too! My teeth feel 100% ever since my last visit!
