Dr. Gittess has been delivering the highest quality of care in orthodontics to her community since 1988. She is one of a handful of orthodontist using the Advanced Damon system in South Florida. Dr Gittess earned her dental degree, masters degree and certificates of orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio. She is an esteemed member of the orthodontic community, Dr. Gittess gives lectures to dentists on orthodontics, and she is a published author and a former instructor at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr Gittess is also a member in many leading dental organizations, such as the: American Dental Association American Association of Orthodontists Florida Dental Association Atlantic Coast Dental Society Florida Association of Orthodontists Southern Association of Orthodontists Florida Association of orthodontists
Dr. Mark Turner earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry. His training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery was completed from Bellevue Hospital Center/New York University Medical Center where his specialty certificate was awarded.
In addition to being a key member of the team at Dentistry of South Florida, Dr. Turner is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Turner is excited to continue his passion for restoring form, function, and health in the state where him and his wife call home. His outside interests include swimming, cheering for the Gators, the New York Rangers, the New York Giants, and cooking.
Dr. Mariana Simoca is a graduate of Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. She then went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Simoca practiced in New York City for years before returning to her home in south Florida, where she grew up.
She believes that a healthy and attractive smile can positively impact a persons life. Dr. Simoca helps her patients achieve this by fully dedicating herself to her patients needs and prioritizing their care and comfort.
Dr. Thais Rosales is a graduate of Tufts University School Dental Medicine. Her passion for dentistry started at an early age. She believes that preventive care is important and takes pride in educating patients in a patient-centric and compassionate manner to help them achieve beautiful healthy smiles.
During her time at Tufts, she received a Honors Civicus Recognition award for exceptional community service and civic engagement. She believes in staying active and giving back to her community. She actively volunteers at Caridad Dental Center in Boynton where she provides dental care for the underserved of Palm Beach County.
Dr. Rosales provides exceptional care that focuses on achieving optimal long term oral health. She believes in educating and guiding her patients through every step. She ensures that each treatment plan is customized to fit each of her patients needs and goals.
Dr. Rosales attends numerous continuing education courses to stay up to date with advancing technology and provide the best care for her patients. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Spear Academy.
Dr. Juan Cabanillas DDS is a well-known Harvard trained Prosthodontist with extensive Periodontal and Oral Surgery training, who specializes in the revolutionary All-On-4 concept. After receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery at NYU, he trained extensively at Mount Sinai Medical Center in oral surgery, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. Dr Cabanillas completed his combined Prosthodontics Program at Harvard University/VA Hospital in Boston, MA receiving the first honorable mention in the programs 22-year history!
Dr Cabanillas has unsurpassed experience performing this highly complicated procedure having successfully placed over 5000 implants, 500 full mouth reconstructions and 300 All-On-4 Arches. Known for placing the highest quality dental restorations, he is highly sought after in the affluent South Florida community by executives, celebrities, and patients with the most challenging cases!
He also served as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida and was involved in treating complex multidisciplinary cases in medically compromised patients at the VA Hospital in Palm Beach, FL. Throughout this time, he developed skills to treat the most complex dental cases, while still providing the highest quality of patient care. I LOVE THIS OFFICE! When I first walked into this office, I felt comfortable (no awkward anxious feelings). I met Cathy the office manager, who was so knowledgeable and helpful when I made my first appointment almost 3 years ago. Since then I've met Dr. Berkovich who is an amazing dentist and a perfectionist, she will make sure your smile is absolutely perfect and all the other specialists who work at this location. My husband and my sister-in-law have had all their dental work done here. The staff from front desk to assistants are soo kind, helpful and knowledgeable. They make a dental experience pleasant, they treat you like family. Best office you can find!

I was at Dentistry Of South Florida earlier this evening and it was one of the best dental experiences that I have had so far. The front office and the staff were very welcoming. The ambiance was so relaxing and Cathy played all of my fav music!! Stella was just awesome and she did an amazing job with the prophylaxis. She is very knowledgeable. Dr. Borie did a great job recommending various treatment options. If you are looking for a pain free, stress free and friendly dental set-up, then Dentistry Of South Florida is the place to swing by. The staff at Dentistry of South Florida is truly one of a kind! I've been coming here for 5+plus years and I am beyond satisfied and grateful. Dr. Berkovich does work so exceptional I've regained my confidence to smile again !! The manager Cathy is the absolute best. No matter your treatment plan she is flexible, understanding, fair and a joy to work with. This goes for Claudia, Marlene and the other front desk ladies as well. I definitely recommend this office, they make a dentist visit a pleasure-not an easy task!

I have to admit that the first impression I got with the proximity to the beach and the large & very clean office space inside and out that I would be handed an obnoxious treatment plan. First I received very good customer service in person and over the phone. Filling out the forms online prior to the initial visit was a breeze. The Saturday hours make scheduling very flexible. My first appointment was positive with each person I came across. Positive team attitude, good personable skills and the doctor wasn't seeking to sell me a new mouth. The Dr offered options for my needs and sounds like the specialists travel to this office. Treatment plan was a pleasant surprise. I can highly recommend this office for dental needs!

I cannot say enough great words about these awesome girls!! I literally had to talk myself into walking in the door for my first appointment. But the staff was so friendly. That helped calm my nerves before I sat in the chair. Dr. Smoka knew I had a fear and always made me feel comfortable. I'm almost at the end of my treatment plan and I think I'm going to miss these girls! This was definitely the dentist office for me! From cleanings, root canals and crowns I had no pain during and after the procedures.

Very thorough in their evaluation and very caring about me as the patient. One of those rare instances when you feel like going to a dentist is a celebration rather than a drag. Let me begin by saying I have a fear of dentists ever since I was a young person, after a horrible experience with my childhood dentist. I needed a chipped filling in my front tooth fixed before a event. I also had a broken impacted tooth from a biking accident last year. I got a appointment within a couple days. Had my x rays done and was given a treatment plan. The treatment plan included extracting the broken tooth. Dr. Berkovich was the first dentist to offer to extract the tooth in house. All of the other dentist I consulted with, wanted to send me out. Nobody wanted to do the dirty work of extraction. Either not enough $$ in it for them, unqualified or scared. Dr.B did a great, very natural looking job filling my front teeth. It really does look like nothing ever happened. She extracted a infected broken up tooth with bone graph and collagen and I got a cleaning in 3 hours! All as a new patient. With so many posh dental practitioners that only want to do high dollar dental procedures, Dr. B was a breath of fresh air with her cost effective get it done approach. The staff was friendly and competent. My cleaning was wonderful as well. Best trip I have had to the dentist in quite sometime. Dr.B and her staff earned my business. Okay so here is the reason I write this here:I DO NOT LIKE TO DO IT. I have been a client there 2 plus years and i am Russian and I have a good paying job so kindly money isn't the issue BUT.. That office is very difficult to understand as far as i am concerned with the way how specifically dr. Angela is giving you an idea what you need or not. As i said i am a pilot and i do know one or two things. depending on how she would come take a MINIMUM TIME to evaluate the situation for your concern and then throw "give him discount" to sound like a good one for me, she lacks the ability to address completely the issue and explain options and ways to go. Had 3 times including this recent to confirm that its true. #1. had a good will to reshape my front tooth maybe a millimeter to make more esthetic and fine look to put my fixed retainers on... She told me that she doesn't recommend it and it will be better to have an Ortho operation of 4000$ approx very much disappointment. #2. Had to do an implant on tooth #3 had consultation with her again she said i need sinus lifting which is pretty not the best thing to do when you're working with cabin pressure.. Had to go to a different doctor clinic for 2nd opinion and definitely recommended not only not to do that also not needed. Came back to consult with the oral surgeon and he confirmed i don't need! Thanks for his honesty Dr torner. Completed the work with him. #3. Had a weird feel on my tooth #14 feel like a line of a cracked or line on the back of the tooth came to see dr Angelika and she literally gave me 4 minutes of her time and immediately told me i need a crown and a possible root canal. I finally decided to go to a different dentist and found out i don't need a crown instead a filing change and also the last wisdom on the bottom left she was telling me i need to take it out, where others surly said only a little filling is required. The problem is that she pushed hard few times and i am literally not willing to give another chance whatsoever. Treat what you really need not all around for extra $ I am super aggravated and frustrated with her approach. HOPE IT WILL HELP.
