Continuing education is an integral aspect of being able to provide the top-quality care my patients deserve. I update my training through courses and seminars throughout the year and am an active member in numerous professional organizations that provide many learning experiences, such as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Florida Dental Society of Anesthesia.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE I am originally from Annapolis, MD, and have lived in Sarasota since 1985. I have a beautiful wife who makes my life complete, a 27-year-old married daughter and a 23-year-old son, as well as two dogs, Violet and Razor. When Im not in the office or spending time with my children, I enjoy playing tennis, boating, fishing, and just relaxing with fine wine and great food.

As an integral part of the Sarasota community, it only makes sense to help the area that does so much for me. I always volunteer time and services to various schools and churches and I am on my sons school board of trustees.

Dental technology is continually advancing, and I challenge myself to always provide my family of patients with the most comfortable and up-to-date care. To stay current with the newest and best in dental technology, I take more than 100 hours of continuing education each year in dental implants, IV sedation, advanced cosmetic techniques, and Invisalign orthodontics through the Medical College of Georgia. In addition, I am an active member of the International Congress of Implantology and the American Dental Association.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE I am originally from Livonia, MI, and have lived in Sarasota since 2003. I have two young sons, Zander age 12 and Griffin age11, and a golden doodle named Jake. I love boating with my sons, playing golf and tennis, and exploring new restaurants in my free time. I am also active in our community, starting office programs that challenge us to help the people in our area in any way we can.

As a dental hygienist, I provide oral hygiene services as well as preventive and therapeutic care. I started working at Dentistry of Sarasota in 2003 but began my dental career in 1978. This has been, by far, the best office Ive ever worked at. I love working with our doctors and staff; they are all like family to me. I enjoy most the difference I am able to make in patients lives and the relationships Ive created with them.

I joined the team at Dentistry of Sarasota in 1998 and brought with me 20 years of experience working in this field. I enjoy developing relationships with my patients. Through these long standing relationships, my patients trust that I have their best interest at heart and treat them as I would treat my family. I completely respect both doctors as great men and great dentists. Their skills are top notch, and they genuinely care about their patients and staff. They constantly strive to keep the office running smoothly and provide the best quality dentistry available.

I joined the Dentistry of Sarasota team in 2012 and I enjoy assisting patients in achieving optimal oral health through education about proper maintenance procedures while providing the highest standard of care. My favorite part of my job is building relationships with the patients. I enjoy being involved in not only the dental health of our patients but involved in their overall health too. Our doctors have an extensive knowledge base which they continuously improve upon and they have a sincere passion for dentistry. Outside of the office I love spending time with my wonderful husband, our beautiful daughter and handsome son. Aside from being new parents we also have a love of scuba diving.

I became part of the Dentistry of Sarasota team in 2002 and worked here until 2011, when I left to continue my education in dental hygiene. Its been a great joy to return to the practice in 2014, seeing familiar faces and meeting new patients. I enjoy passing my knowledge of oral hygiene on to our patients, and delivering the optimum level of care. I love preparing each patient with the skills and education needed to keep their mouth healthy, which helps keep their overall health in excellent shape, between their visits.

It is my responsibility to do whatever it takes to make our practice successful and give quality care to our patients. I have worked here for over 20 years and have enjoyed the close relationships I have created with our patients and the rest of our staff. It is my goal to be a leader and role model in everything that I do. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my four wonderful sons and the rest of my family.

I assist our dentists with all procedures and patient care. I treat each patient with TLC and make their visit positive and as comfortable as possible. I enjoy working with my hands in the creative part of dentistry when we fabricate appliances and do lab projects. Our doctors are kind, patient, and a lot of fun to work with and be around. They practice dentistry with excellence as their top priority. I am proud to be their assistant.

For more than 40 years, I have enjoyed working in the dental field, but the past 10 years working for Dentistry of Sarasota have been the best. I am proud to work here assisting the doctors with all aspects of patient care and making sure our patients are comfortable. Each patient I meet is a unique individual, and I enjoy getting to hear about their lives outside the office. People that come here know our doctors are the best of the best.

I assist our doctors with patient procedures and provide education to our patients about the various services we can provide them. I have 20 years of experience in the dental field and joined this team in 2010. Since then, I have enjoyed meeting our family of patients and working with the wonderful people in this office.

I am passionate about dental care and helping people feel and look their best. After more than 20 years in the field, I joined Dentistry of Sarasota in 2013, and I love working in an environment where the focus is always on delivering painless, gentle dental treatment that is patient-focused. During the workday, I provide assistance to our doctors during procedures and offer patient care, as well. Away from work, I enjoy time with my family and many outdoor activities.

I am responsible for organizing the financial aspects of our patients treatment which includes being in contact with insurance companies regarding coverage and benefits. I started working here in 2003 and have enjoyed the opportunity to work with such a great group of people.

It is my goal to share the wonderful things our office does with the rest of the community, as well as helping to make our practice run as smoothly as possible.
