Dr. Joseph received his Bachelors degree in Integrative Biology from #1 ranked public university UC Berkeley, and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from nationally renowned University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he was recognized for his ability to quickly build patient trust. It was his principled and comfortable approach to dentistry that made patients feel confident and at ease to be treated under Dr. Joseph's care.

Dr. Joseph is native to the bay area and enjoys hiking, swimming, tennis, golf, volleyball, and great food. He and his wife have recently welcomed their first child and are blessed to watch her blossom.

I have been going to Dr. Joseph after Dr. Petrini sold the practice. I initially started going this location as far back as the 80's. Even though I travel from Antioch, I will continue to travel all the way into the city even though I have to get up very early as I like my appt at 7:30 AM. I know many times there is the commute traffic (I will only drive, my choice) but I will deal with it because everyone is so friendly and very professional! Everyone is awesome. I tried locating a dentist close to my home, but it was not worth it. I recommend Dentistry of San Francisco 100% to anyone looking for a new dentist or thinking about looking for a new dentist. I've had many, many issues with my bite and grinding my teeth over the years. Dr. Joseph listens so carefully and completely and has developed a wonderful program of Botox in my jaw muscles and a bite guard. I have recommended him to others, who have also enjoyed great results.

I can't say enough good things about this dental office! They are patient and the dental hygienist is so kind that I felt at ease, even though I typically have very high anxiety at dental appointments. Everything was explained to me very clearly which I also appreciate!

We've been with our previous dental office more than 15 years and recently we relocate to SF and decide to follow our dentist long term friend's suggestion to try DSF and it's like "wow". I wish I know DSF earlier. My hygienist is Katrina and my husband's Hygienist is Nubia. So far we've been doing a regular cleaning and a deep cleaning and filling. I can't believe I watched a Netflix movie during deep cleaning, and Katrina is so professional and gentle I ended up enjoy my movie and deep cleaning experience very much. Both me and my husband plus our dentist friend all love Dr. Joseph very much, he's very professional. humble. skillful and caring. And I love get all my questions answered by text message with Fabian, at first I thought I am talking to an auto generated application because it's so fast when some link is not functional or questions about my insurance. Fabian solve my problem with text right a way. Don't want to keep this secret to myself. I think we found the best dental office by following our dentist friend to the dental office she use.

Dr. Joseph made my smile SO beautiful with Invisalign!! He regularly checked in on me, and always made time for me if I needed to come in for any concerns. I am SO happy with it and he made the experience so easy/seamless. Dr. Joseph and his crew are so awesome - Fabian, Lynn, everyone at the office is so kind and helpful. Travel nurse, limited time, went in for a consult on whether to get Invisalign or veneers on my front teeth since shifting from grinding over a few years causing a gap next to my front teeth. I wanted to know what was quickest vs best plan, as well as weighing in the cost of the options. The staff was very kind and patient in doing my scans and X-rays; and the doctor was very thorough and honest in his treatment options. I chose the 4 veneer option. Knowing I was leaving the state in 2 weeks, it would be the most efficient way to fix the issue and long term wear a retainer for prevention. They got started the same day, and the doctor free handed my temporaries to fill my gap, which is a tribute to his artistic capabilities, knowing the process was basically on steroids... or fast track... 2 weeks later got right back In- temporaries off- and the permanent veneers are so beautiful! They look so incredibly amazing! I couldn't be happier! I would recommend his practice to anyone! A huge Thank you to Dr Joseph and his staff for making me feel normal again, and giving me back my ability to smile

Wonderful caring staff, really expert at what they do, and always on the cutting edge of technology to make their patients' experiences more comfortable, while providing the highest quality of service. Their dental hygienists have really helped me improve my dental home care! They are a bit pricier than others so I pay more after my insurance reimbursement, but it's worth it.

I'd already thought Dr. Joseph was an excellent dentist, that my dental hygienist, Nubia, was superlative, and that office manager Fabian set a warm and inviting tone. But now in the age of coronavirus, I'm even more impressed. The protocols that the office has set in place to ensure the safety of staff and patients reassured me greatly and I felt completely safe and at ease while in the office for my dental work yesterday. It's a lot harder to find a good dentist than people think. Dr. Joseph , not to mention his wonderful, caring staff, work together to make dental visits a pleasant experience, as funny as that sounds. They've been amazing during Covid as well, with the best protocols I've seen anywhere!
