Dr. Sage Pollack is the owner of Dentistry of Colorado. She focuses on patient comfort and uses a variety of techniques to keep her patients relaxed and pain-free throughout the dental treatment. Her mission is to provide conservative, comprehensive treatment to improve and maintain her patients oral health.
Dr. Pollack received her degree in dentistry from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. She concentrated her studies and has extensive clinical experience in several key dental specialties: Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Full Mouth Reconstruction & TMJ Therapy.
She has taken extensive continuing education courses (approximately 300 to 400 credit hours yearly) to stay on top of the latest developments and to fine-tune her ability to serve her patients at the highest level.
As an Associate Fellow Implantologist and accredited by the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Dr. Pollack has extensive experience in restorative and surgical implant dentistry. She prides herself on performing minimally invasive implant treatments, which improve healing time, decrease discomfort, and minimize risk for the patients.
Sage believes that the best dentistry is the type that educates, informs, and prevents in order to maintain teeth and their natural tooth structure for as long as possible. Her treatment model is one of comprehensive dentistry, ensuring that areas of concern are caught and treated before they become big issues.
Dentistry of Colorado is proud to welcome Dr. Stephanie Flaksman to their growing team! Stephanie obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the LECOM (Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine) School of Medicine in Bradenton, FL.
Dr. Stephanie comes from a family of dentists including her mother, grandmother and brother. To provide the best care for her patients, she is continuously educated in the newest and most current technologies in the dental industry. She believes that learning is life-long and assures that she can provide the highest level of care. Spreading knowledge and the importance of oral health is something she enjoys doing. Most people do not know how oral care impacts the entire body. She loves getting to know each patient and learning their stories, dental and personal! There is nothing better than helping people achieve confidence through their smiles. It is her goal to give patients more than they expect, and to exceed their expectations at each visit.
When Dr. Stephanie is not improving the lives of her patients, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, exploring the great outdoors and traveling to new destinations. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Stephanie. We are happy to have her as a part of our family!
Dr. Kaploe is a graduate of The University of Michigan Ann Arbor where she received a Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, & Cognitive Sciences. Not wanting to leave home, she stayed in Ann Arbor to earn a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, graduated as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and became President of the Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. Eager to further her education, Dr. Kaploe moved to Colorado to complete a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Medical Center. During her year working at the hospital she gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of dentistry and met her husband, Ryan.
Dr. Kaploe actively pursues opportunities to gain all the most recent knowledge in dentistry as a participating member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Metro Denver Dental Society. Dr. Kaploe loves forming meaningful relationships with her patients and helping them achieve their oral health related goals. Outside the office, Dr. Kaploe can be found watching college football and NHL hockey, hiking, running, reading, and enjoying Colorado.

I went into this office because they advertised themselves as being a temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) clinic. Upon examination, I'm told they are not a TMJ clinic but recommend Invisalign. I ask if I can see some reading materials and the dentist leaves and another assistant come over with a $5,650 invoice. I say no thanks and leave to get a second opinion. Another dentist tells me Invisalign will do nothing for my TMJ because my jaws are too misaligned and I need braces. Anyway, four months later I get a bill (with a late fee) for the consultation. This is despite me having primary healthcare insurance and dental supplemental insurance and them being in network for both. I tell the dental clinic that no claims were ever filed. They waive the late fee, then send me another bill a month later without filing a claim. I request to talk to their claims specialist and am told "He'll call me back at his convenience." That was over a week ago (end of August). Update 10/6/2022: Despite a response from the owner, this issue is still unresolved and I have called two more times. We'll see if their claims specialist ever calls back... it's been a month now. Update 11/1/2022: Still no resolution to the issue. I was assured someone would call me with an update two weeks ago and reminded them with another call last week. Please don't go here if you value your time.

Juanita, Dr. Kaploe and Kelly were wonderful. The appointment ended up being a long one. Kelly was determined to get my teeth as smooth as possible and she did!

I went in for my regular cleaning. It was nice that I got right in and didn't have to wait. The hygienist was kind and funny and did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. The office staff was friendly, it was an overall positive experience.

When I called to make my first appointment, I was able to get in within a few days without issue. My appointment was scheduled for an afternoon and the receptionist took my insurance information. A day before my appointment they called me asking for my insurance information again. That was strange to me, but we settled on me coming in 15 minutes early the day of my appointment so they could get my information in-person. Then, they called me about two hours before my appointment and told me I could come in but they won't have a doctor to perform my oral examination. The receptionist (Vida?) said that they could take my x-rays but couldn't perform a cleaning until they were sure I had a "healthy mouth" which only a doctor can determine via oral examination examination. This is the first time I've ever had a dentist suggest this approach. I don't have any issues with my teeth or gums or anything and have always just gone in for x-rays and a cleaning on my first visit to a new dentist. I asked the receptionist what happened to the doctor and wanted to know if they called out sick or something. She said no, our dentists don't work afternoons. I then asked why I was scheduled for an afternoon visit if they knew that I would need to come back a second time just for an exam and cleaning and she said that she didn't know who scheduled me or why I was scheduled this way. I'm pretty sure she was the one who scheduled me in the first place.. Honestly, it felt like they just wanted to get me in the door twice so they could bill my insurance twice or something. Not sure. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and will never visit this location.

This was my first visit to this dental office. The front receptionist did not ask my name or birthdate to check me in. She then said I owed $913. I had to explain that I was a new patient so I did not owe anything. She was not wearing a mask. I also noticed that the bathroom was not working. The first impression was bad. However the dentist and the dental hygienist saved the day. They were thorough and gave me good service. A good look at their administrative staff is warranted here.

Everyone from the receptionist, Brandy to the hygienist Kelly were super and thorough! They scheduled plenty of time for my cleaning and exam. I love the Doctors too! They have an in house insurance option which is great for me. They are a great business!

I haven't really enjoyed a dentist's office since I was a kid. This place was great, as the team dynamic is what sold me the most! Everyone chatted pleasantly to each other and seemed to be in wonderful moods. The dentist was never nasty to the assistants or secretaries, and that's truly what I love most! They were open about the procedures going to happen, as well as the prices, and plans. Gentle hands, my mouth didn't hurt at all after my cleaning and filling. Going back next week for a crown. This place is A++

I'm surprised to see all the rave reviews about this dentist office! My experience was less than par. They started off with a dental cleaning that knocked out a filling that they never replaced. I asked if they would straighten out the line from top to bottom of my smile but they only touched the surface. They then prepared to fit caps in my mouth but I sat while at least 4 dental assistance giggled and shared stories behind a partition listening to loud country music for over an hour. On my second visit, while I waited again, I looking at my email, I received one from then stating that they would no longer take my insurance so I needed to find someone else as a dentist - this after they had given me a report sighting extensive dentistry I would need! I don't know what kind of parlor they're running but it sure didn't seem like serious dent rusty to me. Since then I found that much of the work they said I needed didn't need to be done! If you're seen here you might want to get a second opinion before you get anything done by this party house!
