Dr. Sung-Oh Kim is the founder of Dentistry for Smiles. Dr. Kim is a leading dental implant, cosmetic and restorative dentist with the specialty of Prosthodontics. Although she focuses on Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, Full Mouth Reconstruction, she still offers an outstanding comprehensive dental care.
Dr. Kim graduated from University of Alabama at Birmingham, School of Dentistry and Medicine, one of the finest medical schools in the world. She has also received her PhD in Cell Biology with outstanding research publications focusing cell signaling and growth factors from University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Following graduation, Dr. Kim decided to specialize in Prosthodontics, one of the most complicated areas of dentistry. She completed a three-year specialty program in Prosthodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she specialized in implant dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, and served as a clinical instructor. During her many years as a dental educator, practitioner and researcher in the southeast area, Dr. Kim has established a highly distinguished reputation. Dr. Kim has attracted a great number of satisfied patients, including celebrities and dentists!

Love this dentist she makes you feel comfortable and the staff is nice. Dr does all the work whether it is clean or filling or implant. She has a soft but firm touch.

What an amazing group of people! Dr.Kim is very caring and very approachable. My family and I have been going to her office for cleaning for over a year now, and every visit we leave her office happier as ever. My appointment was at 9:00am. I went in at 9:01. I was called inside for the cleaning at 9:02. I didn't even have to wait a full minute for them to call me in for the cleaning! You would never be able to find a faster place with amazing staff to help you through a Dentist appointment. Dr.Kim and all the staff at Dentistry for Smiles, Thank you so much for a splendid visit each time!

AMAZING office! Dr. Kim is so talented and educated on everything. She is extremely thorough and detailed with all of her patients. I appreciate how empathetic she is and puts 100% effort into every single one of her patients. Whereas, other offices I would be rushed in and rushed out without knowing what is really going on. I would highly recommend only trusting her for your dental needs from now on!

I have been coming to Dr.Kim's office for about 2 years now and I cannot express enough how amazing she is. She truly cares about you, your wants, and your needs. She is also very thorough with her work. Her staff are so welcoming as well. There's always someone at the front to greet you. They're always smiling and making small conversation so that you won't be nervous before your appointment. The office is so clean and organized. It is a smaller office, but that just means more attention to each and every patient, which is very important. I would definitely recommend Dr.Kim and her office. You will not regret it.

I can't ask for more from Dr. Kim. I have one implant done by Dr. Kim two years ago. I have no problem whatsoever so far and I am very happy with it. I lived three hours away from her dental clinic but it is all well worth to drive three hours to get nice treatments. She is very caring and dedicated since she doesn't mind seeing patients even on Saturdays. I am so lucky to be her patient and I am willing to recommend her to any of my friends. GOD BLESS YOU DR. I have been going to Dr Kim for all of my dental needs for about a decade. She is very knowledgeable, super friendly and cares. Same goes for all her office staff. Never had a complaint to date She did my crown, multiple fillings. She did a fantastic job on a family member's dental implant on both the work and pricing. Her office is one of the few places open on a Saturday (usually once a month) which goes a long way for folks with a busy weekday schedule. If you are trying to find one the best dentist in Atlanta area, she's it. Highly recommended.
