It is with great pride that your children truly enjoy their time with us and think of the dentists office as an enjoyable and welcoming place to be. Its because we have a special way with kids. Dentistry for Kids pediatric-focused doctors and team love children and are specially trained to put them at ease. We teach your children the proper way to take care of their teeth and just as important, they learn that going to the dentist can be fun.
Dentistry for Kids mission is to provide children with the highest quality of dental care in a friendly, caring and accessible environment. All care must be based on sound, scientific and ethical principles. Your childs emotional and physical well-being is our number one concern. At Dentistry for Kids, we focus on preventative dentistry and dental maintenance for children, young adults, and children with special needs. We strive to make the experience fun as well as safe and rewarding.
I grew up just outside San Diego, CA, and lived there until going to college at Brigham Young University. After college I attended dental school at Ohio State University and discovered that working with the kids was exciting; it brought me a lot of joy and satisfaction. Following dental school, I moved to Arizona and completed a two-year specialty program in pediatric dentistry.
Along the way, my wife, Brooke, and I grew a family. We now have five children and enjoy raising them here in Reno, where Brooke grew up herself. In our free time, youll probably find us doing yard work, hiking a trail, swimming at Tahoe, or skiing at Mt. Rose. And when I have nothing else to do, I love to draw, paint, garden, and bike.
As part of my continuing education, I am a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, and the Northern Nevada Dental Society. Additionally, I recently became a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. I also attend national and local classes to stay atop the ever changing field of dentistry.
My goal is to make coming to the dentist fun. I hope that by providing a great experience and teaching kids how to successfully take care of their teeth, we can set them up with lives filled with healthy teeth and happy dental visits.

My kids enjoy going to the dentist because of the friendly staff, fun environment, games and prizes they earn. Dr. Wilde is down to earth and fun and truly magical with children.

The staff so far has all been great. Ben has been the assistant with my kids a few times now and he always makes them feel comfortable and talks to them about the things they are into to where they feel like they're visiting a friend instead of going to the dentist. Dr Wilde is informative and communicative, does great work in a timely manner and has a gentle presence with the kids that puts us all at ease. Thankful for this office!

We were in and out within 40 minutes for x-rays, cleanings and fluoride treatment with two kids. The staff, including Dr. Wilde, is very friendly and professional.

Dr. Wilde and the entire team at Dentistry for Kids are simply amazing! From the moment you walk through the door to the time you're checking out, everyone is so helpful and friendly--not to mention exceptionally adept at what they do. We couldn't see ourselves going anywhere else.

Amazing! They make it fun since the kids have been born! Our 18 year old still wants to go! Our 3 have been going since 2! So professional, clean, but most of all so loving on each child! They encourage, support, and most of all teach the kids about how to maintain great dental hygiene with enthusiasm.

Kind and caring staff. They were so patient with my two-year-old who was very nervous and had a terrible experience at our previous dentist. They made her feel comfortable. She even had so much fun because of the toys and stickers. I am so relieved and thankful that she had a positive experience and is excited to go back again.

My 14yr old daughter has been going to Dentistry for Kids since she was just 11 months old. It has always been such a pleasant experience. From the staff, the waiting room, to the docs, all top notch.
