The staff is fantastic, they explain everything to the parents and to the child being worked on. The take their time and make you feel heard. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone who wants a good experience and who might be afraid of the dentist.

The staff was considerate, friendly, and most of all timely! And the doctor was amazing! She was intelligent, focused, genuinely caring about my granddaughter's well-being, and above all she performed the work in excellence and quickly.

Where do I begin...? My guys have been coming here for (at least) the last 8 years and when I say to people, my kids are weird because they actually like going to the dentist, its because of these guys here. At least to me, its a family thing, and my family feels our dentist office is invested in us.

Treatment with braces isnt just about straight teeth and a gorgeous smile. Its about maximizing the alignment of your teeth and jaw to improve your ability to bite, chew and speak. That perfect smile is a bonus a benefit that leads to improved self-esteem and self confidence.

Getting started with braces. To start orthodontic treatment, your orthodontist will first take x-rays and evaluate if youre a good candidate. Ideal candidates have healthy teeth and gums, but want to fix overbites, underbites, cross bites, spacing issues, overcrowding, a gummy smile or protruding upper front teeth.

How your teeth move. Braces work by applying pressure to teeth, pushing or pulling them into a better position. Your teeth actually move in their sockets. The process is called bone remodeling. The bone on one side of your teeth breaks down in the sockets, but builds up on the other side of the sockets. All of this is done using a gentle amount of pressure. You will visit your orthodontist regularly to make sure your teeth are moving properly.

Getting braces off. When your teeth have reached the desired results, your orthodontist will remove your braces, one bracket at a time. He or she will also remove any glue residue. Your orthodontist will then set you up with a retainer to help stabilize the new position of your teeth. Without a retainer, your teeth may move back to their original positions.

Exploring options. Traditional metal brackets arent for everybody. Other options include ceramic braces, lingual braces and Invisalign or clear aligners. Your certified orthodontist specialist will recommend the treatment thats best for you.

Very careful, and informative. Very concerned with the proper way to brush, and floss your teeth. I will always recommend them to anybody for their children's dental hygiene.

I'm giving two stars because I expect a dr office to communicate if they are running behind and to be acknowledgeable about what's going on. I also am aware that "you get what you pay for" when you are going to a Medicaid accepting facility. The service provided by the dental assist was amazing. The dentist took all of 2min to look at my sons teeth to tell me that he had no cavities. Also fine. My problem- his appointment was for 8:30am. He wasn't seen until 9:15am - I understand falling behind, but communicate that. I don't think it's fair to working parents trying to juggle everything in life to have to sit and wait in a crowded waiting area to be seen 45min later than the appointment time. God forbid we show up late or cancel less than 24hrs. We're charged. I think it should just be curtesy that if your appointment falls behind that the front desk staff let you know. I also was put off by some of the patient's parents behaviors. Yelling and screaming at their children, cursing in front of other kids. And no staff said " ma'am please be quiet, we ask that you not curse" whatever. Just didn't feel like a good space.

My son have a great experience as a first time patient. He has had bad experiences with Dentist but everyone was super supportive and talked him through an extraction and cleaning. Facility was clean and sanitize. Saw several staff members constantly sanitizing hands and spaces. *Only complaint is front desk staff is not very interactive. I stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone spoke and when the young lady did I had to say hello in order for her to look up and engage.

I came at 8:07am and was seen immediately after paperwork which was about 5 minutes of wait time. Not only were they fast they were nice throughout the facility. The dentist and the main dentist didn't judge my family and my little one's teeth. They explained to me what would happen at his next visit. My little one is very adamant about not being bothered upon waking up but he didn't even shed a tear and was actually very playful during his visit. The atmosphere is also nice and inviting. Not to over stimulating for children and still adult like as well.

Courtney was so patient and kind to my 3 y/o son. She made his first visit sooo easy. He loves going to the dentist now. I've been going to the Smyrna location for years and the office is always clean and all of the staff is nice.

I really struggle to believe this location is rated so high. Our experience is consistently horrible which is sad as we transferred from another location when we moved and they were amazing. We will not go back here. 1) Wait times - on average we arrive and sit in the waiting room for 45-1hr after our appointment time. The kids are then taken back and we dont see them for another hour plus (for a simple cleaning). 2). We've actually only talked to a dr 1 time in 2+ years. And that was worthless as I could not understand anything she was saying. 3). Appointments - they never ask what is convenient and just randomly assign appointments - it's then up to you to spend forever on hold calling to change it to something that works. What a waste of time for both sides.
