I enjoy seeing our patients grow as they become part of our DFC family. When they are young, I love to see their excitement when they've had a great visit with no cavities. Later on, we hear updates on high school life and activities, and the excitement that goes along with graduating. Knowing that we have been a part of helping them maintain those beautiful smiles warms my heart.
My favorite part about working at DFC? Its hard to choose between our amazing team and the children, so I choose both! I absolutely love the innocent questions the children have about their teeth. They are so proud when they begin to understand and have a great check-up. Its so gratifying.
I enjoy working at Dentistry for Children because I truly love working with kids! They make every day exciting! I love to see how happy they get when I make them a balloon animal at the end of their visit.
One thing I love about working at DFC is the kids, for sure! Watching them come in a little nervous, but leave happy with smiles on their face is the best. I listen to all of the interactions and stories they have with the assistants and doctors and it puts a smile on my face! My coworkers are so kind and caring, and love to have fun. Not only with our patients and their families, but with each other as well. Makes for a great place to work!
Dr. Dennis earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry and his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his Hospital Residency at Hurley Medical Center and Mott Childrens Health Center in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Dennis is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served as the consultant to the surgeon general in both the Pacific command and European command.
Dr. Dennis is a Diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and was elected to The International College of Dentists. He is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dennis was born in New York City and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In his spare time he is an active volunteer and has participated in many dental mission trips in the US and different countries such as Belize, Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico. He also enjoys traveling with his family, baseball, basketball, cycling, arts and music.
Dr. Mitch comes from a large family of dedicated and driven dental professionals. With a grandfather, two uncles, several cousins and a sister all practicing in the field of dentistry, you might even say dentistry is in his blood. Dr. Mitch earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He spent two years at Childrens Hospital Omaha where he received extensive training treating patients under general anesthesia as well as in traditional clinical settings.
When Dr. Mitch isnt practicing dentistry hes likely enjoying time with his wife and two young boys. Biking, hiking, golfing, spending time on the water, and winter skiing are some of his favorite activities.
Dr. Mitchell Loeb received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating with special distinction in prosthodontics and restorative clinical sciences. After receiving his DDS from UMKC, Dr. Loeb traveled to Minneapolis and completed a three-year specialty residency in Prosthodontics, while also defending his Master of Science from the University of Minnesota. Following completion of his Prosthodontic training, Dr. Loeb pursued his passion of serving children and completed a second specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Loeb loves to ski, travel, hike, run, golf, and the occasional espresso. His favorite book is When Breath Becomes Air, favorite childhood movie is Toy Story, favorite Harry Potter is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, favorite vacation spots have been Vienna and Sun Valley, Idaho, and his favorite superhero is Iron Man.

The staff was so friendly! The lady at the front desk greeted us and chatted with us, the dental assistant had my nervous son smiling a chatting within minutes, and the dentist made everything fun and a breeze. I highly recommend this place.

Love this place! My daughter is always comfortable and feels welcomed when she comes in. Great staff that has wonderful skills with kids. They listen to parent and child concerns and help with any situation, by explaining things very well to both. Highly recommended!

My daughter 3 at the time was in need of crowns on her front teeth. We received a referral to Dentistry for Children. Dr. Dennis was great with her and did an excellent job explaining the process as she was under general anesthesia. He really takes his time to make sure its done right and you understand everything. He was also able to spot some issues with my son that his previous dentist had not even mentioned and gives the appropriate treatment plan. All my kids just love going to Dentistry for Children. Everything from Dr, Dennis, the staff, fun interactive waiting room & lets not forget the balloon animals and goodie bags!

We loved our experience at Dentistry for Children. Brought my 4 year old in for some work, and Dr. Dennis was super. He had an excellent bedside manner, as did his assistant. Dr. Dennis is knowledgeable and takes time to talk you through what's happening. Most importantly, my 4 year old had a good experience!
