Dr. Romero earned his dental education at Escuela Colombiana de Medicina in Bogot, Colombia. He received his dental degree (DDS) in 1993 and completed his Pediatric Dentistry specialty in 1997. In 2002 he obtained his dental license to practice dentistry in the United States after successfully completing the American Dental Board Examinations and California State Dental Board Exam. With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Romero is also certified to administer oral conscious sedation and nitrous oxide.
Dr. Romero loves children and cares for his patients as if they are his own. He will do only what is best for your child. His gentle and quiet demeanor is soothing to each patient. He emphasizes prevention while providing his patients individualized care and maximized comfort, to ensure every child can have a healthy smile that will last a lifetime. Dr. Lezama graduated from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras and earned her dental degree (DDS) in 1995. She completed the American Dental Board requirements and exams with excellence in 2003. Ever since she realized dentistry was her calling, she has devoted her life to her career and finds great satisfaction in making her patients feel at ease and relaxed in the dental chair while providing them with high quality professional dental care.
She has participated in various Dental Research projects at Loma Linda University, Research Department and has enjoyed being a part of several dental outreaches and volunteer programs like MEND in the San Fernando Valley. Dr. Lezama regularly completes continuing education courses to enhance her knowledge. She has completed The Comprehensive and Restorative Residency Program and The Advanced Fixed Prosthodontics Residency at Esthetics Professionals, a highly recognized Dental Education Center in Tarzana , CA that provides quality dental continuing education
Dr. Valenzuela is pleased to offer comprehensive evaluation and treatment planning. She received her dental degree in 1989 and completed her masters degree in orthodontics in 1995 at Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Valenzuela completed the American Dental Board Exams distinctively and was licensed to practice in California in 2002. Orthodontics is not only her profession but also her passion. She is continuously furthering her knowledge in dental-facial orthopedics, TMJ treatments, lingual braces, TADs and Invisalign.
Regan, our Office Manager, has been in the dental field for 13 years managing both front and back office. This has provided her with ample knowledge to handle any dental concern you may have. She is helpful and bright. She will welcome you with a friendly smile and introduce you to our office. Regan is married with two children. Away from the office, she loves outdoor activities: biking, snowboarding, trips with family, exploring new places to visit and dine out.
Rita is a highly qualified Registered Dental Assistant who obtained her dental education at San Carlos University of Guatemala. Efficiency, integrity and kindness are part of her qualities. Patients and staff enjoy relating and working with her.Rita is married with two daughters. In her spare time, she likes cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
Sean is our friendly member of the front office. He has been in the people business for a long time, so feel confident that he assures your visit is running smoothly, and that you leave our office satisfied. He obtained his education at Pasadena City College with a major in music. In Seans spare time he loves listening to and discovering new music, taking great walks and working out, and spending time with friends and family.
Maura obtained her dental education at R.O.P Dental School. She is a great asset to our dental team. Aside from being an excellent dental assistant, she is kind, loving, and makes your visit to the dentist a smooth experience with her pleasant personality and sweet manners.She is married and has two children. When shes away from the office, she enjoys trying new recipes, going on hikes and spending time with family.

My daughter recently turned two and has never been to a dentist. We are also from out of town visiting grandparents for the next four months (finish up virtual school with family). My son threw a toy (accidentally) directly into her face and knocked her tooth loose and a bit out of the socket, and cutting her lip in the process. Dr. Romero and his staff got us in within an hour of the accident. They did not care that she wasn't an existing patient (we called multiple places that did). They cared about helping a little girl with an injured mouth/tooth. Dr. Romero was very kind and gentle with her; letting her warm up to him. He had her sit on my lap and lay back on a pad on his lap, allowing her to feel connected to me. This is a move that my oldest daughter didn't have when she chipped a tooth around the same age. He cleaned the entire mouth up, took a few x-rays and slowly moved the tooth back into place. She cried a bit at the end, but was distracted by the video on the screen and the numbing gel he used. We'll see how the tooth goes, as it's a bit of a waiting game. But in the meantime, I believe she's in competent and compassionate hands... which is really all we can ask for.

You and your staff made the world of difference because of that she was so excited to get her teeth cleaned and she left looking forward to her next check up and cleaning. I left this place because of the bimbo so called office manager. I believe her name is Meagan, she is so unprofessional. She was talking with the girls next door in the other dental office. She was talking about her husband or boyfriend. She is so fake, phony, condescending and irritating. When she leaves then I may consider returning the doctors are great, but NOT some of the staff. Thumbs down for some of the staff especially this so called office manager!

Dr. Romero is an excellent pediatric dentist. My 2 children have been with him since he took over Dr. Serxner's practice several years ago. He is gentle and kind in his dealings with the children and his staff maintains the same standards. Three years ago my son broke his front tooth completely in half. We rushed straight from the urgent care where his face had been stitched to Dr. Romero's office. He reattached the broken tooth and repaired it with such skill that it is completely impossible to tell there was ever an issue. But that isn't even the most amazing thing. His office was actually closed that day! He could have easily referred us to another office and I would have completely understood. THAT is the kind of person he is, along with being good at his profession.

He took us in during emergency hours on a Friday night when my daughter slipped and broke her front adult tooth. He has nurtured that broken tooth until it actually fuzed together again, and he managed to save the tooth. He did not charge an emergency rate, and he has been diligent and great about carefully saving the tooth!
