Absolutely love this place... I mean my four kids love it and actually dont want to leave. The staff at the Fairfax location are all super nice. And everyone is professional! Dr Eric is the best with kids and makes them feel comfortable. And make help them actually want to brush their teeth!
Dr. Eric and the hygienist were very patient with my four year old. It was his first visit to any Dentist and he was a little nervous. The front desk staff were also warm and friendly. They have a patient for life in him and when my 15-month old is ready. Highly recommend!

Very dishonest place. Go somewhere else.We started orthodontic treatment under Dr Apt and we had no issues whatsoever, they were always very straightforward. All the previous staff is gone, that should have been warning enough. One of my kids' permanent retainer came off from one tooth. On the phone they told me it would be $75. We get there, first red flag was when the technician asked us if they told us how much this will cost. I told her what they told me on the phone. She fixes it, we go to check out, they tell us it costs $175. I tell them I was told a different price, they say that $75 is the "office fee", just because someone looks at you, and the "procedure" was $100. I tell them this has happened many times before when Dr Apt was there and we never got charged for it, the answer is " they're under new administration" and that's how they do it now. I asked them what's the warranty on their work, the answer was " no warranty, something happens to your retainers, you get charged again". This is not acceptable for a health care facility. Even a car shop gives you some warranty. If they do a shoddy job, they take no responsibility and you'll pay for repairs again and again, that's the message.

All the beautiful murals and kids' play areas are gone. Everything is plain and boring now so it definitely takes away from the experience.

Cancelled the dr appointment without any notification and After reaching the doctors office they simple told to me my daughters appointment was cancelled. This is ridiculous wasting every one's time.

Stay away from this place!! I wish I could give 0 stars. After an initial consultation and wasting my one hour and constant leaving them messages for a week I never received a call back for my son's treatment when they had told me that they will call me to make a follow-up appt.He has some active cavities that need to be treated and these people have no mercy. They don't value you and your child! They are a scam!! Stay away!!

If I could give this office zero stars I would. Office is ok if you need routine cleanings. Run if your child needs to have dental surgery. Horrible experience with hospital Coordinator Laura. She has dropped the ball and needs to be fired! 4 months of waiting and "re-scheduled appointments" I am out of a lot of money and no surgeries done. They also use capital childrens general anesthesia dentistry for surgery. Run from them as well. They canceled my child's surgery while she was in the office and already dressed for surgery.

Highly recommend! We've been taking our young daughter here since her first dentist visit. We've gone to both the Herndon and Fairfax locations. The offices are bright and clean and the dentists and technicians are always very friendly and gentle. My daughter likes wearing the sunglasses they provide and watching the movie that they screen on the ceiling.

Surprising and unusual that this establishment has as many 5 star ratings as they do. While they worked with my son for his first ever dental appointment, and handled him with thoughtfulness and care, for which I appreciate. That is not the reason for the 2-star rating. The callousness of the front office staff and the lack of detail when it comes to making sure everything is in order, is clearly in a state of disorganization. My wife submitted all necessary forms, including insurance card, ahead of the appointment weeks in advance. Upon arrival, I filled out additional forms and provided them with my insurance card. This should have been ironclad. We set another future appointment for additional work. Fast forward to this past weekend, we received a bill with an exorbitant amount from them for the initial appointment. We thought something may have happened to our insurance because it came as shock. This prompted us to call our insurance company, which they relayed that they never received a claim from them. Not once. While this is small fry to some, we can't afford mishaps or mistakes that take time out of our day to rectify. We trusted them to get it done right the first time, second and even third time for us. But it wasn't the case. In this economy and competitive market, you can't afford to make these kinds of mistakes. All it takes is one instance for an impression to be made.

I cannot say enough about how awesome this Dentistry is! We just moved to the area and I'm glad we went with this dentist! EVERYONE, from the front desk ladies, to the nurses, and the doctor are so incredibly welcoming, patient, gentle and kind. My son loved them all and even told one of the nurses that he can't wait to be back! For any child to say that about the dentist is a win in my book! They also had a little play area for the kids while they waited to be seen, but they are very efficient the wait is never too long. Very pleased with the service he got!!

The doctors and facilities are good. But the receptionist is really arrogant and biased. She doesn't treat you well and test your patience on every time. I would not recommend to visit this place unless you don't find any better place.
