I enjoy seeing our patients grow as they become part of our DFC family. When they are young, I love to see their excitement when they've had a great visit with no cavities. Later on, we hear updates on high school life and activities, and the excitement that goes along with graduating. Knowing that we have been a part of helping them maintain those beautiful smiles warms my heart.
My favorite part about working at DFC? Its hard to choose between our amazing team and the children, so I choose both! I absolutely love the innocent questions the children have about their teeth. They are so proud when they begin to understand and have a great check-up. Its so gratifying.
I enjoy working at Dentistry for Children because I truly love working with kids! They make every day exciting! I love to see how happy they get when I make them a balloon animal at the end of their visit.
One thing I love about working at DFC is the kids, for sure! Watching them come in a little nervous, but leave happy with smiles on their face is the best. I listen to all of the interactions and stories they have with the assistants and doctors and it puts a smile on my face! My coworkers are so kind and caring, and love to have fun. Not only with our patients and their families, but with each other as well. Makes for a great place to work!
Dr. Dennis earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry and his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his Hospital Residency at Hurley Medical Center and Mott Childrens Health Center in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Dennis is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served as the consultant to the surgeon general in both the Pacific command and European command.
Dr. Dennis is a Diplomate of The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and was elected to The International College of Dentists. He is also an adjunct faculty member of the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry.
Dr. Dennis was born in New York City and is fluent in both English and Spanish. In his spare time he is an active volunteer and has participated in many dental mission trips in the US and different countries such as Belize, Ecuador, Guatemala and Mexico. He also enjoys traveling with his family, baseball, basketball, cycling, arts and music.
Dr. Mitch comes from a large family of dedicated and driven dental professionals. With a grandfather, two uncles, several cousins and a sister all practicing in the field of dentistry, you might even say dentistry is in his blood. Dr. Mitch earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree as well as his Certificate of Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He spent two years at Childrens Hospital Omaha where he received extensive training treating patients under general anesthesia as well as in traditional clinical settings.
When Dr. Mitch isnt practicing dentistry hes likely enjoying time with his wife and two young boys. Biking, hiking, golfing, spending time on the water, and winter skiing are some of his favorite activities.
Dr. Mitchell Loeb received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating with special distinction in prosthodontics and restorative clinical sciences. After receiving his DDS from UMKC, Dr. Loeb traveled to Minneapolis and completed a three-year specialty residency in Prosthodontics, while also defending his Master of Science from the University of Minnesota. Following completion of his Prosthodontic training, Dr. Loeb pursued his passion of serving children and completed a second specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Oregon Health and Science University.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Loeb loves to ski, travel, hike, run, golf, and the occasional espresso. His favorite book is When Breath Becomes Air, favorite childhood movie is Toy Story, favorite Harry Potter is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, favorite vacation spots have been Vienna and Sun Valley, Idaho, and his favorite superhero is Iron Man.

These folks are amazing! My son had a pretty traumatic experience at another dentist, and was extremely anxious about having his teeth looked at again. Dr. Loeb and his team were unbelievably patient, gentle and kind during our first visit. They took the extra time to explain everything they were doing, let him touch and see how the tools work, and helped us come up with a treatment plan that would help him regain his trust in dental health and hygiene. From scheduling to billing to the staff in the back, these people are awesome. I'm so grateful to have found such an incredible Dentistry group for my kids.

Everyone is incredibly helpful and kind! The appointment was running a bit behind, but the staff helped entertain my infant while my toddler was getting his teeth cleaned! And the balloon animal at the end is a hit with our little guy!

I grew up with a fear of the dentist and had some very bad experiences. I am so happy i cam across this business. My kids absolutely love it here and the staff are amazing! Dr. Mitch is so wonderful with my kiddos.

We changed locations after several recommendations for Dentistry for Children. It's the best experience my kids have had. The dentists, and every member of the staff that we interacted with, were patient and helpful!

Staff were all extremely friendly and made sure the kids were comfortable. Each staff member that worked with my kids asked if I had any questions or concerns for their teeth. Dr. Loeb went over any concerns he had and how I can work on them at home.

We saw Dr. Mitch at the Monticello office. He is literally the BEST! 10/10 recommend. If you're looking for a dental office for your little one (especially for their first visit) this is the one! He was so kind, friendly, helpful, patient, gentle, answered all our questions and explained everything thoroughly. The office is beautiful too, brand new, brightly colored and perfect for kids. They have a kids area with tablets to play with and a big TV too. It was our toddlers first dental appt so naturally there was some crying, but he was so gentle and fast during the cleaning, and told us if at any point we're uncomfortable he'll stop, we really appreciated that (same goes for the hygienist-she was wonderful too!). Then he made her so happy at the end of the visit because he makes balloon animals! What a sweet touch, it definitely won over our toddler! Very happy with our visit there!

Very disappointed with the doctor we had. Working with pediatric patients you would think you'd have more patients with kids.. my six year old started crying because who likes the dentist office and he was scared getting a cavity. My husband was told he needed to leave the room immediately. My husband went back into the room as he could hear my son crying and the doctor told him if he didn't leave he was going to stop the procedure and he would have to come back another time to finish. How unprofessional, I was with the last appointment and had a similar experience with this doctor. My son was crying getting another cavity filled and the doctor had said to him , " you aren't being nice to me when you cry" ... I will never go back but thank god he is retiring.. to think he has treated other kids like this for x amount of years is sad.

I have two children with special needs and was very worried going in to our appointments about how they would be cared for. The staff at the Monticello clinic put all those worries to bay with how patient and kind they were with my children.
