Dr. Nguyenearned her bachelors degree in Chemistry from Xavier University in 2004. She received her doctorate at Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2009. With over 6 years of dental experience as an associate, she decided to open up her private practice, Little Smiles Dentistry.
Dr. Patel grew up in Eugene, OR, where she grew to love hiking, reading, and nature. Life brought her to San Antonio, Texas in 2008. She graduated summa cum laude from University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Biology. She received her dental training at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio, where she received the Award of Clinical Excellence.
Dr. Hoanggraduated from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering in 1995. He earned his Dental degree in 1999 from LSU School of Dentistry. After graduation he worked in Fort Worth as an associate for 3 years. In 2003, he along with his wife Mindy opened their private practice in North Ft. Worth. Dr. Hoang later opened a second location in the Fort Worth Alliance Market.
Dr. Hoangis an accredited Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) founded in 1972. The ICOI is the worlds largest dental implant organization and is also the worlds largest provider of continuing dental implant education. Dr. Hoangis a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Fort Worth District Dental Society. He is certified in administering Oral Sedations. Away from the office, Dr. Hoang enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children. He also enjoys fishing, skiing and photography.
Being an adventurous foodie and having his own transformative experience with dentistry as a teenager, Dr. Tam understands how important healthy teeth can be for our nutrition and our development, as well as our confidence.
After graduating from Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, Dr. Tam has been helping numerous kids and adults get their healthy smile back since 2013. With his experience and a continuous strive to learn through over 300 hours of continuing education, he strives to bring his patients the most up to date solutions for their oral health needs.
Dr. Tran graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He earned his doctorate degree in 2020 at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California where he enjoyed the weather, the beaches, and where he raised his maltipoo, Otto.
Dr. Tran spent a year in Richmond, California practicing community health dentistry to underserved communities before relocating back to Dallas. In his spare time, Dr. Tran likes to go to the lake, visit local breweries, and buy various house plants.

I do not recommend this place they are scammers that dr tan didn't even do any type of cleaning on me and didn't even clean my teeth right and there charging me $330 I RECOMMENDED TO YALL PEOPLE TO FIND A NEW DENTIST because they are scammers

Been coming here for 15 years for my son dental cleaning ; they have always been really nice and professional , and coming to his appointment today, I was afraid that they we're going to tell me that he would have to Change Dental clinics because of his age.. But No! To my surprise they are now seeing Adults too!.. Now my son is 16 years old and and I'm happy for his dental care professionals all these years. Thank you Dentist's !!!

Shout out to Dr. Conley and the team at Dentistry for Children for making my experience from scheduling an appointment to preliminary testing and getting my needed dental cleaning completed in a timely manner. Dr. Conley and her staff we both very informative about my dental health / ways to improve it and explained my x-rays, procedures needed, and cost summary each step of the way. Going to any medical health visit can always be a little anxiety inducing for me due to costs and medical jargon, but I felt very well taken care of at Dentistry for Children and will definitely be back in the future!

The absolute worst experience with a dental staff I have ever had in my entire life. I didn't agree with their "behavior management" technique that is specifically contraindicated when treating pediatrics, and was upset, so was ejected from the room, and told multiple times that if I didn't calm down they would stop the procedure, just for them to keep talking and making me more upset. Was also told that my son was sedated, despite his vital signs and response to pain indicating otherwise. At one point his heart rate was 148 bpm, and the doctor mentioned it and then just kept on like everything was normal. They didn't give anxiety meds, which are listed on the consent form, despite him having a significant history of anxiety. And even better, they literally don't even have nausea medication available for kids who get nauseated with the sedation, after being NPO for 12+ hours. All this after they first referred us to an office for oral sedation, only for that office to tell me that they don't do kids, and referred us to someone else who can't do IV sedation, which they explicitly told us he needed. Then this office calls me back, tells me that their "specialist" can do a more conservative treatment, and that it would better for him in the long run. Only for us to get there and him be traumatized. He needs more maintenance care, and after the experience we had at Dentistry for Children, it's going to be that much harder trying to get him into a different office with his anxiety where it already was. I never should've listened to them and their "more conservative treatment." The hygienist Annie stated they'd refer us to another office for the rest of his treatment, like us going back to them was ever even an option. Dr. Nguyen, I might have had to be a SILENT OBSERVER in your treatment room so you wouldn't send my son away with half treated teeth, but I don't have to be silent now. I hope you see this and reflect on your "behavior management" techniques and recognize that telling kids that painful procedures don't hurt is directly contraindicated in pediatric management, and that lying to your patient is not EVER in their best interest. And for the record, injecting local anesthetic is painful; if you don't know that, you need to sit in your own chair for a day. There's not enough topical anesthetic to pain injecting into the gum pain free.

Absolutely recommend this Dental office! I bring my 1year old daughter for her check ups and Dr. Dezern is always the one to check her and is super friendly and great with children! The staff is also very friendly, will help you answer any questions or concerns you may have!
