Very unprofessional! When you call this location, they are pretty ignorant on the phone. My son had an appt scheduled for cavities and we sat there for over an hour (after his scheduled appt time) and when I asked why they were taking kids back before him that clearly had an appt after him, they said that we are waiting for a room to open up. Mind you, the 5 or 6 kids that had appts after him were able to go back - so they definitely had a room available already. I left and switched dentists for my children. This is the worst dentist I ever had them go to (out of 2 dentists and now going to a 3rd).

So today my children had their appointment my oldest is 10 years old she doesn't need me inside the working area with her, but my second child which is almost 2 she needs me inside. When they call my last name to go in we all went to the door because I thought we all going to go inside and I said that the dentist will need me inside with my 2 years old but she said that she will call us and I didn't understand, were my two daughters going in or just my oldest? I was very confused. And when I was about to go back to my seat, the other hygienist looking at me and said NO NO. And I was like what?? I wasn't even talking to her. It's like I was begging her for something. Anyway I like the office stuff they all amazing but this lady ruined it. Not professional at all.

I'd give them zero stars if I could. I brought my 3 year old here for her first visit. I was told by the receptionist that I could go back with her for the first visit but after that she would be going back by herself...absolutely not! I decided to keep the appointment to speak to the Dr to see if this were true for three year olds. We were taken back and the hygienist didn't say a word to my daughter but asked me to put her on the chair. When my daughter refused to go on the chair, because she's three, the hygienist informed me that they could hold her down to do the exam. Needless to say, we left without getting an exam and wont be going back.

This place was awful, we didn't even get in to see the dentist. The pictures of the waiting room with toys are old or fake, they have no toys in the waiting room. They have six iPads mounted into the wall and exactly 2 of them were working. They do have three big tvs showing the same low-def movie though! Oh, they have a bookshelf with torn up super old books in it too. None of this would have mattered though if we had been seen in a timely manner. I arrived 15 minutes before my daughter's appointment as they requested, signed in as the woman told me to do, and then waited for half an hour! I walked out with my incredibly bored and cranky children at that point. There are far better pediatric dentists in the area, I recommend going to one of those.

1 star is too many. If your child suffers anxiety or has any spectrum of autism do not take them here. They do not have empathy, compassion, or patience.

I have been taking my children here for 16 years. I never had a problem when my daughter was being seen there. My son is a phobic patient and has Senory processing issues. They have absolutely no compassion or empathy. Today my daughter and son both had checkups. My daughter was texting me from the back room about how rude the one hygienist was being to them. When I addressed it, the staff had nothing to say and was all hushed. Then as we were leaving the office, a teenage patient turned and said to me, "Ma'am, they were all talking about you back there in front of other patients. That's not very professional of them." Well, I went back in and again addressed the issues and was told a whole different story. I will be picking up my children's records and go somewhere else. You are in a profession dealing with patients that may or may not gave underlying issues. You should have compassion and empathy. And they do not!

Did good work on my son's crown, but I heard the nurse yell at him "chill out, you're not the boss here..." they switched nurses when I went back to complain about him being mentally stressed in addition to already being terrified. Next appointment my son wanted me to come in with him to hold his hand. They would not allow it, no empathy. If you are a pediatric dentist you need to have skill, strong nerves and a good heart. I left the office with my son, we will go back to Dr. Harshaw to have his treatment done and change insurance plans. Update: the tooth under the crown eventually got infected. My son got really sick and thank goodness we noticed the abscess. The tooth got pulled. The crown done by a different dentist in the same time frame is still without any problems to this day.

My son's first & only experience was frightening....was to be expected...he was four. My experience (mom) has never been unsatisfied with any of the professional staff that rendered care. My son...for last six yrs...walks out with a smile on his face...which has to commend the ability & professionalism of the direct staff interacting with him.
