The staff is fantastic, they explain everything to the parents and to the child being worked on. The take their time and make you feel heard. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone who wants a good experience and who might be afraid of the dentist.

The staff was considerate, friendly, and most of all timely! And the doctor was amazing! She was intelligent, focused, genuinely caring about my granddaughter's well-being, and above all she performed the work in excellence and quickly.

Where do I begin...? My guys have been coming here for (at least) the last 8 years and when I say to people, my kids are weird because they actually like going to the dentist, its because of these guys here. At least to me, its a family thing, and my family feels our dentist office is invested in us.

Treatment with braces isnt just about straight teeth and a gorgeous smile. Its about maximizing the alignment of your teeth and jaw to improve your ability to bite, chew and speak. That perfect smile is a bonus a benefit that leads to improved self-esteem and self confidence.

Getting started with braces. To start orthodontic treatment, your orthodontist will first take x-rays and evaluate if youre a good candidate. Ideal candidates have healthy teeth and gums, but want to fix overbites, underbites, cross bites, spacing issues, overcrowding, a gummy smile or protruding upper front teeth.

How your teeth move. Braces work by applying pressure to teeth, pushing or pulling them into a better position. Your teeth actually move in their sockets. The process is called bone remodeling. The bone on one side of your teeth breaks down in the sockets, but builds up on the other side of the sockets. All of this is done using a gentle amount of pressure. You will visit your orthodontist regularly to make sure your teeth are moving properly.

Getting braces off. When your teeth have reached the desired results, your orthodontist will remove your braces, one bracket at a time. He or she will also remove any glue residue. Your orthodontist will then set you up with a retainer to help stabilize the new position of your teeth. Without a retainer, your teeth may move back to their original positions.

Exploring options. Traditional metal brackets arent for everybody. Other options include ceramic braces, lingual braces and Invisalign or clear aligners. Your certified orthodontist specialist will recommend the treatment thats best for you.

I went to this office for the first time today because I was told I could get in quicker there than Dawsonville, where we have been going for 2 years. My daughter is 4 and has a cavity on her front baby tooth and was there for a filling and crown on it. She just went yesterday to the Dawsonville office and had two of her back teeth done, NO PROBLEM. She didn't move an Inch when they gave her the shot to numb her gum. She even left and said she loved the dentist. We went ahead and scheduled her for today because they could get us in so quickly and Dawsonville couldn't until February, I wanted to go ahead and get it done. My appointment today was at 9:30, I was running late and drove from the north side of Dahlonega, I got there at 9:40. We checked in no problem, and sat in the waiting area until 10:40 before I asked to front desk if they forgot about her, I was told she was next. So the nurse comes out and calls her name and shows me papers and explains what they're going to do and I said ok, so we go to walk back and she tells me I cannot come back. Mind you my daughter is 4 years old. I had my son with me (who I breastfeed) as I'm a stay at home mom and do not have childcare for him, and I was not told I couldn't take him before I came today. There was no issue taking him to Dawsonville (never has been) or being in the room with her with my son as well. I kept telling them she wasn't going back without me and said if I needed to reschedule I would but she wasn't going back alone. Again, she's only 4!! They asked management and then the Dr if it was ok and agreed I and my baby could come back with her. After she was back there for about 30 or 40 minutes Dr Freeman came in and gave her the shot in her gums to numb her up and she felt every bit of pain even with nitrous and I guess the pink numbing stuff they use before the needle didn't work, she was in tears and I comforted her the best I could. After that the dr just walked out... not a word. She was gone for probably 20 minutes... then comes back in and started to do the filling and my daughter was already upset so she was crying and moving around a little bit and the Dr stopped and said she just wasn't going to be able to do it today. She told me that she was just going to need to be sedated. Seemed to me that she didn't want to take the time to do it herself. My daughter is very easy at the drs or dentist and she is very cooperative. She didn't even talk with her. As a 4 year old she shouldn't be treated like that. I was at this office for 2.5 hours for absolutely nothing. I just hope this experience won't ruin my daughters feelings about the dentist because until today she has loved going for 2 years. Also after reading several other reviews, seems like all dr Freemen does is goes straight to sedation, instead of doing her job. Dr Freemen was unprofessional and rude. I still never found out why she left the room for so long after she number her...

I could tell my 4 year old son was a little nervous about his 1st dentist visit but D4C made a great first impression! Everyone was so nice and cheery! He was very comfortable during the entire visit and even said he wants to go back already! Wait time was short and staff was informative! But even if there was a wait time I wouldn't have minded the service here is definitely worth it!

I made a same day appt for 2pm today for my 3yr old daughter to be seen. We were at a previous practice who was very mean to my daughter and my family, so I wanted to find a place that was warm and inviting and a place that would make my daughter comfortable. We went to Lake Lanier Smiles who referred us to D4C for X-rays because their machines weren't suitable for what's needed, plus, they stated they were not a pediatric office. We arrive at 130, (the time we were told to come), we do all the paperwork, they send us back and we wait. Abt 10-15min later, they move us to a room and tells us someone will be right with us. Well, no one was "right with us". We waited for 40min so I walked outside the door to speak with someone about the time we would be seen. I was told it was just a few minutes and they were nice and apologetic. We wait another 30min and at this time, I needed to go back to work. So I grab my daughter and walk out the room to leave. The same one I spoke with before says the dr is right here and will be coming to you next. At this point, I asked to speak to the office mgr. They informed Dr. freeman about us, she walks directly by us and looks in the room we were in, saw that it was empty and shrugs her shoulders then proceeds to walk of. The young lady helping us points to us and says "here are your patients". She rudely stated "do you want to be seen or no?" I said I would like to but you all have us sitting here all day. They usher us in the room, and I follow, only because I know my daughter needs work done. So I put my pride aside, put a smile on my face and walk in. I tell her why we are there and she starts to look in my daughters mouth. She stops and says to me with an attitude "why does she have all these cavities? She's only 3... what are you feeding her?" I didn't come to be judged about a thing, I came for a service. At this point, I ask what is the problem. She says "your daughter needs IV sedation so we can just get it done." No explanation as to what's wrong, just straight to sedation. I said, you just bypass nitrous? Why? My child is super still and cooperative. She says, well the previous office wasn't able to get X-rays, so I'm assuming she wouldn't be still there. I said don't assume. They took X-rays, they just never sent them to you all because they stated they didn't have good machines for children. I still don't know what is wrong with my child's teeth at this point. I had to practically beg for X-rays, they had us waiting another 10min for that and at that point, we left. 3hrs at the dentist is not what ANYONR signs up for. I don't know if there is overbooking being done or what, but, it's unprofessional and a major inconvenience for those of us who have lives and work jobs that we need to return to. dr. Freeman was disrespectful and mean to my child, rude and disrespectful to me, and she's an embarrassment to your company. That is no way to treat clients, let alone a 3 year old.

Very crowded and not so friendly front desk staff. Also took over an hour for just a cleaning. The hygienist and dentist were very friendly and informative though. Will give them a second chance because of that.

It was OK. The nurses are nice. But my only thing is my son is shy at first but the dentist lady didn't really try to talk to him and resure him, he was OK. I felt like she just wanted to get the job done. And before anything started I told my son tell me if it hurt and when he did I told her she just stop and said he would have to be sedated...

Scheduling staff is never willing to work with your schedule. They schedule you for whenever and don't even bother to ask if the appointment work for you or not and if you request a day or time they give you an appointment months out like to try to discourage you from for even asking.
