A board certified pediatric dentist has elected to complete accredited training and successfully completed an examination process to assess a candidates knowledge skill and judgment regarding standards of oral health care for infants, children, adolescents and patients with special health care needs. As your child develops from an infant into an adolescent there can be challenging issues that we can address and help you make informed educated decisions regarding your childs oral health care.
Our unique office has been designed to help facilitate your child's visit to the dentist. We suggest that in order to help you and your child prevent dental problems, the first visit should be by twelve months of age. Our mission is to create a dental home and establish a partnership with you regarding your child's oral health. Learning the fundamental's of preventive care at an early age will establish long term dental health for the rest of their lives.
Our staff is highly trained and skilled in working with your child in helping you with your child's dental health, prevention, treatment and special needs plan. We will discuss all treatment options with you helping make the proper choices for your child's dental care.

Been bringing my children to Dr. Gallegos for over 14 years, great care! They are like family now. Had the pleasure also of meeting the new associate Dr. Medrano as well, he is very nice and detailed. Staff is super nice too!!

My son has been going here for 6 years, and I was told he could not return since he had 3 missed appointments in SIX YEARS. Then when I requested his medical records all they wanted to give me were x rays. My son has had dental surgery and treatments that his new dentist needs to be aware of. I had to demand that she prepare his chart notes and records for me to pick up. Then, I wasn't able to pick up the records, and they just Gave them to a friend of mines without so much as even asking her name or my child's date of birth or anything. HUGE HIPPA violation! Needless to say, I've found my kiddo a new dentist and am happy with them. I'd never recommend Dentistry for Children to anyone.

First time ever that we had a bad experience with a medical professional. Dr. Gallegos was unprofessional. Unknowingly and incorrectly accused my wife of illegally having insurance when she was dealing with front desk staff. His office team was nice and respectful. Had to find a different provider and noticed a significant difference. Also my kid had to have his tooth pulled out because a cavity was not entirely removed/fixed.

THE STAFF IS SO NICE!!! But Dr Gallegos is something else, comes in to look at my child with a long face like he doesn't want to be there, very rough with kids and when you ask questions he answers dry and cut. Said my daughters tooth had to be removed I changed her to another dentist and they were able to save it. Don't bring your kids here.

I've been taking my 4 children to see Dr. Gallegos as soon as the first teeth come in. I have never been disappointed with the treatment my children receive here. Today I had to bring in my youngest son for an emergency visit as he broke his tooth. All treatment options were thoroughly explained and my son's tooth was treated. I'm happy to see my son being able to eat and be up and about like nothing happened.

Dr. Gallegos is our favorite pediatric dentist. He's good! He may joke around and be direct but it's because he cares about the teeth of the children. That's what I want. I don't want some doctor to sugar coat and be nice to me, I want a doctor who knows what he's doing! I will not take my children anywhere else. I learned of Dr Gallegos after being told my daughter had numerous cavities from another Pediatric Dentist.In short I was told to sign up for care credit and take care of all the cavities at once. It was going to be about $3,000 even with insurance! They were very pushy and even started to guilt me to do it (get care credit) and get her on the books right away. Even though it was going to be another month to get her in when the anesthesiologist was in -- to put her to sleep and get 'em all done at once. That doesn't sound like an emergency but ok. This was from a 5 star dentist in Puyallup (a very popular one whose name sounds like a candy bar). I was so shocked. I was upset and thinking I was a horrible mom. I almost did it, too. But I decided to call a friend who is a dental hygienist. She told me to get another opinion. So I took her to her dentist she works for. Not Dr. Gallegos. And he was highly recommended by her as fair and honest. He said "I can only see 1 cavity". But since he doesn't do children he referred me to Dr. Gallegos. So then I went to Dr. Gallegos. He, too, confirmed only 1 cavity! He fixed it and we only had to pay a couple hundred? Compared to $3-4k! So yeah, I trust him. And he's been patient with my daughter who would act the worst in the dentist chair! She's older now and doing much better. We have all our 3 girls there and they like it. They like the staff and Dr. Please check it out at least once and decide. I am very happy I found them.

It's good for milk teeth but there crowns and fillers fall out also they didnt take my cavity out completely my permnit tooth so I lost a tooth and had to get tooth surgery because of them I was in so much pain we ofcourse had surgery at another place and now I go to a different place. They just trina get payed and that's it

The man inside this office is SO RUDE !!!! I will never recommend or come back to this place I'm in shock that someone can speak as he did to a paying customer. I took my daughter into this place and was consistently cut off while talking he raises his voice will tell you to listen to him, he is extremely rude to his staff and does the same to them. He's okay with kids but definitely would have my husband or some man around when you go. The office had told me they would fit me in their schedule to have her teeth looked at. I sat in the lobby for a hour. When I was sent back I was treated second to none because I didn't have an appointment. They lied to me about when and how they were gonna be able to take care of her teeth. From Friday to Monday to now not at all. So I found a better place.

My child is treated well. I do occasionally feel like they might be ignoring some problems. They seem a bit dismissive of my concerns but, what can I really expect with state insurance?

I take my 6 year old son today and i was shocked by the way dr.treat my son he was physically very aggressive to him pulling him from his arms and holding him down also dr.rude to the point i have control my self from not to fight with him and i strongly believe he is racist ignorant can't hide his hatred even towards children I'm in the process of filling complacent against him with Washington states dentists association and take him to court as well

My kids love this office very friendly very professional staff they make you feel welcome and comfortable! I wouldn't go anywhere else !! The dr is great and treats everyone with respect and is so patient with the children we love it here
