The staff is fantastic, they explain everything to the parents and to the child being worked on. The take their time and make you feel heard. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone who wants a good experience and who might be afraid of the dentist.

The staff was considerate, friendly, and most of all timely! And the doctor was amazing! She was intelligent, focused, genuinely caring about my granddaughter's well-being, and above all she performed the work in excellence and quickly.

Where do I begin...? My guys have been coming here for (at least) the last 8 years and when I say to people, my kids are weird because they actually like going to the dentist, its because of these guys here. At least to me, its a family thing, and my family feels our dentist office is invested in us.

Treatment with braces isnt just about straight teeth and a gorgeous smile. Its about maximizing the alignment of your teeth and jaw to improve your ability to bite, chew and speak. That perfect smile is a bonus a benefit that leads to improved self-esteem and self confidence.

Getting started with braces. To start orthodontic treatment, your orthodontist will first take x-rays and evaluate if youre a good candidate. Ideal candidates have healthy teeth and gums, but want to fix overbites, underbites, cross bites, spacing issues, overcrowding, a gummy smile or protruding upper front teeth.

How your teeth move. Braces work by applying pressure to teeth, pushing or pulling them into a better position. Your teeth actually move in their sockets. The process is called bone remodeling. The bone on one side of your teeth breaks down in the sockets, but builds up on the other side of the sockets. All of this is done using a gentle amount of pressure. You will visit your orthodontist regularly to make sure your teeth are moving properly.

Getting braces off. When your teeth have reached the desired results, your orthodontist will remove your braces, one bracket at a time. He or she will also remove any glue residue. Your orthodontist will then set you up with a retainer to help stabilize the new position of your teeth. Without a retainer, your teeth may move back to their original positions.

Exploring options. Traditional metal brackets arent for everybody. Other options include ceramic braces, lingual braces and Invisalign or clear aligners. Your certified orthodontist specialist will recommend the treatment thats best for you.

My daughter has been coming to this location for roughly 2 years now and we both love it. The staff is very kind to my little one and the atmosphere is very child friendly.

Dr Alva is amazing. She's so patient and kind and puts the kids at ease. The staff acts like they truly care about the kids (& parents)! They work with you on scheduling flexibility. The staff is always smoking and acts like they want to be there which is so refreshing.

We've been coming here for a couple years and every appointment takes hours. My son's cleaning (only a cleaning) was scheduled for 9am. We arrived 15 min early and still waited 30 min before we were called back. The dental hygienists are great especially Marcie, however, the wait is absolutely ridiculous, especially the wait to see the dentist. It's difficult being a single mom and having to take 1/2 the day off for ONE appointment. Something needs to change at this office.

We had an appointment this morning for both of my boys, one with ADHD and one with Is Autistic. They where absolutely wonderful with them! Both boys did really well thanks to the amazing staff that took the time to make sure they where comfortable and knew what was coming next! They are amazing!

Over populated, prior requirements need to be asked before appointment not when people check their kids out of school to do appointment day of. When a parent comes to an appointment they are taking time off work to get their priorities taken care of not to not see a child because of clearance docs that have nothing to do with dentistry! The bathroom needs to be cleaned and managed better too. The place has not been same since first Dentist doctor was here.

I would definitely recommend this location. They were very patient and understanding with my special needs child. They successfully cleaned her teeth (hard to do). I am glad that I made appointments for my other children to come here.

I wasn't overly enthusiastic with the new dentist. She didn't explain things as thoroughly as Dr. Todd did and it's frustrating to see another dentist in there. They seem very quick to want to refer to the orthodontist next-door when my child hasn't even lost her first tooth yet. I also didn't appreciate the dentist commenting about the possibility of being wrong, "but it's unlikely in my 23 years of experience." I think she made that reference two times during our 30 second conversation. When we were checking out I asked the dental hygienist for some additional clarification instead of basing their referral off of the little information given to me from the dentist herself. That's when I was told that I did not need to follow through with the referral at this time and could wait until she turns eight. I don't understand why the dentist didn't tell me this. I was frustrated when I left and have started looking into other children's dentists in the area. I think it might be time to switch.

This was March. When you have a 1030 appointment for a checkup and you don't leave until after 12 o'clock is a bit ridiculous. We weren't late and the waiting room was so full I left and went back out to my car. We waited over 30 mins to be seen. It seemed way over booked and I wasn't the only parent who thought so. There were several families upset about how slow it was going. I hope his next visit goes quicker. He had cavities and it was May when they scheduled to be filled, I thought that was crazy. Unfortunately, we had a schedule conflict and had to reschedule for July, July! They were quicker but it was for a filling and not a cleaning. We went to that appointment only to find out one tooth wasn't filled and the second cavity was scheduled for OCTOBER! This is 7 months after it was discovered in March! Ridiculous!! He will have his 6 month cleaning before he actually gets his cavities filled from his appt 6 months before! This can't be good for their permeant teeth! Just saying from concerned parent.

This place is terrible. My husband took my son today to get a filling. They rescheduled his appointment 4 hours before his original appointment time because the dentist had to leave early today, my 4 year old started crying because he was scared and they would not see him and told my husband they needed to reschedule at a later date when my 4 year old wasn't as nervous. And told my husband they couldn't give my son anything to calm him during the procedure (probably because they were leaving early today) My husband drove 2 hours for his appointment today and was charged for nothing! Keep in mind this is a childrens dentistry and they don't want to deal with crying kids. We will NOT be back. I'm ashamed at them.

Waited over an hour after scheduled apt time with an anxious 3 year old. No communication during that time. Dental hygienist was friendly and tried best to clean child's teeth. Saw dentist for maybe 30 seconds. Not sure how she could tell my child had no cavities as there were no X-rays taken and she didn't look at my child's teeth but she told me there were no cavities. Dentist spent 10 seconds putting on gel flouride then literally got up and walked out of the room stating no cavities today.

I had to take my daughter here for 3 extractions. This was her first visit with dentistry for children. She loved the dentist and the assistant taking care of her. She said they were very sweet and made her feel comfortable. We had a very pleasant experience from the moment we walked in the door. This is where I will be taking my daughter from now on even though it is over an hour from where we live.
