Dr. Scott Thompson was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He attended the University of Pittsburgh, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated cum laude. Dr. Thompson went on to attend Boston University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1987. Dr. Thompson then moved to Vermont to complete a general practice residency at the University of Vermont before opening a private practice. He travels extensively to learn about the latest technologies and concepts in dental science. Some of the courses he takes are provided through the prestigious Spear Institute and Dawson Academy. Dr. Thompson is also an active member of the Vermont State Dental Society.

Jamie is a professional, enthusiastic dental hygienist. She graduated from the University of Vermont in May 2000 with a degree in Allied Health Sciences. Jamie returned to UVM in May 2001 and became local anesthesiology certified. Jamie spent 8 years focused on the treatment of periodontal disease. Jamie is excited about what she is doing, has high standards of quality and integrity, and is motivated to achieve the best results for our family of patients. Jamie enjoys spending time with her three children, a son and twin daughters. In her spare time, her interests revolve around family, health, and fitness.
Annie has been a part of our team since the summer of 2011. She is a native Vermonter and a UVM alumna. After almost ten years of working as a hygienist in a private practice in the Boston area, she returned to Vermont. Her dedication to oral health and how it connects to the whole body makes for a great fit in our team. When she is not serving our patients, Annie enjoys hiking, camping, sailing, skiing, and tapping trees with her husband and children.
Norma became a wonderful addition to our team in May of 2019. Norma is a delight to work with and has numerous years of experience in the dental field. Everyone in the office, staff and patients alike, thoroughly enjoy Normas constant humor. It is rare that someone meet Norma and not remember her the next time they visit! Norma resides in Colchester, Vermont with her husband. In her spare time she enjoys being in the sun, riding motorcycles, spending time with her family, and anything having to do with Prince!

Dr. Thompson and his team are the cream of the crop in dentistry! Everyone is warm, compassionate and caring and have fabulous senses of humor! The level of care is top notch and I will never go anywhere else for dental care! I have been going there for 20+ years.

I had anxiety going into the appointment Because I'm not so keen on going to the dentist BUT that all quickly went away when I met all the nice and lovely people that work here. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The dentist was extremely informative and walked me through everything! I was very happy with my appointment and I'm excited to return!

They recommended things I did not need, I went to another dental office and they said I didn't need what they recommended. I take good care of my teeth. They also recommended all this cosmetic stuff, felt they were all about the money!

I had my teeth cleaned today and related the experience to a massage. It was at that moment Sally suggested the massage chair be turned on! Where else can you feel so pampered? I love this practice!

I love this office! They are so friendly, genuine and knowledgeable about dentistry and customer service. I have seen them for the last two years and have never been disappointed with their work. Dr. D gives great advice and is so helpful, while Ashley at the front desk is very approachable and so delightful to interact with, I am so fortunate to have found them. My teeth are so healthy and white, people often comment on them. This office is very professional, timely and have the patients' needs front and center. I recommend you switch dentists if you live in the Burlington area or are new to Vermont.
