Dr. Charles A. Ray III (Charlie) attended the University of Texas in Austin, followed by the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, graduating in 1970. After three years of service in the U.S. Army as a dentist, he was honorably discharged with the rank of Major. He returned to a full-time clinical teaching position at the dental school. In 1974, he began his dental practice on Mason Road.
With over 1800 hours of post-graduate education, he qualified to receive the Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007. Only 1% of all dentists practicing in the United States since 1954 have achieved this. With over 45 years of experience, Dr. Ray is a member of these dental associations: the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Ray also completed an extensive two-year dental cosmetics program at the UCLA dental school in 2001.
Dr. Ray and his wife, Dinah, live here in Katy and have 10 wonderful grandchildren. They love their church family at Katy Community Fellowship where Dr. Ray serves as Trustee and Dinah is active in the Womens Ministry. Charlie has a passion for photography and enjoys traveling extensively with his family. To be able to capture a view of Gods many unique creations in our world has been thrilling. Life is amazing and I have been blessed to have shared in so many others lives throughout the years.
Dr. Sharon K Stolarski has been in the field of dentistry since 1988. She graduated with honors from Wharton County Dental Hygiene program in 1988 and practiced dental hygiene part-time as she continued her education. In 1990, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University, and in 1994, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston with honors. She has been in the Katy, TX area ever since.
Dr. Stolarski is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Dental Society and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. In her free time she enjoys hiking, boating, and traveling.
In 1998, Dr. Stolarski joined Dentist Climb for a Cause and climbed Mt. Whitney, the tallest mountain in the contiguous United States, to help raise money for Operation Smile. In 2005, she hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim in one day with Dentist Climb for a Cause to raise money for dental care for needy children in China. Her latest adventure took her to Africa trekking on Mt. Kilimanjaro and on safari in the Serengeti.
Dr. Joseph Estes graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Biology. He then attended The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2001. While at dental school, Dr. Estes was on the deans list and was a member of ASDA (American Student Dental Association). Upon graduation from The University of Texas Dental School he was presented with The Excellence in Clinical Dentistry Award.
Since beginning practice in 2001, Dr. Estes has continued to strive for excellence for his patients by seeking advanced education to stay on the cutting edge of current dentistry. Included in this has been an extensive two year course on TMJ treatments and full mouth rehabilitation at The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida.
In 2007, Dr. Estes completed 12 seminars with progressive Orthodontics in California over the course of 2 years. Early prevention and two-phase treatment, conventional braces and Invisalign encompasses the orthodontic treatment provided by Dr. Estes who has become an Elite provider for Invisalign. Early prevention has become a true passion for Dr. Estes after seeing the great benefits from starting early to correct issues that can later become much larger problems.
Dr. Brady Kratz graduated from Baylor University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. He worked at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for one year before attending the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School from 1997-2001. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTHSCSA and while in dental school, received the Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry and the Award of Recognition from the Department of General Dentistry.
Dr. Kratz began practicing general dentistry in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2001. He has completed numerous hours of continuing education in Cerec CAD-CAM technology, Endodontics (root canals), and comprehensive dental care including esthetic and minimally-invasive dentistry. Dr. Kratz has also completed extensive training in dental implant placement from Arrowhead Dental Laboratory and the prestigious Zimmer Dental Institute. In 2010, Dr. Kratz came to Katy to be a part of the Dentistry by RSE team.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association and Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Kratz is married to Rebecca Gaston Kratz of Houston. They have three children, Hayden, Chloe, and Sophie. In his spare time, Dr. Kratz enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
