I'm disappointed. I wanted to like this dentist. The location was convenient; the staff was friendly; it just seemed perfect. I was even ready to bring my kid there too, but then I feel like I was mislead on a procedure. I had some space opening at the gum line, and the dentist suggested I get a filling. I asked if the procedure would be covered, and the dentist assured me it likely would. I admit I was naive when it came to this, but I felt a dentist, that I had begun to trust, wouldn't intentionally exploit that naivety. I think I was wrong. I believe the dentist should have a record of my oral history, and the dentist should also have an idea of how the insurance company will code a certain procedure. I trusted on the dentist to understand that when a patient asks if it would be covered, the patient is looking for an honest answer whether the procedure is more likely a covered procedure rather than an uncovered cosmetic one. I also didn't appreciate that when I brought this to the dentist's attention, the response I got was effectively, I should be happy to pay that unexpected fee because of how good my teeth look. Long story short: be careful with what they suggest.

Yani who works at the front desk is lovely. Dentist, not so much. I went to this office to ask for a second opinion on a recommendation of needing a crown. They insisted I needed X-rays even though I had just got them taken with my own dentist. Prior to the appointment I asked if I could get a copy of my X-rays so my insurance wouldn't charge me twice. As a compromise I was told they would take complimentary X-rays free of charge to make the best assessment about my crown. While I was there the dentist was pushing those clear braces on me, offering promotions and insisting that I need to consider them. When I asked for a printout of how much all their services would cost the dentist kept telling Yani to print out multiple breakdowns so the cost would not appear to be overwhelming. I decided not to go back because the dentist didn't seem transparent and I especially did not appreciate her assuming that I could not afford the cost of the services I needed. The reason why I'm writing this review is because they did run those X-rays through my insurance forcing me to pay full price as it was excessive to my annual allowance. I'm very upset that they lied about complimentary X-rays, I'm even more upset that when I asked for one clear print out of services they gave me several broken downs "to alleviate the worry of the cost" and it's frankly just annoying that I went for a crown consultation and had to listen to the dentist pitch about braces over and over again.

I needed a new dentist and with them being on the trolley line came here out of convenience. They told me they would do x-rays and not charge me for them, because they said they needed them to do anything - they promised they would not charge me anything and would take 2 x-rays only. Then, they took 4 x-rays and made me pay for them, because they took more than my insurance would cover. I would have absolutely sent over my x-rays from the previous dentist if they had not lied to me - I never should have trusted them. I then went in the next day for two fillings, and paid a certain amount for that as well - that seemed to go okay. However, I found out later that they charged me both of those visits BEFORE running it through my insurance, and now they owe me over $150 from both visits. When I asked why they don't run it through the insurance first like most places do, she said "of COURSE they don't". I have been calling for a week and each time they say something about being so busy, and the person who does this job isn't there most of the time. The dentist is nice and did good work - but I absolutely do not trust them with my money anymore. Don't go here!!!

Dentistry at the Promenade, what can I say. I've been going to see Dr. Caeg-Bustamante since I was at least 7 years old. I'm 37 now, Dr. Bustamante and her team have taken care of me and my family for decades. We laugh now, because when I was a kid, I'd be kicking and screaming. She was always good with me and understanding. Now, I'm an adult and still see her! She has a great team, that is reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable. Her office is great too, you can pop in a movie and watch TV in their ceiling if you have to be in for a long visit. Dentistry at the promenade makes seeing the dentist a streamlined and pain free. They'll be keeping me smiling for decades to come! Thank you Dr. Bustamante and The Dentistry at the Promenade team!!!

I am happy to give Dr. Bustamante a 5 star rating. She has been my dentist for the past 6 years. She and her staff are very professional and use the latest technology. The office is small with only two chairs, but the decor is quite elegant. The patients are invited to watch their favorite movies while the dentist works on their teeth. Dr. Bustamante is very educated and sensitive to each patient's dental needs.

Take the 1 and 2 star reviews seriously guys! I created this account just so I could warn others. They are after your insurance money! I went in for a routine cleaning and was told I had SEVEN cavities. Now my insurance covers most of it but I'd have to pay $20 bucks for ea. Something in my gut told me to get a second opinion. I left my NEW dentist today and they found two filings that needed repairs on my back molars (from grinding my teeth) and that was it! They showed me my X-rays and explained everything top to bottom. Teeth are in great shape! The dentist at the promenade took a 10 minute look, poked and prodded and told me to shuck out $140 between 2 separate appointments. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and borderline illegal. If you have to go here, try and get a second opinion or else your teeth AND your wallet will be hurting.

Everything was done well. Everyone is very friendly and they took proper precautions for safety from the virus. My only complaint was the constant noise of drawers and cabinets being slammed behind the chair I was sitting in. Going to the dentist should be in a quiet atmosphere with maybe only soft music in the background.

Dentistry at the Promenade is without a doubt the most accommodating and welcoming office I've ever been to. Dr. Shah, Yani, Grace, and the rest of the staff members have always treated me with the most upmost respect and individual care. It's the type of space you walk into and immediately feel a sense of closeness both internally and externally.
