Dr. Brian Lee graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry, one of the nations top dental schools, in 2003. Before that, he grew up in Marietta, GA and graduated from Alan C. Pope High School in the East Cobb area. He then went on to UGA to receive a degree in microbiology. While at UGA, he met his wife, Dr. Katherine Lee.
After graduation from dental school, Dr. Lee moved to New York to complete his residency program. He completed his general practice residency at the Wyckoff Height Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where his hard work and devotion was recognized with a Resident of the Year Award. He spent another three years working as an associate dentist for private dental offices.
Dr. Lee then moved back to his home state of Georgia in early 2007 to follow his dream of opening a state-of-the-art office with his wife. They have two sons, Brandon and Jayden. Brandon is deeply into math and science with dreams of becoming an engineer, while Jayden loves sports and hopes to one day be a dentist like his parents.
Dr. Lee is so devoted to providing the best possible dental care to his patients that he spends many weekends attending continuing education courses all around the countryespecially in dental implantology and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Katherine Lee graduated from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2003. While in dental school, she became so passionate about patient education and motivation concerning oral health that she also enrolled in the public health program and earned a Master of Public Health degree. Before that, she grew up in Dunwoody, GA and graduated from Dunwoody High School. She then also went on to UGA to receive a degree in microbiology.
Dr. Lee went on to complete her general practice residency at the Veterans Affair Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, which is renowned for its particularly excellent residency program. After working as an associate dentist in other offices for a few years, she and her husband Dr. Brian Lee decided to move back to his home state of Georgia and open up their own dental practice in early 2007.
She just loves how dentistry enables her to improve a persons health, appearance, and confidence all at the same time, and this is why she spends much of her time off attending various continuing education courses across the country, mostly for laser-assisted dentistry and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Lee has two sons, Brandon and Jayden, who hopes to become an engineer and dentist respectively. Her only wish is that they end up loving their jobs as much as she loves hers. Brandon plays the violin and Jayden plays cello while Dr. Lee plays the piano which makes great piano trio among three of them.

Support staff was helpful and friendly. My dentist, Dr. Megan Smith, was very thorough, had a calming way about her, and helped keep my dental anxiety to a minimum. Fantastic first visit.

I have been going to this dentist since I moved here in 2019 and my visits are usually great. However, today's visit was a big disappointment. My usual hygienist (Tanya) is out and the lady who took care of me in her place today actually ruined my experience. After the dentist checked out my teeth, I asked the hygienist if she was going to finish my teeth cleaning with the polishing. I told her I usually go for the mint flavor over the cinnamon. I only asked this because that is my favorite part of the cleaning process (yes I am weird that way ). She proceeded to tell me that she already did that and I just didn't remember her doing it. She also said there is only one choice of flavor. I told her that I wouldn't have forgotten that part. She became a little argumentative and insisted she had done it. I again stated that I would remember if she did as that is my favorite part of the visit. She went over to the drawer with the polishing paste and was about to tell me again that there was only one flavor, but actually saw i was not wrong in the choices as she pulled out the two flavors. At that point, she proceeded to apply the fluoride treatment and dismissed my comment. Then she stated "I can do it again if you really want me to." I was a little taken aback by her attitude and told her to forget it. I just hope I am not getting charged for a service I did not get as that would be fraudulent. I am also really displeased with being told that I "don't remember being treated." My memory is just fine! It makes you wonder who else she has done that to. If I decide to go back, I hope I never have her again.I did voice my concerns to the receptionist during check out and told her it was very awkward. I have never had anything like this happen before. Disappointing indeed!

I really appreciated the way the hygienist truly listened to my concerns and even shared them with the doctor. I felt safe and at peace, even though I went in with some anxiety.

The experience during my appointment to evaluate my mouth for implants was professional! I look forward to having the procedure done. Its been 30 years since the accident left me with a broken jaw and several missing teeth. Its time to financislly get this tsken care if, seeing how the VA has not helped one bit!!!

I have never been a fan of going to the dentist and have always been a "white knuckle" patient. That has all changed after my first visit to Dentistry at Hickory Flat. Today I had a temporary hygienist who was absolutely fabulous despite me being her first patient on her first day! It speaks to the type of people who are hired to work here. One of the things that impresses me most is how each hygienist has read my chart and has suggestions on how to make me more comfortable during my cleanings. I have very sensitive teeth and gums that hurt when treated with cold water often used in dentistry. They are willing to take the time to do the tartar/plaque removal by hand. Amber was amazing yesterday and I hope she is there when I return in July. The moment you walk in you are greeted in a warm, friendly manner and are treated like you are the only patient they have to take care of. I am generally taken on time or even better, early. Whether you are afraid of the dentist or are already a dental fan I would highly recommend Dentistry at Hickory Flat or their other practice in Canton, GA.

Very good service, I am glad found them. Tanya was awesome in explaining the condition of my teeth after exam and procedure. Very knowledgeable. Dr. Smith is really good. She did not spent too much time to figure out the problem and suggested quick solution. I would love to go back again. Thank you
