We are proud to provide dental care in the Castle Rock, Colorado, area and welcome individuals and families from many surrounding cities, including Castle Pines, Franktown, The Pinery, Parker, Stonegate, Lone Tree, Heritage Hills, Highlands Ranch, Louviers and Sedalia, Colorado.
Travis Haws, DDS Dr. Haws, a Colorado native, spent his younger years in Colorado Springs and graduated from Cherry Creek High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and then graduated with high academic honors from Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Haws has practiced all phases of dentistry in the Denver suburbs over the past 20 years. Dr. Haws is a member of the ADA, CDA and MDDS and keeps his education and skills current by attending a variety of CE courses that are both hands-on and didactic. He was an implant consultant for Dentsply/Friadent for a number of years, even traveling to Germany to increase his knowledge of placing and restoring implants.
Dr. Haws is also proud to be an official Breathe Ambassador trained through The Breathe Institute. In order to put this expertise to use, he offers CBCT airway imaging, sleep physician verified sleep studies and myofunctional therapy.
Dr. Haws believes his primary role beyond diagnosis is to educate patients not only about the diagnosis but various treatment options, enabling patients to choose the best treatment that suits them and their individual life circumstances.
Dr. Haws and his wife, Camille, love the state of Colorado where they have raised their six children (the last three being triplets) who have all graduated from Cherry Creek High School. Dr. Haws is also enjoying his new role of grandpa to his first granddaughter, born in February 2018. The Haws family has spent many hours cheering on each other at numerous sporting events in the metro area. As a family, they enjoy hiking, skiing and riding dirt bikes in the Colorado mountains.
Debbie Office Manager Debbie has been in the dental field for nearly 15 years and not only enjoys building long time trust and relationships with patients, but also helps with insurance and accounting. She will be sure to maximize your insurance benefits to make sure you get the care you need! Outside of the office, she loves spending time with family, friends and taking care of her beautiful and sassy daughter!
Christa Dental EDDA Christa has been in the dental field for over 25 years and absolutely loves making a fun, relaxing experience for our patients. Christa was born in San Francisco and moved here as a young girl and loves to call Colorado home. Christa has been happily married for 23 years to Jason and they have three amazing children. In her spare time, she loves cheering on her kids at their various sporting events. Christa is a Colorado Avalanche fan, plays volleyball and loves to travel.
Stacia Dental EDDA Stacia has been an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant since 2007 and loves being in the dental field. She is gentle and patient and enjoys creating a comfortable experience for her patients as well as being able to build relationships and build confidence. She is a Colorado native and is kept busy being a mother to her two beautiful children; her daughter, Rylinn, and her youngest baby boy, Archer.
Elizabeth Dental Assistant Lizzy is our newest dental assistant! Her interest in the dental field began at an early age and she is very excited to finally begin her journey. We are happy to have Lizzy with us and help her learn all she can as she pursues her goal of becoming a dentist. In her free time, you will find her working on music and art, as well as practicing her skills of computer programming.
Kimiko Dental Hygienist Kimi has been a hygienist since 2010 and loves her profession. She grew up with a significant dental phobia and anxiety being at the dentist. Because of this, she is great at making everyone feel comfortable and laugh while in her chair. She also has advanced training in airway dentistry, breathing coaching, and was trained to do myofunctional therapy by Sarah K. Hornsby. Outside the office she loves to travel abroad, explore Colorado and is a Polynesian dancer.

Caring staff. Light, bright office. Easy to make appointments. I'm a "big baby" when it comes to any dental procedure, but I have no fear going here!

First time at this office, The Best experience ever. The staff made me very comfortable, took the nerves right out of me. Going to the Dentist always made me nervous. The Doctor was very caring asked me what I would like to have done with my situation of the loss of my teeth. I have Lots of faith in the procedures needed to give me my smile back. Am going head on with all recommendations. I highly recommend Happy Canyon Dentistry 100%. If I could give 10 Stars they all deserve it.

Updated 8-17-22: I have been a patient of the team at Dentistry at Happy Canyon for a couple of years now, and during that time I've had multiple treatments done thanks to my wimpy teeth that like to fall apart. In every instance, I have been thoroughly pleased with Dr. Haws and the whole team. Thank you for taking such good care of me! My original review: I was very impressed by the staff and office when I visited yesterday. I have a lengthy and sort of complicated dental history, and I felt my concerns were taken into consideration as the hygienist and dentist were visiting with me, and when my treatment plan was presented. I was a little concerned about how treatment costs would compare at this office to others, given the location and how nice the office is. I was happy that the treatments I was offered were fairly priced given the level of professionalism presented. I look forward to having my needed dental work done by this team.

The dental hygienist was incredibly kind and explained everything she was doing. She also took my x-rays very efficiently. The whole office was spotless and very well maintained, I will definitely come back to this dental office.

I absolutely love Dr. Haws and his staff!! I feel like I got a whole new set of teeth today with a simple procedure that they did for my reseeding gums. These guys are GREAT here!!!

Cleaning appt today, June 13th at 4pm. Hygienist was ready for me... Waited about 5 mins. Another great experience. Highly recommend. Great dentist and great team. Atmosphere is inviting. Check in and check out is easy. Highly recommend

Excellent team. Scheduling and administration are a breeze, Kim is a superb hygienist, and Dr. Haws is able to work on my very complex case with confidence. And... they all stay up to date with best practices, avoid unnecessary expenses, and are all very friendly.

I have been looking for a good dentist since my last dentist moved 10 years ago and I've finally found one! Dr. Haws is extremely experience and trustworthy which is hard to find in a dentist and his staff is even more amazing. I don't live close at all, but the 30 minute drive is worth it!

This place is AMAZINGLY wonderful. Front desk staff are super sweet & helpful. The dental hygienist Kimi is SO wonderful. She's smart thoughtful attentive and extremely competent. She out me at ease & took great care of me. I'm back again ! This is the only place I trust for my dental needs ... I'm a very nervous dental client, but they make me feel at ease here, especially Debbie at the front desk...

The entire staff, from Travis on down was very accommodating and professional. They took the time to explain what their approach and what their solutions were for me, which were considerable. Kylie was awesome in her attention to detail, as well as her gentle and calming methods. Very pleased with the results and highly recommend them to anyone.

This place is so very relaxing, efficient, competent, friendly & caring. Visiting the dentist can make me feel anxious, but the people in this place put me at ease and take great care to make sure I'm comfortable and as relaxed as possible.
