Dr. Cynthia Jones has been practicing dentistry for over 35 years. After receiving her degree in general dentistry, she completed a pediatric residency in 1983 at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. Dr. Jones continued her education with extensive orthodontic training while practicing pediatric dentistry. In 2009, Dr. Jones decided to open the office to adults whose children were patients. Today she sees new patients of any age as well as many second generation families. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and Gnathos Orthodontic Society.

Dr. Jones has four children. Her daughter, Kendall, will graduate from dental school soon. She also has 2 sons, Chase, a recent graduate of GSU, and Nick, who lives here in Suwanee. Her second daughter, Victoria, lives in Seattle with her husband. Anyone who has been in the office knows that Dr. Jones loves all things Disney, probably because she is a big kid at heart. She strongly believes that patients need to fully understand all of the options before deciding on a course of treatment. Known for her down-to-earth personality, Dr. Jones enjoys long lasting relationships with many of her patients.

Pro tip: If you're going to rip off your customers, you probably shouldn't do it after one kid just got their braces off and the other hasn't started them yet. There's nothing keeping me here, and I cannot wait to never go back. All that stuff about Dr. Jones you read in the other negative reviews, 100% true. She treats her staff like complete garbage, and she's generally rude, abrasive, and all around unpleasant. I've endured it for the past couple of years because I couldn't be bothered switching dentists. But today I reached my threshold for unprofessionalism. After waiting an hour and a half for my son's appointment, I was charged an additional $500 for work he had done two appointments ago. If there was a legitimate reason for that, then fine, but the woman at the desk was all like, "Um... I'm not sure what this is, but it looks like maybe you owe us some money?" If you're charging me $500, please be sure what it's for. Thank you, Dr. Jones, for finally inspiring me to find a different dentist.

I took my daughter here a few months ago and let me tell you, I have NEVER seen or heard a dentist talk to their staff the way that she does. The poor employees seemed to be anxious and on edge. When we went in for the first appointment/consultation, the dentist was approachable. When we went back to get the work done, I witnessed her true colors as described in some of the other reviews. I thought she was going to drop one of the instruments down my daughter's throat. Absolutely would not recommend. Horrible work ethic, unprofessional, and certainly unsafe especially if you have a child with special needs.

Dr. Jones does not wear a mask while she works on patients., saliva flew out of Dr. Jones mouth into my daughters mouth . She also cut her so now whatever flew into my daughters mouth is really in there. When confronted about it she claims that she had Covid 2 weeks ago and has the antibodies so she is safe. What about other diseases? I had to explain that wearing the mask is to protect the patients and she has a responsibility to do so. She stated she hasn't worn a mask in 30+ years and there is a sign in the office that states that . Dr. Jones is terrible toward staff but claims they don't mind. This is Disgusting.we have not had Covid. We are currently waiting to see if my daughter gets sick. It's upsetting to do everything you can not to get sick but go to a dentist and be more at risk then ever.

Dr. Jones was awesome for my son's consultation and it has been downhill from there. She is so rude and argumentative with her staff and behaves thus way publicly and loudly. She also doesn't even speak to the patients. My son had a special situation with his braces and I will say that she does make sure it gets done right. However, she has absolutely no bedside manner AT ALL!!! The ortho techs were the only thing that kept me coming back. They were both so sweet. Also, billing has been a nightmare. She does not listen at all and I'm not entirely sure she knows what she's doing. We have had the same conversation multiple times how much Dr. Jones was charing because he only got 2 brackets and a retainer/flipper and that I have insurance. She still tried to charge my husband the price for uninsurred. Overall, I am happy with the result but I am so happy to be out of the environment. The couple visits I had to dental side were no better so we will be changing providers.

My sister was seen by Dr. Jones recently, she's a senior, wrong choice. Was more focused on money than patient. Very uncaring, my 64 year old Sis was physically screaming and crying out in pain while having tooth extracted...so sad. Dr. Finished, never once came back in to check on her. Very unprofessional to her assistants. I would not recommend her to anyone. Best part is, my Sis went to a professional dentist today, had 4 teeth extracted, no pain, great experience.

My kid had two fillings done here ended up having abscess 2months later. The other dentist we visited said that the fillings they used are not usually done on kids. Office and rooms are filthy and xrays machines look very outdated. Will not return to this office.

Had a bad experience with my kids at this location. They use multiple dentists , some who clearly do not care about the comfort of the children. I would not recommend this place for anyone. The office staff is nice but the actual dentist who horrible. Now my kids scare the lady. Last visit !!!

Most horrible dental experience my children have EVER had...and that I've EVER had to watch as a mother! Hygienists and Dr. Jones were equally rude and unprofessional. Telling my kids "it's just a little blood...stop being so dramatic!" And things of that sort. My 13 and 6 yr old will not be returning here! Lawrenceville Pediatric Dentistry is the BEST dentist for kids...if you're looking!

My son was told he had two cavities and due to the cost we did only one. We later went to another dentist to get a second opinion and they said no cavities. Several of our family have had fillings here and now I am skeptical about them even needing them. I have to get two fillings fixed because they continued to give me discomfort and I went back but the filing did not help. The way one was done has left a space that has caused food to get caught and created issues. The point of this review is that you should get a second opinion. I was told I had several watches and that another dentist would want to fill them. I was told to buy and use a very expensive fluoride product. I bought it but did not use it. I had xrays with another dentist and there were no issues with my other teeth. They said they need to redo the two fillings I had done about two years ago at this practice. We had gone here for years but decided it was time for a second opinion and so far none of us have cavities. Please get a second opinion.

didn't clean the glue off my teeth when i got my braces off because they were careless and trying to move on to the next kid because apparently timeliness is more important than the teeth i have to live with for the rest of my life. years later i had to get it fixed at another dentist because i refused to go back here where they messed them up in the first place.

When making the appointment, I asked the front office to please check my insurance before the date of the appointment to ensure that it was going to be accepted. I asked the staff to please call me prior, with any out of pocket expenses, I would have to pay, for getting our teeth cleaned. I never received a phone call, so I thought everything was fine. My daughter and I went to have out teeth cleaned, the hygienist was great. Several days later after the appointment, I get a phone call that they do not accept my type of insurance plan and referred me back to the insurance company. After multiple phone calls, hours on the phone, I possibly figured out a solution, but still may have to pay out of pocket for this visit. It is a stressful situation that could have been avoided if they would have kindly done what I asked from the beginning.

I bring my daughter to this Dentist. Let me just say it was an overall amazing experience. Kevin, one of the assistants, was so kind and got along great with my daughter. He made her feel comfortable and laugh. Just an amazing person. And the head Dentist was absolutely amazing as well. Kept calm, talked my daughter through things, let her know everything will be okay. I definitely recommend this dentist to anyone looking for one themselves or for their child!

Friendly staff, very professional too. Very clean environment. Easy access to the place, I never have problems with parking but, it looks busy sometimes. I love to make myself a cup of coffee from their coffee machine. This place take care of adults too despite the business name (Dentistry 4 kids). 01/21/2019... Update... Still good!!!, I love it.

I absolutely love the hygienists that work here-they are amazingly enthusiastic, attentive, and make my little girls feel at ease throughout the entire process. The dentist and receptionists are great as well, but I love the extra attention from the hygienists and truly think they are going above and beyond!!! I don't ever have to wait very long and my daughters love to go because it is a fun experience for them. Thanks Dentistry 4 kids!! :)
