Dr. Elaine S. Martinez-Koziol is a native of Puerto Rico and earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) with distinguished honors at the American-accredited University of Puerto Rico. To pursue her special affinity for children, she served a residency in pediatric dentistry at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. This advanced training included infant dental care, oral and IV sedation, hospital dentistry, medically compromised children, and interceptive orthodontics.
Dr. Martinez-Koziol is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (board-certified). She is also an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Clay County Dental Society, the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the College of Diplomates of ABPD.
Our team members, both clinical and front office, are dedicated and experienced professionals. They work hard to ensure our practice runs smoothly, so we are able to provide each child and family with positive, fun, and worry-free dental visits.
Whether you have questions about a procedure, scheduling, or financials, or your child is feeling a bit apprehensive, our team is here and ready to help. Beyond their professional skills, each is warm and kind, compassionate, and gentle. They love earning a childs trust and with that, their bright and happy smile!
I love working within pediatrics and seeing all of our patients grow throughout the years. It is especially exciting to work in a field that is always evolving: I have seen so many wonderful changes in dentistry since 2005!
Angel handles our budget, purchasing and inventory, and building maintenance, along with special projects for the practice. Born and raised in Clay County, she met her husband, Christopher, in her junior year of high school. The couple has three children, Addison, Mallorie, and Christopher. The family enjoys their time together and being close to the water.
Cynthia enjoys her time with her husband, three children: Arianna, Matthew, Carlos and her fur baby Rambo. She loves weekend getaways with family and friends. She enjoys listening to all types of music. Music is the soundtrack to her Life.
Doris handles all things related to insurance, including verification, pre-determinations, and entering payments. She also reviews treatment plans, collects copays, handles the end-of-day deposits, and answers our phones. Doris moved to Florida from Maryland about 15 years ago. Her daughter, Avni, is active in high school sports. In addition to supporting her daughters activities, Doris enjoys time with friends and family and loves to travel.
Erika provides gentle cleanings and reviews home dental hygiene with patients and parents. She also assists with restorative work. When shes not taking care of smiles, Erika is enjoying time with her husband, Edgar, and her pet turtles, which are named after the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! The couple enjoys exploring, travels, learning about and trying new foods, walks along the beach, and staying in to watch movies.
Erin offers hygiene education for our patients and their families, as well as thorough and gentle cleanings. The mom of one son, Archie, she is great about helping children feel safe and encouraging them to develop good habits. Erin goes home in the evening to enjoy time with her significant other and Archie. A Filipino-American, Erin speaks both English and Bicolano. She loves cooking and sharing dishes from her culture with family and friends, especially when they gather for karaoke!
Kierra provides chairside treatment, always attentive to the childs comfort and needs. When shes not working, Kierra keeps busy: she enjoys rollerblading and going to the park with her family, along with watching and playing sports.
Leslie, our office manager, oversees all aspects of the office. She ensures that we are prepared to deliver the highest quality, personalized childrens dental care, and are consistently improving our customer service, too! When shes not keeping us organized, Leslie enjoys time with her fianc, family, and friends. She is an avid gardener and seeks relaxation anywhere there is sunshine, sand, and water!
Melissa offers dental hygiene care, assists with treatment, and teaches patients and parents how to keep growing smiles clean and healthy. Away from the office, Melissa spends much of her time with her fianc, Jonathan. They love exploring, going on adventures, gaming, dancing, karaoke, and eating good food. Melissa, who is Filipina, was born and raised in Jacksonville. She speaks both English and Tagalog.
Sonja provides hygiene education, cleanings, and lots of encouragement to patients and parents. Shes a mother and grandmother and really knows how to connect with kids in a non-threatening way, so they relax and feel safe. When shes not taking care of patients, Sonja enjoys time with her two beautiful daughters, Brandie and Jocelyn, and her four incredible grandchildren.
As our lead dental assistant, Tina oversees all aspects of our back office, managing patient flow, organization, and handling our clinical inventory. Most of Tinas free time is spent with her family. She and her husband, Cris, were high school sweethearts. Now they have four children: Colleen, Carly, Caylee, and Collin, as well as a family dog, Shadow. Weekend hours are spent at the ball park, watching the kids play softball, baseball, and football.
At Dentistry 4 Children & Teens 2, Dr. Martinez and our team understand the importance of providing every child with painless, worry-free, and positive dental visits. By establishing comfort in the dental office, we help children grow up empowered to take care of their smiles!
We provide specialized dentistry for infants, toddlers, children, teens, and youth with special health and developmental needs. Our focus on preventive care, patient and parent education, and lots of positive encouragement, helps our patients grow a healthy smile that will last a lifetime!
Beyond her knowledge and skills, Dr. Martinez is kind, patient, and compassionate. As a mother, she excels at connecting with children on their level and in a non-threatening manner. At the same time, she understands the concerns of parents and is always attentive to your wishes and concerns.

I highly recommend this pediatric dental clinic. All of the staff were super friendly and kind. Her dentist Dr. Martinez and her assistant Ms. Erin are awesome and did an excellent job cleaning our daughter's teeth. She really loved her experience here. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great dentist in Fleming Island!

I love this office! They are always so helpful and patient with my four year old daughter. She can be very nervous and stand-offish in these types of situations. They always work so well with her and ensure she is comfortable. I appreciate their care and understanding nature.

Just relocated to Fleming Island and I was looking for a pediatric dentist for my girls and was recommended this office by multiple people. They were kind, friendly and very welcoming! The front desk was amazing!! Dr. Martinez was very friendly and the hygienist was wonderful as well! They explained everything they were doing to not only me but to my daughter so she felt at ease. I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Martinez is very knowledgeable & wonderful with children! She truly cares about her patients & their family's needs. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly as well! The theme of the office is an underwater world of wonder & makes you feel like you've stepped into a Disney theme park...from the waiting room to the dental rooms, it's incredible and my son just loves it! I wish I was young enough to be a patient here! Highly recommend!

I was very nervous about my 7 year old with Autism get dental work done, but the staff there and anesthesiologist were truly amazing! I was comforted and very well informed of everything. They took very good care of my son and I am truly thankful!!!

Dr. Martinez and her staff have been seeing my daughter since she was 2 weeks old. Having a baby born with her two bottom teeth is not something I was anticipating. Dr. Martinez and her entire staff have always been the absolute best with my daughter and has always made us feel comfortable and valued. The quality of care that Dr. Martinez and her staff gives to each patient is top notch. I am blessed to have been referred to Dr. Martinez by my pediatrician and can not thank her and her staff enough for all they do (and have done) for my daughter for the past 7 years. They treat us like family and that is truly priceless. :)

I have an 8 and 13 year old. Since they were 4 and 9 they've been seen consistently by Dr. Martinez. She is so patient and informative; and has a staff like no other to assist with information, ideas of how to incorporate healthier habits, compassion, and I could go on and on....The point I'm trying to make is Dr. Martinez knows her stuff. She knows how to talk to people and my kids adore her! The staff is just as amazing and nothing shy of perfect! The office is welcoming and fascinating for kids which is important!! She has it figured out and I would never settle for anything less than the quality of care that comes from this business and the people within! I appreciate it so much!!

My daughter had a great first dentist appointment! The staff was super friendly and really kind towards her. She is only 1 so she didn't want to stay still, but they were fast and efficient in taking care of her. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!

I seriously not say enough how amazing this whole denitst office team is! We just moved away and i am so sad that we had to leave but they are all hands down the most amazing team ever they are so kind and so patient with my son who suffers from anxiety and freaks out. They take their time with him and do everything to make sure not only him but also the parent feel great about their visit here. They truley care about each and every patient!
