Dr. Sokolik grew up in Mount Prospect and currently lives in Arlington Heights with his fianc Michelle and daughter Riley. Dr. Sokolik received his DMD from Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine in 2013. After practicing in the Chicago area for the past five years, Dr. Sokolik yearned for a location to provide state of the art, relationship-based, comprehensive care, with an emphasis on general and cosmetic dentistry. He wants to provide a dental home that is meant to fit the lives and values of his patients. Providing care to the satisfaction, expectation, and comfort of every patient is a value shared by Dr. Sokolik and his team. Dr. Sokolik is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in the disciplines of oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics. His experience and dedication to being a life-long learner gives Dr. Sokolik the knowledge and expertise to provide quality dental care. Dr. Sokolik is a people person and values time spent with friends and family. He loves spending time with his large family, his fiance Michelle, daughter Riley, and Michelles large family. Dr. Sokolik is an avid fisherman and outdoorsman who enjoys getting away from the hustle and bustle of city life when he can. Dr. Sokolik very much looks forward to meeting you in person. I had a great experience! The hygienist Candice was very thorough and nice to me. The dentist Dr. Athar took her time with the exam and patiently explained everything to me. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a new dentist or wanting to get Invisalign, then look no further. I had the best experience I've ever had getting dental work done - it was actually enjoyable being there! Their assistants were extremely gentle, one in particular being Ella, so I was able to feel more relaxed throughout the process. She made me feel so incredibly comfortable and I am happy to say that I will be a lifelong patient.

A lot of good things to be said about South Barrington Dental. From the very beginning they have been Professional, polite and very informative. My teeth are nice and healthy, with that said I'm a happy camper. Not to mention their facility is nice and clean. Highly recommend this place!

Dr. Sokolik is so knowledgeable, the gentlest, most caring, accommodating, and cheerful dentist I have ever been to in my 75 years. He also does great work, and I just can't recommend him enough. His staff is exceptional. Do yourself a favor and pay him and his staff a visit.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I have been scared to go to the Dentist for a long time because of my past experiences. A few years ago I had to make a decision and find a Dentist because I was in pain and needed some work done. Dr. Steve and his team are amazing!! He runs down all the details and makes me feel comfortable before working in my mouth. His follow up calls definitely puts the icing on the cake. Dr. Steve genuinely cares about our health. Let's talk about the gate keepers, Jackie, Beth, Ari, Leslie and Ella; these ladies create the atmosphere that soothes you before the actual work starts. Each time I walk in the office they make me feel good about choosing to go to the dentist. Their customer service is on point and they make sure they speak and engage in conversation with me. The hygienist's Jenny and Candice I've only seen a couple of times and they are amazing as well. Shout out to Ella for always making me feel comfortable in the chair, to Beth for always cheering for me and to Jackie for her follow up texts messages and making sure I understand my payment plan. For so long I have been searching for a place where I can get the majority of the work that's needed in one place. I am excited to be a part of this dental family and grateful for this entire team at South Barrington Dental Care. I now choose to go to the dentist OnPurpose!!!!

This office was amazing! It was clean and the office staff was very friendly. They went out of their way to explain to us the benefits of their membership in full detail and took time during our services to explain to us everything that was going on in our mouths! We left feeling very clean and educated about our oral health.

Had amazing veneers done by Dr. Fedyna several years ago, and always loved his staff! I was nervous to return after he sadly passed away, but the new doctor, Dr. Sokolik, is great and works well with people who have some dental anxiety (like myself)! Jenny, the hygienist was gentle and considerate, I know I am not the easiest patient but she really did her best to accommodate me and make me feel comfortable! Thank you for the great experience!

I love this place! Let me start out by saying how awesome the employees are. They are warm, welcoming, and just all-around fun to be around. Let's face it, dentist can be a scary thing. These people make it feel like you're going on a picnic. After years of being at another dentist we switched over to this place. They gave my fiance an amazing smile. This place is a must try, highly recommend!
