Dr. OMalley graduated from the SUNY University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, New York. His postgraduate General Practice Residency training was completed at St. Josephs Hospital and Health Center in Syracuse, New York.
Dr. OMalley is a graduate of Villanova University in business administration and is a member of the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Upstate Study Club and the Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity. Additionally, he completed training through the Dawson Academy in 2018. As a Dawson-trained dentist, Dr. OMalley offers a unique and comprehensive approach to your dental care. The Dawson Academy principles of complete dentistry take into consideration all aspects of oral health, enabling Dr. OMalley to address complex concerns often related to the function and comfort of the bite. From malocclusion to TMJ disorders, Dr. OMalley has the advanced training needed to offer comprehensive diagnostics and treatment for the enjoyment of lifelong dental health and wellness.
Outside of the office, his interests include golf, ice hockey, biking, hiking, water sports, music, reading and church endeavors. Dr. OMalley also participates in an annual dental/medical mission trip to San Pedro, Guatemala, known as Project San Pedro.
With a degree in social work from James Madison University, fluency in Spanish, and a professional background in nonprofit organization and outside sales, Chelsea brings an excellent and unique skill set to her role as office manager. She loves building strong relationships with our incredible patients. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys playing volleyball, throwing pottery, hiking, biking, going to Church activities, spending time with family and friends, and exploring the great things Upstate South Carolina has to offer. She has even accompanied Dr. OMalley on his annual medical mission to Guatemala as an interpreter.
Prior to settling in Simpsonville, South Carolina, Tanya lived in Cape Coral Florida and outside of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. She graduated from IDT with her expanded functions dental assistant and radiology certificate in 2016. Tanya is a great asset to our team, and she makes all of our patients feel welcome with her radiant personality. She takes the time to get to know our patients so everyone feels welcome. Tanya has over six years of treatment planning experience and uses this knowledge to assist our patients in making the best decision regarding their oral health. When not at work, Tanya enjoys spending time with her son, Cole, and playing board games. She is an active member of her church and enjoys helping others.

I would like to say that this is the best experience with a dentist ever!! I really enjoy how thorough and detail oriented they are and I must say that my teeth feel better than they have in years. I look forward to completing the regimen they are coordinating for me!!

Highly recommendation this office. The staff as well as the doctor are wonderful. They treat you as if you are family and take the time to make sure you're comfortable .They explain everything in a way that you can understand each step in your treatment. This is the first time I've ever looked forward to seeing a dentist and finally having a great smile!

My last experience with the office was fine. Everyone seemed nice and the hygienist did a good job cleaning my teeth. Dr. O'Malley is an excellent dentist.

David & I clean O'Malley Dental and I recently decided to make O'Malley Dental my dentist because my previous dentist retired. I chose O'Malley because I was extremley impressed by the services he provides and the warm, inviting atmosphere he works in. Everyone that works there is so friendly and professional and I would recommend Dr. O'Malley and his crew to anyone that is in need of a good dental team. GO O'MALLEY TEAM!!!!!!

I have been a patient at O'Malley Dental since 2018 and have always received great customer service. Dr. O'Malley or the hygienist informed me of each procedure in detail, which ease any anxiety I may have prior to the service! I really appreciate the kindness and personable service I have received at O'Malley Dental. If you live in or moving to the Simpsonville/Greenville, SC area, I highly recommend Dr. Ryan O'Malley and his staff! I have moved out of the area; however, I recently drove 1 1/2 hours (yes with these gas prices) to receive great customer service!

We recently moved to Duncan SC and I was searching for a dentist in this area. Yesterday was my first visit with Dr.O'Malley. I have found my dentist! I have never enjoyed a dental visit more-the entire office staff is very welcoming and made me feel right at home. Dr.O'Malley is excellent-he went over my x-rays and exam very carefully-answering any questions and addressing concerns. I am impressed at the wide range of options I can take with my teeth including just maintaining good hygiene. There is no high pressure sales here just recommended options. Everyone in the office is very kind. However when asked about getting an additonal service (fluoride) I did not agree to it. After it was done I found out it wasn't covered by my insurance.Be sure to get clarification from all parties. I also asked for an extra floss that I did not receive.

Dr. O'Malley is a little OCD on getting his work just right, which is what I want in a dentist and he does it in a relaxed and professional way. I recommend him highly. He puts me at ease because I know he's taking care of me. His staff is tops and I appreciate how welcome they make me feel. Super nice people.
