Dr. Wagar attended the University of Redlands in southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Wagar is passionate about dentistry and striving to provide the most up-to-date technology and procedures for his patients. He routinely takes more than twice the required amount of continuing education hours in our state. He has a particular interest in the placement and restoration of dental implants. Following many hours of post-graduate advanced training, he earned Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, one of the pre-eminent dental implant organizations in the world. This designation is awarded to dentists who have committed themselves to advanced training and have shown a high level of skill and judgment.

I have been in the dental field for 14 years, and have been with the Benson Hill Smiles team since 2018. My goal is to make sure our patients have a positive experience in our office. Im truly grateful to work with such an amazing and knowledgeable team! Outside the office I enjoy family gatherings, getaways to Arizona, and road trips to new places!
Ive been working in dentistry for over 22 years, and in this office since 2018. I have a very outgoing and bubbly personality, and really enjoy providing our patients with a comfortable and personalized visit. Outside the office I enjoy golfing, wine tasting, concerts, and spending time with my husband Paul. I also really enjoy animals, and often dog sit for clients on the weekends!
Ive worked at Benson Hill Smiles since 2002, and I really enjoy the relationships Ive built with our patients. I enjoy working with our experienced team and the technology we have in the office to help provide the best care for our patients. Im married and have two boys. In my spare time I like to cook and hike.
Ive been a part of the team since 2009. My favorite part of my job is meeting new people and building lasting relationships. Its very important to me that my patients have a comfortable experience every time. My husband Le and I have two children. We like travel and spend time with family and friends. Our favorite vacation spot is Cancun!

Brenda always the best dental hygienist for me; she is very professional and courteous to me for more than 20 years until now! Highest recommendation to Dr Eric Wagar and everyone at Benson Hills Smiles @ Renton, Washington . My previous dentist retired before the "Lockdown" so I was transferred to a new dentist , Dr Eric Wagar. I made my first appointment for "cleaning " got scared because of the COVID19 so I decided to cancel. After 3 months, I made an appointment again and asked questions on how they protect their patients. So on my first visit, I was impressed with the way I was treated and how the clinic followed the guidelines of COVID19. Took my dad there for a toothache. He lives in assisted living due to Dementia. The ladies at the front desk were very nice - one even met us at the door to welcome us. So sweet! They ended up not being able to help him, other than antibiotics, but they referred him across the parking lot.
