Along with their front desk and administrative staff, hygienists and associate dentists, Drs. Silman are dedicated to providing not only caring treatment, but also education on the best way to maintain dental health. They were each recognized with the Top Dentists Award from the Consumers Research Council of America. They also received a Special Recognition from the U.S. Congress for their outstanding services to their community.
In addition to spending time with their children and other family, the Silmans enjoy supporting worthwhile projects that improve life in nearby communities. This support includes donations to local schools, team sports organizations and the Ronald McDonald House.
Dr. Diaz is a Native New Yorker raised on Staten Island. Because he is fluent in both Spanish and English, he expands the capability of Drs. Silmans Smile Spas to treat those whose only language is Spanish.
He completed his dental training at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Virginia and then moved to New Jersey for his General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. During his residency, he gained valuable experience in oral surgery, endodontics and providing crowns and bridges. He also had the opportunity to learn how to meet the needs of medically compromised patients.
In both his undergraduate and professional work, Dr. Diaz has learned how much joy can come from serving those patients who, because of poverty or remote location, have no access to proper dental care. He has donated his time to both the Mission of Mercy Projects in Virginia and The Jamaica Project which organizes professional support for rural communities in Jamaica.

Dr. Inna took me as an emergency patient at the last minute on a holiday night, Halloween 10-31-22. She completed a full root canal to terminate my excruciating pain and put all my ease of worry to rest. I thought I was getting a cavity filled because she was so gentle, efficient and timely. Before I realized, the procedure was over and I was free of pain. I was so grateful for her, taking me as an emergency patient and finishing the procedure in one visit!! She is so friendly and willing to take time to answer all your questions and you never feel rushed as a patient. Every time I've ever had a procedure by her she finishes with perfection.

It was my first visit to Silman Smile Spa and I really liked it. It was easy to get an appointment (for a new patient), reception staff was kind and informative, there was almost no waiting and the best part were the doctors. They took time to explain everything . I was so impressed after my check up that I took appointment for my husband and kids check up as well and they too liked the services.

Excellent staff and dentist. The dental hygienist was respectful, thoughtful, soft, delicate touch and a most delightful person. Dr Inna Silman is great. She puts her patients at ease. Gives the patient an informative evaluation and assessment. My family & I have been patients for over a decade. Despite our hour drive we are very happy with this practice and will continue our dental health care with Dr Inna Silman.

We have been using Silman Smile Spa for years, they are amazing. My husband had a terrible unnatural fear of the dentist and they handle him with kitten gloves. They have nursed and catered to him, that a man who was even afraid to receive a cleaning at the dentist now has a mouthful of new teeth. I would highly recommend Silman Smile Spa to anyone who asks and I have. Countless friends and family have reached out to Drs. Silman and are now thankful patients as well.

Jackie's the best hygienist I've ever had because she's always so cheerie with the cherry toothpaste she uses to clean my teeth with. I'm always in & out with her in no time because she's a true highly qualified professional who knows her job inside & out!!! I always look forward to getting my teeth cleaned by her & I want her to keep up the good work!!!

Doctor Alex is the greatest dentist I've had in my life time thus far.I put my total trust in him. Keeps my teeth in great shape evey time I see him. If I have an emergency , he's there. And, he's referred me to a great oral dentist too. Been going to Dr Silman 17 years now. I referred so many people to him and will continue doing so.

Great caring staff. Minimal discomfort. Highly recommended. On my second trip to the office, i got lucky & had the man himself, Dr. Silman work on me. It hurts more to floss than having Dr. Silman fix a cavity.

Excellent. Always so friendly and accommodating. They do excellent work, never keep you waiting long, and accept UFT benefits (for any fellow NYC teachers out there). They are wonderful with children as well. After bouncing around a bit to find the right dentist, this is the office I will be sticking with for the whole family as long as they are around. Cannot praise them enough.

From the first time I hesitantly called the office, I was put at ease by Oni. She made the whole necessary documentation process stress free. Followed by Angel Hands Anna (Hygienist) she took X-rays, cleaned my teeth, had a preliminary summary ready for Dr. Inna in no time, and PAIN FREE! Finally, met Dr. Inna Silman that proceeded to professionally check my pearly whites & explain expert course of action. I was so impressed that I already referred my daughter. This was an AWESOME experience, this a HUGE compliment coming from someone that was married to a NYC dentist for 19 yrs!
