Along with their front desk and administrative staff, hygienists and associate dentists, Drs. Dr. Diaz is a Native New Yorker raised on Staten Island. Because he is fluent in both Spanish and English, he expands the capability of Drs. Silmans Smile Spas to treat those whose only language is Spanish.
He completed his dental training at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Virginia and then moved to New Jersey for his General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. During his residency, he gained valuable experience in oral surgery, endodontics and providing crowns and bridges. He also had the opportunity to learn how to meet the needs of medically compromised patients.
In both his undergraduate and professional work, Dr. Diaz has learned how much joy can come from serving those patients who, because of poverty or remote location, have no access to proper dental care. He has donated his time to both the Mission of Mercy Projects in Virginia and The Jamaica Project which organizes professional support for rural communities in Jamaica.

I was skeptical because I had a great dentist, Dr. Osborn of Linden Dental, for over 25 years who retired last year. The new owners could not measure up in any way so we left Linden Dental. We decided to give Smiles a try, and my wife and I were pleasantly surprised after our first cleaning visit. Very nice folks. Gentle cleaning with minimal pain. The dentist seems very knowledgeable, and they have competitive pricing options for folks like us without insurance. We go back next week for some additional work. So far I recommend this place. Update; We no longer go there because they push procedures we did not actually require. Perhaps our expectations are high after 25 years of Dr. Osborn. 2022- I have to downgrade my initial 5 star rating. They sent us to another dentist and he charged us $500 for a test that American does for $70 plus you get eyeglasses. They ripped us off, so we fired them and found a better dentist, Dr.O!

One in Long Branch and one in Manalapan From the first time I went, for a cleaning, and having had a real professional hygienist, I knew I met a group of very highly trained professionals. I had been in offices prior to Smiles on Broadway, and the hygienists, many of them, don't have the proper experience, because they are not able to clean deeply enough to do the job correctly . That's changed, now that I go to Smiles on Broadway. I have had other treatments there, as well. The doctors Really know what they are doing, and they're very attentive and the doctors genuinely care about you, as do the receptionists at the front desk. Not a good experience with Dr, Ina Silman. She is not a painless dentist. She had to give me Novocain three times. She actually got angry as she went into another room and yelling very loud in Russian. The whole experience was just messed up. The front staff are a bunch of knuckleheads too.

my experience was not good, Dr. Inna has a super heavy hand, and besides that I started a canal that I finally had to pull my tooth out of! I think she pierced the tooth canal. I do not recommend it! I went to treat my tooth not to find out after a week that I would have to pull it out!

Im actually doing my Invisalign process with Dra. Inna and I couldn't expect more. She is willing to hear and break down all the procedures, as well as give good recommendations to go thru the process easily. I'm more than happy with her and team. I highly recommend them.

Dra. Inna and her team overcame my expectations. She really care about my teeth and smile with the most recent technology and process. She explained to me all the procedures and while she was in the process, she was asking me how I was feeling. She also gave to me all the recommendations and following steps to go on. I recommend her 100%, plus they follow all health protocols.

Dr Alex is AMAZING!!!! He's fixed so many dental issues I have had and he has had to get quite creative fixing these issues! I live 35 mins from the office and I don't mind at all traveling because Dr Alex and is wife are amazing! I recommend them to everyone!! The front desk staff is very friendly and the hygienists and the assistants are fantastic also!

So I've probably been the biggest pain of a patient ... Dentists terrify me. Dr inna Silman (and staff) have been so patient with me. Sorry for being annoying, but thank you for being so patient and helpful. She's def a no bs dentist which is a good thing for people like myself. I had issue earlier in the summer but that was not Dr. Inna or any of the drs listed on her card (I'm not quite sure who she was). Other than that person, I'd recommend this place to anyone . Thank you.

Had appointment today. When I got to office they said they can't see me cause there's only one doctor that takes my insurance and that doctor was not there. They offered me to pay full price to be seen. Why would anyone do that if they have insurance. Guess it is to get you In the office. I will not go back to the office. Be prepared for long wait times to be seen and trying to see you and not take insurance. I will find a new dentist that is more professional and handles scheduling better.
