After growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Calvo got his first job working in a bank where he discovered banking was not for him. He then graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, before being accepted to the UCLA School of Dentistry. After achieving his DDS, he moved to Las Vegas to continue his training at the University of Nevada School of Medicine Advanced Dental Residency program. In this program, he received extensive training in advanced dental procedures including implant placement, oral surgery techniques and cosmetic dentistry. He began practicing in 2006.
'I have a passion for all aspects of dentistry, says Dr. Calvo. I am dedicated to delivering a high quality of care and service to all my patients. Many people have a negative impression about dental visits. I enjoy being able to improve my patients oral health and smiles while also changing their outlook on dental care by providing a more positive and enjoyable experience.
Dr. Abalos grew up in the shadow of Disneyland in Southern California. Its not surprising, then, to learn that her first job was at the world-famous theme park. She then attended the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating in 2009 with a degree in psychobiology. She went on to complete her dental education at the UNLV School of Dental Medicine and has been practicing since 2009.
Ive wanted to be a dentist for as long as I can remember, says Dr. Abalos. My dad grew up in a country where people had their teeth pulled whenever there was a problem with them. Saving teeth was a luxury. My dad ended up with dentures and always said, If I knew this is what dentures would be like, I would have tried to keep my teeth. This motivated me to become an excellent dentist; I can help my patients keep their teeth, gums and mouths healthy so they can save their teeth.
Dr. Kori grew up in India watching her mother, an endodontist, provide care for patients. Dr. Kori saw how grateful patients were to get relief from their pain. She decided she wanted to provide the same relief for patients.

For a person who hates going to the dentist, Dr. Julian and staff made it difficult to hate my experience. From the Netflix playing in the background to the friendly faces I felt in good hands which helped calm my nerves. My concerns were taken seriously and overall great procedures, great results without complications. I hope to not have to come back so often but I know when I do I'll be okay. Thank you!

Best experience with a dentist's came in for a tooth infection and ended up finding out lots of stuff I was not aware of ! Dr.julian and assistance Halley did an amazing job on my root canal and informing on subjects i was not aware of !

Sorry in advance, this is a Karen rant. I'm hoping to help someone avoid a bad experience for something I know many people experience anxiety with. Sunbrite dental: (This is long so bear with me ) I specifically chose this dentist because I was told by their office they do sedation. I Arrived to my appointment 10 mins early, was greeted. There was another patients paperwork in my packet. It took about 20 mins to go to the back. I'm asked about the implant I want and I told her I never asked or wanted one. She then asks if I want my tooth extracted. I told her I never did and on my paperwork it says i would like as little work as possible. The girl tells me I need a profile photo for my chart ( not x ray )to start and I tell her I'm declining. She looks very confused and tells me that I have to. I ask if it's mandatory and she says it's recommended. I tell her no thank you. She gets her supervisor who comes in and tells me I cannot decline and I have to leave if I won't take the picture. I have anxiety so naturally I was flustered and the front office was laughing at me while giving dirty looks. The doctor barely spoke to me and told me nothing about what was wrong with my teeth and then left. She also diagnosed me with gingivitis without taking into account the extent or having any knowledge of my connective tissue disease which also causes tooth decay and more prone to cavities and other issues. I specifically asked for a doctor that has knowledge of this to receive proper care. Granted I am not a dentist, but with my CDS, I have inflammation in several parts of my body which could have likely been the culprit. Afterwards,I sat in a room where they tell me my dental will be $2000 for a cleaning, 10 fillings, and a crown. I asked how much extra for the sedation and she tells me she doesent do that. So I've wasted 2 hours sitting here for nothing and I'm going to have to see someone else that can actually take care of my needs. This office has great reviews and I'm shocked. This place is so unprofessional it's unbelievable. Do not trust these people. To top it off I got a second opinion, and the cleaning they wanted to do they were double dipping the insurance and charging me which I will be reporting.

I absolutely love Sunbrite Dental!!! I had a really bad experience as a child with going to the dentist, and avoided the dentist until now(about 15 yrs.). Here at Sunbrite they actually care about you as a person. With everything they do they explain it. They ask if you are okay and want you to let them know if there is any pain. I have never been to a dentist that cares this much. They are absolutely amazing and have helped me not to fear the dentist.
