I have been Keiths chairside dental assistant since 2002. I enjoy the challenge of the varied treatments we deliver to our patients. Outside of work I enjoy working out and working in my vegetable and flower gardens. I love spending time with family and watching my daughters play softball and basketball.
I received my dental assisting certificate in 2010 from Ross Medical. One of my most enjoyable experiences has been getting to know our patients and their families and following in their care. While my two kids keep me busy, I enjoy bowling, swimming and anything that takes me and my family outdoors.
I am a 1987 graduate of the Dental Hygiene program at KVCC. I am certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. I attend frequent post graduate continuing education seminars and have an associate fellowship with the world laser Institute. Ive worked in this office since graduating over 30 years ago and enjoy the relationships Ive made with each and every patient as well as helping them achieve optimal oral health. Outside of work I enjoy quilting, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and biking.
A 1981 graduate of the University of Michigans Dental School, Keith has taken numerous and varied continuing education seminars and has been trained to use the latest dental technology including the Sirona CEREC Crown/Inlay CAD/CAM System. Keiths been a member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association since his first year in dental school and was co-editor of the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Societys quarterly journal.
Keith has written articles for the MDA Journal and other publications on the issue of professional ethics, given talks on professional ethics and maintains an ongoing interest and involvement in the field of dental ethics. He was Chairman of the Kalamazoo Investigational Review Board, which oversaw drug research conducted at Westside Medical Center.
When not in the office, Keith enjoys biking, fly fishing for trout and birdwatching. Hes a past board member of the American Civil Liberties Union and he belongs to the Southwest Michigan Land Conservancy, the Kalamazoo Audubon Society, Trout Unlimited, Anglers of The Au Sable, and numerous other organizations.
