As I got older, I became more and more fascinated with oral health and the importance the mouth had on the health of the human body as a whole. After high school, I decided that I wanted to learn as much as possible about the mouth and teeth so I could improve peoples smile and help educate them so that they can hopefully keep their teeth for their whole life! As my passion grew and I graduated dental school, I began to see and help as many patients as I could.
Dr. Amir H. Jamsheed is a leading dentist practicing at Encino Dental Studio, located on Ventura Boulevard in Encino, California and serving Tarzana, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Van Nuys, North Hollywood and surrounding areas. Dr. Jamsheed provides a wide variety of dental services including orthodontic treatments such as Invisalign, dental implants, veneers, crowns, teeth whitening, root canals, oral surgeries, emergency dental services, and treatment for sleep apnea. Dr. Jamsheed is dedicated to his patients and takes the time to ensure they understand their dental health and what they can do to prevent tooth decay and damage. His goal is to help his patients keep their teeth for a lifetime and educates his patients on the importance of regular visits.
Dr. Jamsheed is a Southern California native, born and raised in Torrance, California. While pursuing his undergraduate degree from UCLA, Dr. Jamsheed was the recipient of three different scholarships. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2002. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of Southern California in 2006 with multiple Deans List honors. Dr. Jamsheed is a current member of the ADA, CDA, and Kern county Dental Society.
Dr. Jamsheed is committed to delivering the highest quality care to his patients. In addition to his formal education, Dr. Jamsheed continuously furthers his knowledge of dentistry by attending continuing education seminars. His experience, caring personality, and dedication, as well as his in-depth understanding of todays technology, allow Dr. Jamsheed to offer the latest dental care to his patients while keeping in mind affordability for all treatments. In his free time, Dr. Jamsheed loves to spend time with his amazing wife and 3 kids, hiking, and playing basketball.

I've been a patient of Dr. Amir's and been going to Encino Dental Studio for many years. It is so hard to find a good dentist and hygienist that is caring, honest and doesn't over charge; a dental office that makes making appointments easy and send you much needed reminders. This office/staff is just that! You can trust their integrity, their skills and experiences, their availability (they offer extended hours and are open on Saturday's which is such a big plus). I highly recommend Encino Dental Studio for all your dental needs!

Love this office! Dr Amir is so gentle and kind. He is very patient and professional with all his patients. My son is doing orthodontics with him and I'm so grateful for the amazing service. This is the best dentist in Los Angeles by far. Dr. Amir is professional, kind, reasonable in price, and provides top of the line care. I have gotten fillings, root canals, and a deep cleaning at this office and have been very happy with the work. The office is beautiful too and the staff are friendly. They also are open on Saturdays which is always nice. Couldn't recommend them more!

Dr Jamsheed has been my wife's and my own dentist for several years. All I can say is that Dr. Jamsheed always provides the best treatment possible for your specific dental needs. Beautiful office! Dr. Amir is amazing at extractions. I had 4 very painful wisdom teeth and he was able to remove them quickly with very minimal discomfort. I cannot thank Encino Dental enough for the awesome customer service and care they gave me.
