Greater Baden Medical Services receives U.S. Department of Health and Human Services funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
Prior to Greater Baden, Ms. Bachus was Chief Operating Officer at HealthNet, Inc. overseeing the day-to-day operations of the states largest federally qualified health center. Sonja has more than 17 years of experience in health care operations management.
Sonja holds a bachelors degree in business administration from Washburn University and a master of jurisprudence in health law from Loyola Law School. Sonja has also earned the distinction of Fellow, Community Health Center Executive Management; completing the program in the fellowships inaugural cohort.
Chris DeMarco is a leader with over 27 years of healthcare experience including 11 years of strategic consulting to FQHCs and 12 years in FQHC operations. Prior to assuming a role as Chief Administrative Officer, Chris served as the interim Chief Executive Officer at Greater Baden Medical Services. In his interim capacity, he led a turnaround effort highlighted by a reduction of cost and enhanced revenue within six months without any staff reduction.
Chris holds a bachelor of arts degree in religion from Bucknell University. He also received his masters and doctorate degrees from Syracuse Universitys School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. In addition, Chris holds an MBA in Business of Medicine from John Hopkins Universitys Carey School of Business.
