Dr. Dokhanchi, Best Dentist Aurora attended San Francisco State University for undergraduate studies and Loyola Universitys Chicago College of Dental Surgery for his graduate work. He earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with clinical honors in 1992. He practiced in Schaumburg before starting at Fox Valley Dental Care in 1993. He also volunteered his time at St. Basils Dental Clinic and LaGrange Community Nurse and Service Associations Dental Division in the past. Dr. Dokhanchi attends numerous continuing education courses every year in order to stay current with the latest techniques and technology in the world of dentistry. He considers Ethics, Quality, Safety, and Comfort the pillars of his dental practice and believes that communicating with patients is essential to quality dental care. Dr. Dokhanchi has a license in good standing to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois (#019-023025) and the state of California (# 53501).
Dr. John Micaletti takes great pride and care in treating his patients. He attended Loyola University where he completed his graduate degree; he became a doctor of dental surgery in 1987. In 1994, he received a certificate in periodontics, at Northwestern University in Chicago, and a masters of science.
Dr. Micaletti believes strongly in continuing education to ensure that he can offer his patients the latest treatment options. He has completed many courses on dental implants, advanced bone grafting, and soft tissue grafting. He prides himself on maintaining the highest standards of care.
Dr. John Micaletti places great importance on patient comfort. He ensures that his patients are relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Micaletti stresses patient education and will work to make sure you fully understand all treatment options. He prides himself on offering alternatives and answering questions in a calm, non-pressured environment. He is concerned and compassionate about his patients well-being and will address any issues that you might have regarding treatment.
Jordan has been with the practice since 2002. She graduated from Prairie State College and is a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Illinois. At our practice, Jordan is responsible for performing routine cleanings, preventative procedures, and periodontal (gum) therapy. Jordan holds a certificate in administering local anesthetic and is known by many of our patients to give painless shots! Jordan is an asset to our practice and has become irreplaceable.
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Iowa with a BA in English. She decided to follow her Dads footsteps and enter the field of Dentistry. She completed her hygiene training at Kirkwood Community College in 2013. She has worked as a licensed dental hygienist in the Chicago area for 5 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and paddle boarding.
Isabel has over 10 years of experience in the dental field. She was hired as a dental assistant but was promoted to the role of office manager shortly after. She is honest, dedicated and hard working. She can answer all your questions, clinical and financial. Isabel is from Aurora and still lives here with her family.
Perla was hired as a temporary worker to help us transition to our current digital paperless office. She impressed us so much that we hired her on a permanent basis after a week. In only a few short years, she has grown to become one of the most important and reliable employees at our office. She is the first smiling face you will see when you come to our office. She can answer all your questions regarding insurance coverage and almost everything else in our office.
Jasmine and Melissa are our two dedicated dental assistants and have many years of experience as a dental assistant. They will assist the doctors at every step of the procedure and can answer all your questions during and after the procedure. They are very vital to the clinical aspect of our office. They are both very talented and very professional.
Dr. Dokhanchi joined long-time Aurora dentist and resident Dr. Edward Logman and Fox Valley Dental Care Aurora in 1993 after graduating from Loyola University Dental school. In 2001, he became the sole provider after Dr. Logmans retirement. In 2011, another long-time Aurora dentist and resident, Dr. James Maminga, merged his practice with Dr. Dokhanchis practice before retiring later that year. We take pride and are proud with the trust these two long-time dentists have shown in Dr. Dokhanchi to provide quality care to their patients.
In 2015, Dr. Dokhanchi purchased two business condos on the West-side of Aurora and began the construction of our state-of-the-art facility. After a year of construction and making sure this new facility was equipped with every possible technological advances and amenities, Dr. Dokhanchi moved the practice to our new location in October of 2016. Dr. Dokhanchi feels that this new facility is better equipped to ensure we van provide quality dentistry at the highest level along with patient safety and comfort. We appreciate the thorough and clear and warm care we always get from Dr. Bob, Jordan, and all the staff at Fox Valley Dental. We drive from far away because an excellent dentist is hard to find!

I have been going to Dr Bob for years and never and I mean never had a bad experience. Dr Bob and Jordan are my favorite two ever. So here it is 2021 and I'm still with Dr Bob, he's the best dentist ever!!!! Although he has killed drinking coffee , it has all been for the best.

We love Dr. Bob and how well he takes care of me and my family. Not only is he a great dentist with QUALITY work but his staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. Everyone at the office makes you feel comfortable since the moment you walk in and makes sure you understand everything that's going on. I would highly recommend Dr. Bob to any family member/close friend because I trust him and his work! You'll never not know what's going on with every visit you have here. Thank you so much Dr. Bob!!!

Update Saturday, August 20: I don't know how many years later? No more massage chair, but who cares. Dr. Bob has come a long way in getting the latest technology. Everytime I come in, there's the latest and greatest. Today I had a crown appointment and he found a deep hidden cavity. He took care of it then and there with the crown. I mean he keeps getting better at his craft. I still highly recommend. I added the 5th star today. They have a good flow/vibe going. Lovely office. It has a spa-like quality to it and impeccably clean. And they have massage chairs you can keep on during your dental work. Wot in tarnation? Pretty kewl. IMHO, I believe his work is amazing. And I've been to enough dentists to know this and keep coming back. He showed me my teeth before, during and after with a series of photos, which is great when you have a mouth full of problems. I was told to just sit and wait without checking-in as soon as I walked in. Not sure if they were having a bad day or what... But will update rating in the future if that improves.

I highly recommend Fox Valley Dental Care. Dr. Bob and his entire staff do such an amazing job every single time. They're all so friendly and welcoming! Such a clean office, they work around your schedule to get you in as soon as you need to and you know the job has been done correctly because Dr. Bob and his staff did it. I've been going here 10+ years and will never change dentist. Thank you Fox Valley Dental for all that you do and keep it up! P.S. I love all the updated technology that keeps getting added to the office because I know I'm getting my money's worth for my teeth.

The staff and doctor found space for me after I had a crown pop off. I travel in my RV full time and it is difficult to find a dentist on the road. In less than 90 minutes I was all finished and my crown was cemented tightly. Highly recommend. Plus great office music!!!!

Fox Valley dental care is a great dentist office. Dr. Dokhanchi Keeps up on technology developments in the field [e.g. cutting edge x-ray and scanner machines and in-house crown making]. However what is more important is that he puts the interest of the patient first. He will recommend what is best for you and takes cost into account. You will not get upsold here. While it is a cliche, the guy is really passionate about dentistry and doing a really good job. I know folks from the city who have given up on fancy expensive dentists downtown and make the trek out to Aurora because they get better care out there.

Start to finish, I got 2 crowns in 5 hours. This is crazy. Past appointments, it would have taken 3 apts for 1 crown. Dr. Bob has state of the art equipment. Him and his team work so hard to make sure you are comfortable and everything is done to perfection. Thank you!! Thank you!!! As much as I hate getting dental work done, I will pick YOU every time!!
