From the time I came in, Cameron at the front desk was very kind and informative. My wait time was less than 20 minutes. Dr. Tyler Brown & and his assistant Cheylyn provided me the most excellent bedside manner I have ever experienced. I have anxiety when it comes to anything medical. They made sure to comfort me during my entire visit. I had extreme tooth pain in my upper right molar and decided to have it pulled. Dr. Brown was sure to state my options however I just wanted it out due to the pain I was in. It was basically decaying and I didn't realize it until it was too late. (Reminder to floss). I was booked through a referral, and was in the next morning @ 9am. I am super relieved now and more than happy this tooth is finally out! Will be back & highly recommend.

Stay away from this place if you need anything more than a cleaning. Do not let Dr. McMahon Lee operate on your teeth if you need a filling. I had a filling replaced (the tooth wasn't bothering me at all prior to this) because it had a spot that was discolored and my previous dentist needed a new filing on another tooth. I would've gone back to that practice but it about 45 minutes away from my new place. I've been very consistent with dental visits since I was a teenager and this was THE WORST experience ever with a dentist. I had to go back two or three times because my bite on both sides was so terribly off that it was causing headaches and sensitivity to anything I ate. On the final visit Dr. McMahon Lee says I need to see an endodontist because I may need a root canal. On a tooth that was causing me ZERO issues before she worked on it?! It was at that point that I decided she didn't know what she was doing & I contacted the Dentfirst location in Alpharetta. The dentist in Alpharetta has been great in adjusting my bite appropriately - but I'm still dealing with sensitivity on the same tooth three months later. In addition to that, the other tooth she worked on needs the filling redone because it's causing spacing between my teeth & food has been getting stuck there causing irritation to my gum. I feel like I'll eventually have to get a root canal bc of the shoddy work Dr. McMahon Lee did when she obliterated my tooth during what should've been a routine filling.

This was my first visit and everything was excellent. I appreciated the speedy service and everyone was really friendly. I needed my wisdom tooth pulled immediately b/c of discomfort. The only negative is that they only have one oral surgeon so a little bit of a wait just for a consult but they can give a referral for an oral surgeon outside the practice that may be sooner. But overall my visit today was great and I'll return back for my next visit.

I like DentFirst for the doctors and some of the staff! Dr. Lofters and Nikki (Ortho team) are a DYNAMIC duo! Absolutely LOVE them! Dr. Chong is the EXTRAORDINARY when it comes to extractions! Francia is just AWESOME in EVERY way! I like Brittany, she is VERY customer service oriented and tries to answer any questions. Keep them ALL and give them a RAISE! There use to be a lady that sat back in the plexi-glass office. She had ZERO customer service and refused to come out even if you had questions and seemed very unfriendly. I haven't seen her the last couple of times I have been there. I think she is gone. :) My ONLY complaint would be charges and billing! It is VERY confusing and seems EXTREME. I had another extraction needed at the beginning of the year (only after having multiple in 2021). I was told i needed to pay $650 (WHAT?????), Brittany gave me a breakdown but something still did not seem right. I paid it but now I am looking at my account and there is a balance of almost $500... WHY? I pretty much pay something EVERYTIME I walk in that door and mind you, I HAVE insurance. I was told 1 1/2 yr ago I owed money, I paid and at the end of the year had almost a $400 credit. My husband and son were both getting bills and late fees for cleanings and I kept calling the office because it didn't make sense. It was finally resolved! I have good insurance and it still seems like I am paying out of pocket when I go and my family does not even come to the dentist as much as me for that simple reason. My advice... check your billing system because something is misaligned!

I have been going to Dent 1st since I relocated here in 2019 from Denver and now I am beginning to wonder if the practice of Dentistry is different in the West. This is the first time I have attended a dental appointment for a cleaning and no dentist was present in the office to examine my teeth. Nor was I told there would not be one present before I came. Also, having my teeth cleaned while viewing "Best Friends Secrets" on the TV screen is not my idea of a professional environment. I had no problem with the hygienist but since no dentist was present I would have appreciated from her more of a commentary with respect to the condition of my teeth or any cleaning recommendations. Also, the person scheduling my next appointment did not appear to be listening to me when I told her not to book a 5:30 appointment because I did not want to deal with traffic. But she booked it anyway. I am giving this review two stars because the hygienist was very pleasant. I don't know but maybe it is just that dentistry is practiced differently in the South.

I'm very surprised to see this place has so much good reviews... I guess I was unlucky?! I had a filling done around Oct/Nov of 2020. I then went back for regular visit 3 months later in 2021 just to be told I need a filling on the same tooth they worked on in Nov 2020. When I told them this was already done, they said it will need to be done and I won't have to pay. I knew they messed up so I went to another dentist to have it corrected, which costed me arms & legs, because they're out of network. I will never go back to this place.

On 09/16/22, I tried to phone the after hours number for an infected tooth, and the mail box was full and could not take a message. In addition, the prompt to send a text message to receive a quick call back did not respond to my three attempts. I then had to phone my general physical to secure an antibiotic prescription. First thing the next morning, I spontaneously walked into the office, and the receptionist was great and did her best to accommodate me although I was informed that the dentist was booked and could not fit me in at all. I did become offered an appointment at the Buford location several hours later, but I felt like I was in too much pain to focus to drive the hour to the alternative location. As a result I walked into a random dental office in the area and immediately had an evaluation which led to an emergency root canal. It is unacceptable that my emergency needs were not at all accommodated, and I could not get through over the phone or have an in person appointment at my home location, but at least another local provider filled in the gap. I am fine. Update: I received a returned text more than 48 hours after I requested emergency services. It was a generic statement that my issue would require a diagnostic appointment and then a plan would be put in place. This qualifies as patient abandonment.

Dr. Francia Kennedy is definitely the best. Very transparent and honest. As long as she's there DentFirst will continue to have a client. The front office staff is very friendly as well.

I've been going to DentFrist for years and I am always happy to come get my teeth cleaned. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and I am always feeling comfortable with the dental hygienist. I look forward to coming in and getting my teeth cared for twice a year.

I saw McMahon Lee. My 3rd visit for the same issue. I returned due to that service being free. last name Gunn. I spent over $5,000 last year. $1200 today for myself and daughter. I will not return. Lee and her untrained staff seem unbothered, however, I was the only customer there today. Lee, Brittany and the other woman will always have to work under someone due to their inability to accept feedback from customers. Lee said if her staff is not happy, she's not happy. In other words, as a customer I should not complain business101 what would they do w/o customers? My guess is what she's doing now. Lee is there 2 days a week. No one is trying to see her; at least at this location. I must add, she said it is her birthday? When I complained about this being the 3rd time for the same issue. I added that I closed my business for us to come today. She knew it was her birthday when she set her schedule. Oh yes, she'll remain with Dentfirst. If she was on her own, she'll be out of business. Lee needs to improve her dental skills as well.

The girl at the front desk wasn't the friendliest over the phone. My mom told Dr. Lee that but she made it seem like there was nothing wrong with how the girl's attitude was. My mom and I were the only customers there yet it took Dr. Lee a long time to get back to helping us. I didn't feel like my mouth was numb enough when she started to do my fillings. She had to numb me again. The customer service could be better.

Great cleaning by Kristina however the billing/ record keeping needs improvement. I was overcharged 3 times and was reimbursed.

The people are nice up there but my teeth experience had been awful. I went for a crown and a couple fill ins May 5th this is now June 14th and mouth is now sensitive to cold products, still irritated when I eat anything that's not soft food, my jaw vibrates like I have nerve issues. And my fill in area is still very sensitive when biting down. I have had procedures like this before and never had this problem. The Dr is McMahon Lee and when I told her this she said she doesn't see anything wrong but referred me to a Endodontic doctor which I can't afford right now because I exhausted all my benefits with her through Humana and I will have to wait till next year. My mouth is worse then when I went in there to get these things done.

Dent First supposedly offers 24 hours emergancy service but I was on the line for 1 hour with no response this morning. They lied about having emergancy line. I woke up with a fever this morning after my wisdom teeth removal and have no idea what to do because DentFirst doesn't pick up.

I had my first dental cleaning today with Francia. I cannot describe how pleased I am with the service! She took good care of me and made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I haven't had the best experiences with going to the dentist, but DentFirst truly made me a believer in their services! Professional, punctual, and friendly. I highly recommend DentFirst for your dental needs. You will not be disappointed!

So disappointed in Dent First. I was going to them for years and during this pandemic they decided to get money hungry. X-rays before they are due so I had to pay out of pocket. If it's not forced upon you as a business to do the right thing it should be your moral duty as a human. I have insurance to prevent paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket for services. And no they didn't say you will have to pay for this service because we are doing this earlier than it should be done.
