Dr. Awad graduated from Hunter Collage in 2004, with dual degrees in Chemistry and Psychology. She earnedher degreeof Doctor of Dental Surgery from Stony Brook University in 2007. Dr. Awad completed her General Practice Residencyat Barnabas Health Center the following year. She spent her early years in multiple areas of dentistry before starting Dentex Smile Studio in 2013.
Dr. Awad has been Top Rated Invisalign provider for years and has completed many cases during her dental career. In continuing education, Dr. Awad has been trained in facial plastics with Botox and certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. As a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Awad is very involved in continuing education. She betters herself by taking courses in practice management, aesthetics, endodontics, periodontics, and dental technology.

Dr Awad has been my dentist for almost 5 years now. Not only is she really wonderful to me as a patient, but she talks to me as a colleague/friend. She's never offering unnecessary procedures, or selling me on products. I feel she is genuine, and I know she is kind. That's all I ever want in someone that is looking out for my health. I refer everyone and anyone that I know to her!

Dr.Awad took her time with me, explained everything in detail and discussed my treatment plan. I've never had a dentist provide that degree of care or have office staff that were all so friendly. So happy I came across this office!

I am the most anxious about seeing the "dentist" BUT this place and their employees all made it so much better. They had me more at ease than I have ever been at any other dentist I've ever gone to. I had a split root canal from a previous different dentist and Dr. Ewa helped me right away. They are very knowledgeable and gave me a lot of information about the next steps I need to take. Very appreciative of their patience in answering all my concerns. Highly recommend!

Based on many positive reviews I decided to give Dr. Awad a try since I am looking for a new dentist. The positive reviews are accurate. First of all, parking is no problem. The office is very clean and staff are very friendly. My wait time was less than 10 minutes (may be less). Dr. Awad is very pleasant and professional. She really takes the time to explain what she is doing or about to do. She works well with the assistance. The dental area is very organized and the equipment appears to be up-to-date and well maintained. My treatment was annual checkup with X-rays and repairing a chipped tooth. I feel that Dr. Awad's focus is patient care. Overall, it was a positive experience. I would recommend her to my family and friends. I have already scheduled my next visit.
