Dr. Tian (Mike) Jin has dedicated his life in the pursuit of excellence in the field of general and cosmetic dentistry. His dedication and expert clinical abilities has earned him positions in some of the most renowned dental offices in Los Angeles. Dr. Jin also regularly commits countless hours attending continuing education courses and national seminars, learning from world renowned leaders in Dentistry in order to better serve the needs of his patients.
Dr. Jin has called the San Gabriel Valley his home for more than 20 years. Growing up, he attended Dana Middle School and Arcadia High School. He later graduated University of California, Irvine with a degree in Biological Sciences and Management. Dr. Jin later achieved his life-long dream of becoming a dentist with a Doctorate degree from UCLA School of Dentistry. Dr. Jin is also a member of numerous professional associations and dental societies and regularly volunteers to serve the community through CDA and professional association community service programs.
I am so excited and honored to be able to come back and serve community that I grew up in. I still remember learning to ice skate at the skating rink, watching movies with my friends, and waking up on New Years to watch the Rose Parade with my parents.
Over the span of my career so far, Ive had the privilege of working with some of the best dentists in the country and in some of the highest rated offices in the city. I am proud to say that Ive taken the best of what I learned into designing Dentex Dental Studio. Every single detail of the office was designed with our patients comfort and well being in mind. Going to the dentist can be a stressful experience, but hopefully we will be able to change that.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jin is also an avid painter and sculptor. Dr. Jin has showcased his work in art shows and online. All art pieces placed in Dentex Dental Studio are created by Dr. Jin himself!

Form the moment I walked through the door of the beautifully adorned building on the outside; I was shocked to see how beautifully adorned the interior was. The ambiance was comforting and I thought I was in a salon and not a Dental office. the Staff from the Front Office Staff who presented the Dental Assistant who presented the Doctor were amazingly "service oriented". I was even offered a massage chair while I filled out new patient forms and waited to be escorted to the Dentist Chair! After numerous photos of my teeth, and a basic observation the Dentist entered to give me the final analysis! He was proficient, shared with me a prescription for continued dental longevity and even was patient to list to a litany of questions I had about why no one ever helped me to understand how important is was to rinse my within 30 minutes after a donut! WOW!!

Excellent Dental Care and Cosmetic Experience Dr. Jin and his team have provided the best dental experience I've had so far. Dr. Jin is ultra meticulous with his work and has a pragmatic approach to dental solutions. The office is brand new, well designed, and immaculate with modern equipment. This is not a bargain-basement dental office. His team is attentive, responsive, friendly and professional. Communication either with phone, text, or email is prompt. They also work well with insurance companies. I was shopping around the Pasadena area to replace my top 8 veneers and crowns from 2005 (see top photo), and after a few visits and consultations with other dentists, I landed here. I wanted a dentist with a great local lab able to deliver the shape and color of teeth based on an inspiration photo. I presented the image of what I wanted, then received a mock model from the lab. I was able to visit the lab and further explain the shape, color and translucency I wanted, and finally received the finished product in several weeks. I was very happy and satisfied with the results. I also received Invisalign for my lower front teeth to improve my bite. This process for me was about 3 months, and worth the time. I would highly recommend Dr. Jin to anyone looking for general or cosmetic dentistry.

I have such a warm and comfortable experience every time I come to this office! Dr. Jin and the whole staff really go above and beyond to make sure their patients are comfortable and the office is very modern and clean.

My time with Dentex and Dr. Jin has been amazing, I have had some bad experiences in the past with dentists but him and his whole team are super thorough and you can tell they care about their patients. They worked with me on the stuff I needed to get done, I never felt pressured and they always made sure I understood what treatment I needed and understood the financial aspect to it as well. Thank you Dr. Jim and staff for all your time and work you guys are the best. Good job

I have had my teeth cleaned at this office twice now and have had a wonderful experience during both visits. The office is very beautiful with state of the art equipment. My initial visit was streamlined by being able to complete my new patient forms online beforehand. The front office staff were very friendly, Kim did an extremely thorough job cleaning my teeth, and Dr. Jin is a well-trained professional. I will gladly come back for many years to come!

One of the best dentist clinic I've ever been so far. The clinic environment is clean and refreshing, well updated to the modern technology standard. Staffs are friendly and Dr. Mike is never tired of any questions I have for my teeth conditions. So far, I really enjoy my visit but parking is very limited. Sometime if I'm not lucky there, and the parking is packed then I have to park away on the street which can be quite inconvenient for my prego me, especially right after managing 2 babies at home to go there, I hate to have park away walk to the clinic. Besides that everything is perfect for a dentist visit! I was recommended to this place by my daughter's dentist. Dr. Jessica Choi. And she's amazing!

This is the best dental practice I've ever been to. I changed dentist when my old dentist sold her practice to a dentist I didn't like. Been here at least 4-5 times since then for regular checkups and cleanings. I never feel pressured or "upsold" anything. The dental care is thorough and well done. The advice is always solid, but never like your parent telling you. Even if you don't have insurance coverage that includes Dentex, this place is worth the out of pocket.

Who actually enjoys going to the Dentist? Well, when you have a staff like this one, it really isn't a terrible experience at all. Everyone is so pleasant. The office is calming and comfortable. They really take pride in patient comfort while continually asking if you are okay. So far, I have loved everyone that has worked on me. Dr. Jin is quick and friendly. I highly recommend this office!
