Our dentist, Dr. Al Tripam, provides over three decades of dental care expertise and welcomes patients of all ages to visit our dental office in Cheyenne, WY, to experience the benefits of state-of-the-art dentistry.
Dr. Al Tripam is a Chicago native who graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry and has over thirty years of experience in family practice dentistry. Doctor T spent his first twelve years as a dentist establishing his solo practice in Illinois. Following that, he joined a group practice in Colorado. After almost twenty years there, Dr. Tripam decided he missed the more personal attention of a smaller practice. He found the Denteffex office to be just the right fit and took over the reins on March 1, 2017. Dr. Tripam is very happy to be part of the Cheyenne, WY, community!
Dr. Al Tripam is a decades-long member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has over 500 hours of Continuing Education and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
He and his wife, Mary Kay, have three sons who are busy establishing their careers after college. The family has been very active in Boy Scouting and is very proud of their Eagle Scouts. When not keeping up with dentistry, Dr. Tripam keeps busy with his two dogs, occasional trips to the range, film, and theater performances, and dont be surprised to see him at college sports events and classic car shows.

Scheduled my first visit for a cleaning. Everyone was friendly, thorough and made going to the dentist a great experience. Dr. T has a fun sense of humor, which my son will appreciate when it's time for his appointment.

I was totally sold on this dentist until I had to reschedule an appointment in order for my insurance to help cover cost. I then received a bill for canceling my appointment although I gave adequate notice. I was hoping I had finally found a dentist that was about more than just how much they could make. Sad for them they lost a great patient for a little cancellation fee. I can't go to Petty dentists

What was I afraid of? This office is excellent. Fears out the window, they are so gentle and kind. Made me feel very comfortable. Definitely recommend. Will be back for what's recommended and every 6 months after that.

Had my upper denture relined. They have a great positive atmosphere there and they're funny and they do a very very good job.. I choose Denteffex over any other dental office in Cheyenne.

I was in town visiting family and had a dental emergency. We talked to the doctor around 9pm Sunday night and they got me in first thing Monday morning. The staff was beyond friendly, and I felt so comfortable with the doctor.. my pain is gone and he is sending a report to my home town dentist for follow up. 10/10 would recommend Denteffex for your dental needs!

I had a toothache and office got me in quickly as first-time patient. Work turned out serious and was given same day referral to oral surgeon. Suspect Tripam's office interceded to get sooner surgeon appointment. Good experience all around and appreciate the attention from Dr. Tripam and his staff when I needed it.

Went in for cleaning and exam. Everyone was very friendly and I had a good experience. I need one filling which was explained as to why the filling was needed and how the procedure would be performed. Scheduling was no problem. I am well satisfied.

Going to the dentist gets a bad wrap at times. I've always had a good experience with Denteffex. From cleanings and Xrays to replacing crowns or any other work I've had done. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Dr Tripam has a wonderful sense of humor and has a good rapport with his patients. I will continue to be a patient for as long as I am living here in Wyoming.
