From the front desk manager (Taylor) to the dental assistant (May) to the dentist (Dr Alecia Mathog Rice, D.D.S) my experience was amazing. I had to have a molar pulled that was and had been, for sometime, causing me a lot of pain. Thanks to this office of super kind women, a situation that most people would anticipate to be a horrible experience, was just not the case! These ladies are all very kind, non-judgemental, intelligent and capable women who are all outstanding communicators! Thank you ladies for taking such good care of me while my Northville office was closed because of the pandemic. You are all truly appreciated by me and my family!

Dr. Rice was amazing, I went in for an abstraction and cleaning....pain level was very minimal..she was very nice and helpful. If your afraid of the dentist this place will change your whole mindset. Very patient, gentle and quick. VERY little pain with any of my procedures done here. And Dr. Rices assistant is very helpful to thats my guy! Always polite and helpful

I went to Aspen Dental- Royal Oak very nervous, and from the moment I stepped inside the office I was met with professionalism and a true concern for my well-being. If I had any questions or concerns, they would stop and explain and ease all of my worries. I commend and Thank everyone in the office for making my experience a pleasurable one. I will and have recommended your office several times. A special thank you to Dr Lundy, he made it a point to ease all of my fears.

The staff was so pleasant and patient. They make you feel welcome the moment you step in their establishment. The establishment was immaculate all the way through with the latest technology. Dental Works was recommended by a co- worker. I sent my 21 yr old daughter there and she raved about it. I told her to make me an appointment before she left. I was not disappointed.

Tammy the new hygienist there cleaned the HELL out of my teeth. Because I love coming to the dentist anyway, I found myself dozing off as she was taking measurements, cleaning and flossing. Front desk money lady Taylor is the best.. the doctor dentist run a tight ship. It feels like family EVERY TIME I go.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. This is my second negative review of this 'dental office'. The treatment I received from dr. Rice was rather inattentive. Granted, it WAS at the beginning of the pandemic, and we were all somewhat uncertain how to protect our health. I was quoted a pre determined amount for my dental work. I agreed to pay thousands of dollars for a 'necesary' procedure. I PAID the amount agreed upon PROMPTLY in October of 2020. In July of 2021 I began receiving bills from them. I called the number on the statement and was directed to call THIS office. I have done so on 4 separate occasions, each time being ASSURED that the problem would be solved. I just received ANOTHER STATEMENT demanding payment. I sincerely believe that dr. Rice and her staff are not rectifying THEIR billing error in order to ruin my credit rating. It is a scam. Do not fall subject to such horrible treatment. Go ANYWHERE else. EDIT; it is now may 12, 2022. I just got a call from the office manager. She explained that the billing 'discrepancy' was between the insurance company and the office. They allowed the bill to sit unattended until it was automatically referred to the collections department. That's why I NEVER got a bill from this office. The office manager took responsibility and closed the past due account in my name.

The Dr is not only knowledgeable, but she is compassionate and professional at the same time. The rest of the staff from dental assistant to the front desk personnel love what they do and I shows. I cannot speak to Dental Works as a whole, but I can tell you that this branch is the best.

Dr. Rice and her entire staff, are at their pinnacle of their expertise. This is what most would expect from their dentist. If your looking for an exceptional experience, and want to feel like a personal friend is taking care of you, run, don't walk, to their door. Dr. Rice and her "sidekick" May has not only literally, rebuilt my bite (jaw alignment, implants, etc.), but has went FAR out of their way to accommodate last minute emergencies, insuring that my smile was exceptional for my son's wedding. Try Dental Works Royal Oak out. You will not only be greatly impressed-you'll find them very "easy on the eyes", as well!

Hi there, never in my life I have I visit the dentist and the dentist came up with every excuse not to clean me or my husbands teeth. I was insulted, and confused. We waited months for this cleaning. The first excuse was for my husband. Them: Well your blood pressure is too high, so we can't clean your teeth after they performed a Panoramic Xray (very expensive). They was asking does he have back problems.(an Irrelevant question). The reading was dangerously high. As medical professions of you take bp and its dangerously are you suppose to let them leave and drive knowing they can have a stroke or heart attack. Anyhow they didn't clean his teeth nor rescheduled. Now its my turn. They conducted an x-ray. She took my bp. The same exact dangerously high reading was displayed for me as well. I advised the tech your monitor is broken. She laughed. She continue to pick at my teeth. She then states you have 3, 4 and 5 but thats normal since you haven't been here. She was talking as if I missed visits to the Dentist on purpose. She spoke as if in 2020 a pandemic shut down the world. She proceeds to get the dentist. The dentist say well you have no cavities, but you need a deep clean. You need to come back for that because I have another appointment coming and if she doesn't show up then you can get the deep clean. I say 40 years I have never been to the dentist and left without a cleaning. She told me well you can be the 12 noon and I can do the deep clean then but it'll will be an additional $180. Why do I need to make another appointment if I had been there since 9am? Now its almost 10:55 am and they completely wasted my family's time. Their rationale for not cleaning my teeth was because they didn't have time. As for The person behind me it would take the same amount of time for a cleaning as it would for me. I'm disappointed and traumatized by this horrible experience and demand a full refund for my husbands Panoramic Xray so we may move on. Their time management sucks. They seem only to want maximize on the annual insurance money . #1 They didn't care one inkling about our oral health.
