My philosophy is to provide the highest quality orthodontic care in a friendly, caring and fun environment. Being an orthodontist is the best job in the world! The office provides a valuable service in an upbeat setting that makes people feel better about themselves and allows them to enjoy better dental health. Providing the positive change a great smile creates is very satisfying.
The hands-on training that I received in my years of school has enabled me to provide effective and accurate treatment to my patients. At the completion of my orthodontic training, I was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award. In addition, I furthered my knowledge by attending continuing education courses to keep up on the latest advancements in my field.
I was raised in Tucson, Arizona most of my life. I attended the University of Arizona and received my Bachelors in Science in the area of Physiology with a minor in chemistry. My pursuit to follow in my fathers footsteps as an oral surgeon led me to continue my career by attending dental school at Case Western Reserve University where I met my husband and bought my first real winter coat and boots. I had a passion of helping people and being part of a community that helps people smile. After finishing my DMD I attended Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY to complete my residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. It was here that I gained my knowledge in facial trauma and specialty in wisdom teeth extraction and implants. During all the long hours in school I was still able to squeeze in some yoga classes and some amazing Broadway shows.
I am a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, participate in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), and the Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. I participate in TuNidito and I am creating a nonprofit program, DEED4DEED, that focuses on a pay-it-forward concept to help people receive dental needs by giving back to others.
Now that I am back in Tucson I continue to develop my practice as a yogi. I play in the garden with my daughter, Grace, and my husband, Kurt. I love to cook and enjoy an occasional volleyball game. I enjoy my work and love the interactions and new relationships I make with my patients daily. If I am not on the ice taking care of one of our Tucson Roadrunners Hockey players I am at the University taking in a football game.
After helping hundreds of different patients over the years, I have seen how tooth and gum problems can affect peoples lives in so many ways. It can affect our sense of well-being and our overall health. It can also affect our confidence and how we interact with others. In my career as a dentist, I have advanced my skill set through continued education to allow myself to provide my patients with the best in comprehensive care. It is my goal to provide each patient with an enjoyable and comfortable experience to help them in any way. I strive to understand what my patients goals are and to work with them to find the best solution.
I take pride in giving back to others especially in underserved areas. As a past member of the International Student Volunteer and Global Brigade groups, I have helped provide free dental care to many underserved areas such as the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras and Samoa. I have also helped with the communities here in Arizona through events such as Give Kids a Smile, Super Sealant Saturday and Hopefest. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors whether its hiking or golfing with my friends and family.
I was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota. My love for dentistry began at a very young age. In preparation to achieve my lifelong goal of becoming a dentist I received my undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin La Crosse (Go Badgers!) in biomedical sciences. I strongly believe in treating all my patients like family. I am committed to providing the best possible treatment options for each of my patients and strive to embody compassion, honesty, and conservatism. You will be able to find comfort in my sense of humor, positive attitude, and my ability to make patients feel relaxed and less anxious or fearful.
I have always been passionate about community involvement and service work. I have been involved in Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy programs, Special Olympics, TeamSmile, and Vida Volunteer. I look forward to serving the Tucson community in future outreach events.
Hi, my name is Twila Garcia and I have been in the dental field since 1998. I started off as a dental assistant through the Red Cross Program. I graduated from Dental Hygiene School in 2003 and then again in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. I have a deep passion for my career, and educating my patients is always my top priority.
I am married and have three incredible children. My husbands job has taken us to a number of exotic locations. We have lived in Japan, Panama, Nigeria, Texas, Kansas and now Arizona. He is a Lt. Colonel in The United States Air Force and has proudly served for 29 years.
Ashleigh is a longtime Tusconan. She graduated from Cienega High School in 2013 and Pima Community Colleges Dental Hygiene Program in 2019. Ashleigh decided she wanted to be a hygienist in high school, and has never looked back. She intends to further her education in the hopes of becoming an orthodontist some day! Ashleigh strives to keep her patients comfortable while helping them achieve the goal of a confident smile.
Ashleigh loves talking to people. She enjoys watching and playing all sports, lifting weights, traveling, food, dancing, singing, laughing, and spending time with her crazy family and her little doggos, Graham and Kipper. I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. I completed my Dental Hygiene degree in 2012 at Pima Community College. I truly enjoy my work in dentistry and getting to meet and treat a variety of patients. I feel accomplished when I can make people with negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving dental care. Also, I love spending time educating and encouraging patients to maintain good periodontal health. My husband and I are parents to three wonderful girls; I enjoy spending family time together, hiking, running and cooking.
I was born in Hermosillo, Mexico, and Ive been in Tucson for 25 years. I received my degree in Dental Hygiene from Pima Community College in 2012. I love being a part of the excellent team at DentalPros. I particularly enjoy providing dental care to entire families, getting to know each one of them, and seeing their progress. My primary goal is for the patient to have the best possible and stress-free experience. Im still trying to convince myself that I enjoy hiking. I am married and have three handsome boys.

This place is incredible. My wife and I recently went in for check ups and cleanings- I am so happy we've found our family dentist. The entire staff is professional and friendly. Shout out to Sydney and Dr. Michael! My two year old actually enjoyed his first dentist appointment ever. 10 out of 10, we've finally found our dental home in Tucson.

Crown prep work today, a visit and then follow-up on same day when unexpected issue arose. Dr. Michael, and dental assistants Sydney and Martina, all did an excellent job. Kudos to front office for being able to get me back in the same day to make an adjustment. Thank you!

Friendly, fast, efficient and professional from the moment of scheduling appt over phone to being greeted by reception through all procedures and final payment. Office manager Emma in particular very helpful and interested in patient satisfaction. It's a win in all ways.

The staff was extremely friendly, and took their time to ensure I understood the procedures and billing information. Definitely recommend for a visit. Additionally, the staff at the Broadway/Pantano location helped take pictures with my kid for career, who wants to be a dentist when she grows up. Although the staff was very busy tending to the needs of the clients, they took time out of their busy schedule to take pictures with my 4YO daughter. Amazing is such a small word compared to how well they helped my kid and made my kid feel more comfortable to go to the dentist. I will definitely continue to come to this location in the future.

Always nervous going to the dentist! Had a cleaning done today. EMILY was my hygienist and THANK YOU!! Very thorough, explained what she was doing as she did it, knew what she was talking about!! Good boss energy, you can tell shes not just going through the motions. Very pleased with the whole appointment itself, people like Emily make me want to take care of my oral health and RETURN for this amazing treatment! You're appreciated! We currently use both Dental Pros, and Ortho Pros for our children and myself. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for dental care or orthodontic treatments. The front desk staff are always super polite, and go above and beyond to help schedule our large family's visits. I appreciate that because it is a bit of a drive for us to the Pantano location. The hygienists have always been very gentle, and thorough, and knowledgeable. Emma with the orthodontist side has also always made sure our visits go smoothly. All 5 of my children always look forward to their visits! I truly feel that we are well cared for, and important to the people who work here.

This place was so professional they work their hardest to make me happy and feel beautiful once again they treated me like family. Worked with me on a budget and made sure I was comfortable during the pandemic. Emma is an angel well everybody at the Pantano office is God sent they all have amazing hearts and love their jobs you can honestly tell by the way they perform their jobs it's more than just her job to them they actually love making people smile. And now I can finally after years of being uncomfortable smiling with my boys I feel like a Actual person again thank you guys so much May God bless everybody that works at this office. I highly recommend this place

My whole family loves all of the doctors at Ortho Pros and Dental Pros. We go to them for everything (dental, orthodontics, and oral surgery). Isabella always remembers us and make my kids feel extra special every time we walk through the door. Dr. Kurt Kacer has done such an amazing job on two of my daughters braces! Dr Caroline Kacer will be doing my daughters implant. I love being able to go to one place for all of our needs. I highly recommend giving them a try!

Went to DentalPros today as a new patient. Check-In was efficient. Melvin did a great job gathering additional information and taking X-Rays. The doctor clearly explained what the condition of my teeth were and what needed to be done. The coordinator did a great job explaining how my insurance would affect the procedure and how to best approach and was able to be flexible with my needs. Very happy with my choice and happy to continue working with them!

Dental Pros at Vail/East is an extremely professional and cordial medical environment. I appreciate their service. The people who work there actually listen to my concerns and treat me with respect and dignity, unlike some other places I've been where the conversations are so "mechanical."I highly recommend their dental expertise to everyone.
