My philosophy is to provide the highest quality orthodontic care in a friendly, caring and fun environment. Being an orthodontist is the best job in the world! The office provides a valuable service in an upbeat setting that makes people feel better about themselves and allows them to enjoy better dental health. Providing the positive change a great smile creates is very satisfying.

The hands-on training that I received in my years of school has enabled me to provide effective and accurate treatment to my patients. At the completion of my orthodontic training, I was awarded the Clinical Excellence Award. In addition, I furthered my knowledge by attending continuing education courses to keep up on the latest advancements in my field.

I was raised in Tucson, Arizona most of my life. I attended the University of Arizona and received my Bachelors in Science in the area of Physiology with a minor in chemistry. My pursuit to follow in my fathers footsteps as an oral surgeon led me to continue my career by attending dental school at Case Western Reserve University where I met my husband and bought my first real winter coat and boots. I had a passion of helping people and being part of a community that helps people smile. After finishing my DMD I attended Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY to complete my residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. It was here that I gained my knowledge in facial trauma and specialty in wisdom teeth extraction and implants. During all the long hours in school I was still able to squeeze in some yoga classes and some amazing Broadway shows.

I am a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, participate in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), and the Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. I participate in TuNidito and I am creating a nonprofit program, DEED4DEED, that focuses on a pay-it-forward concept to help people receive dental needs by giving back to others.

Now that I am back in Tucson I continue to develop my practice as a yogi. I play in the garden with my daughter, Grace, and my husband, Kurt. I love to cook and enjoy an occasional volleyball game. I enjoy my work and love the interactions and new relationships I make with my patients daily. If I am not on the ice taking care of one of our Tucson Roadrunners Hockey players I am at the University taking in a football game.

After helping hundreds of different patients over the years, I have seen how tooth and gum problems can affect peoples lives in so many ways. It can affect our sense of well-being and our overall health. It can also affect our confidence and how we interact with others. In my career as a dentist, I have advanced my skill set through continued education to allow myself to provide my patients with the best in comprehensive care. It is my goal to provide each patient with an enjoyable and comfortable experience to help them in any way. I strive to understand what my patients goals are and to work with them to find the best solution.

I take pride in giving back to others especially in underserved areas. As a past member of the International Student Volunteer and Global Brigade groups, I have helped provide free dental care to many underserved areas such as the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Honduras and Samoa. I have also helped with the communities here in Arizona through events such as Give Kids a Smile, Super Sealant Saturday and Hopefest. In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors whether its hiking or golfing with my friends and family.

I was born and raised in the great state of Minnesota. My love for dentistry began at a very young age. In preparation to achieve my lifelong goal of becoming a dentist I received my undergraduate degree from University of Wisconsin La Crosse (Go Badgers!) in biomedical sciences. I strongly believe in treating all my patients like family. I am committed to providing the best possible treatment options for each of my patients and strive to embody compassion, honesty, and conservatism. You will be able to find comfort in my sense of humor, positive attitude, and my ability to make patients feel relaxed and less anxious or fearful.

I have always been passionate about community involvement and service work. I have been involved in Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy programs, Special Olympics, TeamSmile, and Vida Volunteer. I look forward to serving the Tucson community in future outreach events.

I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ. I completed my Dental Hygiene degree in 2012 at Pima Community College. I truly enjoy my work in dentistry and getting to meet and treat a variety of patients. I feel accomplished when I can make people with negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy to be receiving dental care. Also, I love spending time educating and encouraging patients to maintain good periodontal health. My husband and I are parents to three wonderful girls; I enjoy spending family time together, hiking, running and cooking.

I was born in Hermosillo, Mexico, and Ive been in Tucson for 25 years. I received my degree in Dental Hygiene from Pima Community College in 2012. I love being a part of the excellent team at DentalPros. I particularly enjoy providing dental care to entire families, getting to know each one of them, and seeing their progress. My primary goal is for the patient to have the best possible and stress-free experience. Im still trying to convince myself that I enjoy hiking. I am married and have three handsome boys.

Very happy to have this office for all dental needs. Bree did an amazing job and had the magic touch with my sensitive teeth. If you have sensitive teeth you know how rare that is. Thank you team!

Our family loves Dr. Kacer and his team! They've taken great care of us for many years, and we have them to thank for our smiles. I can trust that every question/concern would be addressed with professionalism, care, and good humor. Also, a special shoutout to Cristina, who has been absolutely amazing with my daughter. She was nervous about getting brackets put in for the first time, but Cristina was so gentle with her and got her to relax in no time. The highlight of her day was getting to pick out elastic ties in her favorite color (purple). Thanks so much for your patience and kindness, Cristina!

Explained that my gums were irritated from invisilign rubbing. Dr said "out of the thousands of patients we have we never have gum irritation from invisilign." I literally felt it rubbing my gums down. He said "I just don't believe that's what's causing the issue. If you don't believe me, I don't see why you should get invisilign again." I said I wanted invisilign but this time I would make sure he filed down the excess plastic so it wouldn't injure my gums. Now he's withholding the remaining two years of orthodontics because he want to mansplain that the invisilign weren't causing my issue, when clearly they were! Even my dentist confirmed the irritation was from invisilign rubbing.

For starters, this review is long overdue. I'm now close to a year into my course of Invisalign with Dr. Kurt. As a result, I also changed my primary dentist to Dr. Sarah from the previous dentist I'd been going to for years and it was a great decision. I was remarkably ugly with crooked teeth before I started Invisalign at OrthoPros. I didn't think these awful teeth could be saved, nor did I trust myself to be diligent enough with wearing the trays day in and day out to actually see results. However, I'm delighted to say that my awful teeth are now a thing of the past thanks to Dr. Kurt and the space-age technology he (and the team) use to practically manufacture perfect teeth out of thin air. Dr. Sarah's skills are equally impressive (maybe even more so - sorry Dr. Kurt) just judging by how she managed to restore my teeth from the abyss after not seeing a dentist for the majority of the pandemic. Her ability with teeth is like those people you see that can restore some old, beat up, rusty pickup truck into a picturesque show car magazine cover (only my teeth are the pickup truck). She's just amazing. Last, literally every single member of the staff I've ever encountered has been nothing short of exceptional. Always friendly, welcoming, professional, and passionate about their work. To be clear: I am, in fact, still quite ugly. It would have been unreasonable to expect them to fix that too. BUT, it's much better to be ugly with nice, straight pearly whites than being ugly AND having a mouth full of teeth that looked like they were running away from each other. So thank you to the great folks at DentalPros and OrthoPros for making that happen!

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. They tell you work is covered when you make the appointment, and then they overcharge you before they even submit the insurance claim! GOOD LUCK GETTING THEM TO CALL YOU BACK OR RESPOND TO CHAT OR EMAIL!!!

We went to Dental Pros for a tooth extraction as a result of a referral from our regulate dentist. The clinical services provided were good. There was confusion regarding billing and our insurance coverage. After making several calls the matter had not been resolved to our satisfaction. Our concerns were reported to the DentalPro billing staff. The next day I received a call and after explaining our concerns, the matter was resolved to our satisfaction. Clearer information at the time of services would have reduced concerns, but I am satisfied that the efforts made to resolve the matter were completed in a professional manner.

First of all, staff friendly and welcoming. I am not an expert at evaluating dental treatment, but my treatment was comparable to other places I have visited. However, when it comes to their billing and treatment plan communication, this is where I was failed. I showed up for my check-up appointment, and was very sure that they had my updated insurance. After my cleaning, I was asked whether I wanted some fillings taken care of, so I asked to see the itemized bill summary before treatment. The bill was $181 after insurance, and I agreed to the treatment. During the fillings, I was informed that I may need a crown for a tooth. During the filling procedure, a photo of the tooth was taken for me, they had drilled out my tooth; evidently I needed to get a crown now whether it was a necessity or not. I go to billing and was informed I needed to pay a little over $2000 out of pocket for the visit for something that was added to my treatment plan DURING my filling procedure which I thought I was paying $181 for. I was told I could be put on a payment plan for the 2k. After receiving the rest of the treatment plan & carefully reviewing, I realized a discrepancy; I was being charged $800 less on another crown they recommended. After raising this question, I was told that it was a mistake and the extra $800 dollar charge was removed. Now the price for that day's visit was 1.2k out of pocket. So I was almost billed an extra $800 for reasons I am unsure. Not a "trust and feel good" situation. -What if I was someone who could not afford dental visits and was suddenly given a 2k bill after only agreeing to a $200 treatment? -What if I was someone who was less willing to challenge confusing billing charges? That is why I give the 2 stars.

How does a person judge a business? Is it when you first arrive to a warm welcome with a smiling face who offers immediate assistance? Do you judge it on the wait time as soon as you enter? Maybe the Interaction that you have with the assistance or the doctor. Whatever the case may be, I would highly recommend dental pros as your main care provider. From the greeting as soon as you enter, from the small talk from the assistant to put your mind at ease, from the gratitude compassion and patience to properly explain everything that they might need to do. Going above and beyond I believe is an understatement for the care that I have received from this establishment. As a person that is so passionate for what they do, I am grateful I found a place that is as passionate as I am. I wish I knew everyone's name so I could call each and everyone of you out, but thank you to all for putting my mind at ease and for me to understand I am completely cared for.
