I'm glad that I found this dentist. The staff is friendly and professional Dr.Trout was great. He would explain everything that he was doing to my mouth.

Everyone was nice in the office. My dad got dentures from them and he was having problems. Have tried for 3days to get in touch with them without any help so far. I need upper and lower myself but now I won't be going to them. Be careful, their website says they take you insurance but they don't get prior authorization and insurance denies services.

No worth your time or money I ended up going there for a 11 months and only got part of what I went for payment was paid in full and by the time I decided enough was enough. As of today I still haven't got my refund or yet for them to call me back. Also if you going to drive to Jesup for services you may as well drive on to hinesville or Savannah.

Like most I have left message after message for a related billing issue. And like most you do not receive a call back from anyone. I even went into the office in an attpt to resolve the issue and was informed nobody there could be of assistance and I needed to contact billing. I asked them to call and see if they could get a response. They didn't. The actually owe me money and that's probably why they will not call back. I am at the end of my rope and probably will have to file a civil case just to get them to respond to me inquiry. Worse dental business I ever felt with and if you read the website the Dr takes great pride in himself and business so says a lot about how it is preserved .

Good luck getting an appointment. They have an answering machine that answers and then texts you immediately after you hang up. I have left multiple voice messages and text messages with no return calls. This facility was highly rated by my insurance company but after reading other google reviews, I probably shouldn't have chosen this facility anyways. Will be in search of new dentist that I can actually make an appointment at.

Horrible at billing and returning schedule appts. Me and my husband went in for our annual cleanings and paid our deductible and left. A few weeks later got a bill for almost 200 dollars called to speak with the owner and was told it wasn't their fault my insurance wouldn't cover an xray that was done at the time of the cleaning. I told her well you always billed insurance and told us what they cover and don't and ask if we want it done anyway or not so yall just took it upon yourselves to do an xray that wasn't covered and didn't let us know, well none of this was said or done at the appt and I paid my bill before I left and had a 0 balance due for our free cleanings through insurance just to be told now that I still owe the bill and would be turned over to collections for not paying for something they done and didn't notify us of! Along with never hearing back from them to schedule filings they they said they would call to schedule. Nothing is ever on their end ever custom will always be held reliable for offices mistakes. a down side also is I have paid for two root canals and got one crown but both root canals have ended up not being done correctly and infection was left behind or they didn't get all the nerves/roots out and the tooth was still very painful afterwards and both teeth have had to be extracted since the procedure done at this office. So now I'm out of all this money and still had to end up with extractions after paying such a high price to save the teeth or so I thought.

I was told I needed a root canal in June and that my benefits had been verified. I was told my portion was $265.00. I paid my portion and scheduled the procedure; however upon verifying my benefits myself I found my insurance would not cover the procedure due to a six month waiting policy( I had recently switched jobs). I called and canceled the appointment and requested a refund. I had to call numerous times, write numerous emails and submit the same refund request form twice. I could never get the Jesup office to help me. I finally contacted another Dental Wellness office at the end of November and spoke with a young lady named Carol who handled my issue in two days time. I just received a phone call from Sienne (sp) from the Jesup office saying they handled my issue and my refund not Carol. Well, no they didn't, Carol did, and Carol deserves the credit- all I received from the office staff at the Jesup location was BS lip service, unprofessionalism, and rudeness! This latest "follow up" phone call just reinforces the level of unprofessionalism. I will never go back to this office and would advise anyone to think twice before they schedule with Dental Wellness Center of Jesup.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had a consultation in June 2020. I was informed a root canal was needed. I prepaid for the procedure. August 2020 I arrived for the root canal and was informed the procedure couldn't be done and I would be referred out. I explained I had prepaid and was informed a refund would be initiated. It is now mid November 2020 and I still haven't received the refund in excess of 300.00. Calls go unreturned and when you do get someone to talk to they just attempt to spin you stating the refund is being processed. CAUTION!!!! Use at your own risk!!

Great dental staff, but terrible office staff. Rushed me out after my last appointment, said they would call to go over my treatment plan and cost but never did. Gave it 10 days, and called them just to be spoke over and cut off. Transferring to the Richmond Hill location, and hoping for better communication.

I have used this dentist for several years. My last visit in August 2020 will definitely be the last!! After my last visit I did not receive a bill for several months (Approximately December 2020). The bill listed several months of finance charges, although it was the first one I had received. Upon receiving the bill I called to ensure that my insurance had been billed, as I did not see a claim. I was told that it was their error, because they had been having a lot of issues with billing that they were trying to correct. The person I spoke with said they would take care of it and that I should disregard the bill. February/March of 2021 I receive another bill (with yet again more finance charges). I called back to get more information and explained the situation. This person again apologized for their errors and said he would be happy to help. I paid the total he stated he was due and received an email with my statement showing paid in full $0 balance. Within two weeks I started getting letters and emails stating I had an outstanding balance AGAIN of over $100. I had not been back to their office to have any outstanding charges. I called multiple times and was unable to reach anyone. When I did they stated they would review the account because for some reason my payment was never applied. I was supposed to receive a call back. After waiting two days I called again, I spoke to "the owner" and she stated that after reviewing my account the bills were incorrect, but I do owe $8. She admitted that they had been incompetent, yet did not offer to correct the minimal balance. The billing department is a joke! I have absolutely no confidence in their ability to bill me correctly and will not be returning. They also charged me $18 in office for PPE (which I didn't even receive) and tried to bill my insurance for the $18 again.

Billing issues. Not sure what internal issues they have going on. They use to be ok and now service and billing is always messed up. Would not recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST. I went in for a simple cleaning for my kids which is covered at 100%. I paid for the fluoride at 5 times the price they quoted me, then I receive a bill for an additional 250$ ABOVE the $260 I already paid. I contacted Humana and was advised that they are not allowed to charge for anything that isn't discussed with me previously. I'm filing a complaint with the Georgia Board of Dentistry and I suggest everyone who has issues with this office does the same thing.

I just receive a letter stating I owe 130.00 from a 10.00 bill from october of 2019. First of all I had dentures done and they did a terrible, the doctor even tries to give me stitches where she had not given me any Novocain, after I was done I gave them a check for half due. I came back a few day later to let them know the antibiotics they gave does not work and asked for a different one, after the doctors wrote the prescription they came back and told me I could not get the antibiotics until I pay the balance in full, I was not aware when I went to the doctors office that the full balance would be needed, I told them I could bring it the next day, but they said no they will not give me my prescription until paid in full. Like I said received a letter today saying I owe this, my last invoice states paid in full, and I feel like they are trying to get more money after a year with no notices until now.

Dental billing staff is ridiculous. I had work done, paid my copays and my insurance company had covered the rest (called and verified all work done and payments paid out). Now, I'm receiving over a $600 statement with no details entailing what I'm being billed for. Just a balance forward with a finance charge. Ive called numerous times just to be told it takes 3-5 business days for the account to be audited... its been over a month now. I'm wondering how many people pay this without looking into it first. I've had nothing but issues with the office staff since day 1. Between my phone number being entered incorrectly in the system, my copays not being able to be located, having to speak with at least 2 people to even schedule an apt. Dr. Trout, I give you a 5 star. You've been pleasant and very sweet. As far as your office staff, there's some issues that need to be addressed.

When I started going to Dental Wellness, I was pleased. In recent years, their billing practices are not trustworthy. Each time that I had a procedure done, I was told that I had to pay my portion up front. Which, I did. I received a bill stating that I owed more money. When I questioned it, I was told that the pre-procedure payment had been an estimate. In reality, the bill that I received was the difference between what I paid and the insurance company agreed to pay. As an in plan provider, the signed an agreement to accept the amount that my insurance company allowed. The bill that I received is bogus. I will not be returning.
