Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is the specialty of dentistry that includes the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries, and defects involving both the functional and esthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. The term maxillofacial refers to the anatomic area of the jaws and face. After dental school, an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency provides extensive training in related medical and surgical disciplines such as general surgery, plastic surgery, internal medicine, critical care medicine, anesthesia and pathology. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are trained to treat patients in hospital settings, outpatient surgery centers and private offices.
A periodontist is a dental specialist who manages the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases of the supporting and surrounding tissues of the teeth or their substitutes to maintain the health, function and esthetics of these structures and tissues. Periodontist under go extensive clinical training after graduating from dental school.

They told me that they accepting my insurance. Did x-rays and appointments later told me they did not accept my insurance and sent me a large bill. Incompetence at its finest

I have such bad anxiety about going to the dentist. I recently decided to finally fix my smile and needed all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth removed. I was referred to Dr.Marshall for the procedure from my dentist due to my teeth being severely impacted and two of them were sitting on the nerve. During my consultation Dr Marshall made sure to go over all my options and gave me his honest opinion on how I should move forward. We scheduled the surgery and within a week a was in. I was so SO incredibly nervous, his office made sure they could do whatever they could to make me feel safe and calm. Today I woke up after having all 4 removed and I have very little pain, minimal swelling and no discomfort. I am incredibly pleased with my experience at Dental Surgeons and I'm extremely thankful to have had a doctor that was so gentle with me! Highly recommend this office for wisdom teeth removal. Dr.Marshall and his staff are very understanding and great to work with.

I went there to have Tori removed from my bottom gums I paid $2,300 they did a lousy job I left there with a mouth full of blood and I still have the Tori

Wow! Dr. Marshall was awesome I highly recommend this place for wisdom teeth extractions. He kept me calm all through the surgery and the dentist assistant also did great job!

Went in for a 5 minute evaluation/consult with Dr Ashrafi. X-Rays were brought from APPT from primary dentist. No examination was necessary or done. The doctor looked at my X-Ray, peaked in my mouth and said, "should be an easy surgery, let's get you out front and scheduled". Spent about 15mins at the front desk discussing insurance and to see if they would cover as medically necessary. After discussing insurance, the front desk said they would submit to united health to see if it was covered. About 2 Months passed before I had to call the office to see what the story was with my insurance. Not long after speaking with them again I received a bill in the mail for $85 for "new patient evaluation, 5 minutes" My problem is NOT with the bill...my problem is why did they wait 2 months to mail me a bill? If there was a cost or charge for the service, it should have been collected on the service date. Or I should have been made aware that there was a charge for a 5 minute talk with the doctor and that it wouldn't be done as a professional courtesy like MOST other medical facilities. Megan in billing staff was nothing short of condescending and rude when I contacted the office biling department to dispute. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or an office manager, I was told there was none, and that there was no one I could speak too that was in a higher position than Megan. I then asked who the owner of the practice was and was told Dr John Marshall. Megan proceeded to tell me Dr Marshall would not get on the phone regarding medical billing disputes, but at this point it is so much more than that. I'm nothing short of pissed off and disgusted with this office and "patient care". Would NOT recommend this office to friends or family and will absolutely go out of my way to never have to visit this practice again.

I had some major work to get done and I was absolutely petrified about it. The ladies in the office took really good care of me and the doctor was great as well. I was in and out before I know it thanks again guys!!!!

Had work done by Dr.Kate Crowley D.M.D ... she is amazing ! I have anixity for the dentist lol and she helped me and made me feel so comfortable. I never felt so safe with a dental procedure then I did with her. I highly recommend! The staff was very friendly. I had to pay for my experience out of pocket and the prices are very reasonable. I won't go anywhere else !
