Daniel Butensky, DMD, is a skilled dentist at both Dental Studios locations in Summit and Westfield, New Jersey. His patients know him for his compassionate, attentive care coupled with an expertise that allows him to handle all of their dental needs.

Dr. Butensky grew up in West Orange, New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers Universitys School of Dentistry. He completed a general practice residency program at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and has several years of private practice experience in both New York City and here in New Jersey.

The art of aesthetic dentistry is one of Dr. Butenskys greatest passions as a practitioner. Theres nothing he enjoys more than crafting an individualized treatment plan to rejuvenate a patients smile. To that end, he values continuing education and has participated in the Aesthetic Advantage seminars at the Rosenthal Institute at New York University. An active member of several dental societies including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Butensky has advanced training in cosmetics and surgical implant placement.

Stephen T. Busby, DDS has joined the dental practice of Daniel Butensky, DMD in Summit, New Jersey after maintaining a very successful and high quality solo General Dentistry Practice in Short Hills, NJ for 37 years. Dr. Busby sees patients of all ages and renders care in all areas of general dentistry. Dr. Busby has developed close referral relationship with many of the areas leading specialists which allows him to handle the most complex of dental needs.

Dr. Busby has been licensed by the states of New Jersey, Massachusetts and North Carolina for the practice of General Dentistry and has maintained continuous membership in the American Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), which requires substantial annual continuing education in excess of state license requirements. He was awarded the highly regarded status as an AGD Fellow (FAGD) in 1996. Dr. Busby has also been named one of New Jersey Monthly magazines Top Dentists of New Jersey five different times from 2005 to 2016.

Dr. Busby is an Attending Doctor at Overlook Hospital in Summit, where he teaches in their General Practice Dental Residency Program. He has been honored with the Residents House Teaching Award for his work assisting and critiquing dental residents in clinical care. Dr. Busby also participates monthly with Overlook Dental Department meetings and has served on the Dental Department Board. Teaching at the hospital, and the AGD continuing education keeps me abreast of the newest research and treatment advances in dentistry. Stephen Busby was raised in Milwaukee, WI and Bowling Green, KY. He graduated from the University of North Carolina (UNC) in Chapel Hill with a BA in Chemistry. Steve then attended UNC School of Dentistry, graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1981. He was the Senior Class President and was awarded several Senior Faculty Awards upon graduation. These included The Department of Operative Dentistry Award, The Department of Dental Ecology Award, and the Dwight Clark Memorial Award for Outstanding Student.

In 1983, he and his wife, Marianne moved to her hometown of Short Hills, NJ where Dr. Busby built a vibrant dental practice until joining forces with Dr. Butensky at The Dental Studio in nearby Summit, NJ (June 2020). The Busbys have three grown daughters who all live in the New York metropolitan area. They have one grandson, with another grandson due to join the family in January 2021.

Dr. Hosny is a native of Staten Island, New York, and is moving to New York City very soon. Dr. Hosny, originally Egyptian, was born and raised in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Hunter College in NYC and continued to pursue her dream to become a dentist. She later received her doctorate from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where she was awarded for her excellence in the area of cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Hosny was one of 12 selected students to complete a one-year residency program at the prestigious Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she got to work with world-renowned specialists to treat patients in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Hosny is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and continues to take continuing education courses to stay up-to-date about the advances in the field.

Dr. Hosny is dedicated to providing patient-centric care to obtain both functional and aesthetic results. She provides dental care with patience, passion, and motivation. She is a hard-working individual who is result-oriented. It is of utmost importance to Dr. Hosny that her patients are comfortable and stress-free during treatment.

Outside of the office, Dr. Hosny enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants. She loves Thai food so much and has tried every Thai restaurant in NYC. She is also a professional Race-walker and an avid swimmer.

Rosamaria is the Practice Manager for both Dental Studios locations in Summit and Westfield, New Jersey. As a Practice Manager, Rosamaria leads the team of dedicated staff and is responsible for the day to day operational management of the practice. She has 30 years of experience in the dental field, 11 years as a Registered Dental Assistant and 19 at the management level. Rosamaria is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM).

Julie is our office manager. She oversees all of our daily operations. Julie keeps our office running smoothly and efficiently by handling office scheduling, billing, insurance details, patient records and correspondence with specialists offices regarding patients. Prior to entering the dental field, Julie attended Kean University and FIT. She began work as a fashion merchandiser. Julie has over 15 years experience in dentistry, and has been with Dr. Busby for over 15 years. Her friendly and caring disposition as people enter the office make patients immediately feel comfortable and welcome in our office.

Julie lives in Springfield with her husband Tom and two sons. Brandyn is 9 years old and Adrian is 5, providing Julie with no rest, but lots of fun when she gets home from work! She loves to exercise, shop and travel in her spare time.

Jeri has worked in the dental field since 2004 after graduating from Ramapo College of NJ. She works on building patient care relationships to help those fully understand their oral health care needs. She assists in explaining and reviewing to the patients about treatment, insurance and finances. In her spare time, Jeri loves spending time with her husband, twins and the family dog.

Jeanine Keating has been practicing dental hygiene in the same location for over 30 years! She is a lifelong New Jersey native, former resident of Rahway and Westfield. Regarding Jeanines choice of professions, her decisive moment was when her brother brought home 2 green wax cubes from dental school and she watched in fascination as he carved them into teeth and aligned them in a model jaw. She attended FDU school of dentistry where she graduated magna cum laude with an RDH degree.

Jeanines first employer was a periodontist, where she gained great insight into diagnosis, treatment, management, and prevention of gingivitis and periodontal disease. Her experience working in pediatric, geriatric, and cosmetic practices have proved invaluable to her as well.

She feels most fortunate to have found such a rewarding career, and the ever-changing new technology is both challenging and exciting. It has been a privilege for her to work for Dr. Butensky, Dr. Procopio and the excellent staff, and she looks forward to what the future holds for Dental Studios!

Fabiana graduated from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been in the dental field for 26 years, first working as a dental assistant prior to pursuing her dental hygiene degree. Fabiana grew up in Livingston, New Jersey, and is a graduate of the Livingston High School.

Fabiana loves having the opportunity to interact with her patients and takes pride in being thorough and gentle with her cleanings. Fabiana is dedicated to providing a healthy smile to every one of her patients.

Lisa was born in Bronx, NY and raised in Rockland County, NY. She graduated from Bergen Community College in their Dental Hygiene Program and has been a Hygienist for 30 years. She has remained dedicated to her work due to her passion for the field.

Anne has been practicing as a dental assistant at this location for 28 years and she says, she has been proud to be a part of the evolution that has created this now state of the art practice, Dental Studios.

Anne was born in Dodge City, Kansas and was raised in Italy by her father who was a professor of Philosophy, and her mother who nurtured six children. She has been a part of the dental field since 1990. Anne completed her studies at the Dental Studies Institute in Fairfield, NJ where she became a Certified Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Assistant.

Anne is a compassionate and caring professional who continues to further her education by attending dental continuing education courses annually. And she says ALL aspects of her life is guided by the Golden Rule.

Crystal Mandall graduated top of her class from Central Career school having completed an accelerated course for Certified Dental Assisting in 2007. She has been a member of Dental Studios for 6 years and has been in the field for over 10 years. Crystal takes pride in going above and beyond for patients in all areas of their dental care.

Crystal was born and raised in New Jersey and in her spare time she likes to snowboard, enjoys kickboxing, painting and spending time with her 4 nieces and 3 nephews. She is an avid reader and movie buff and also enjoys photography.

Cassy has been working in the dental field since 2014. She graduated from the Fortis Institute in 2015 as a certified dental assistant. She enjoys watching movies and taking pictures. Fall is her favorite season. Cassy has two dogs, a Blue nose pit bull and a Labrador/pit bull mix. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
