Dr. Koeppen began his dental career at the Indiana University Dental School where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS). He has extensive experience in preventive dental care for pediatric patients and has even donated his time, providing comprehensive care and preventive oral health education for underprivileged children in Chicago.
Now living in Texas and enjoying the small-town feel of Buda, Dr. Koeppen provides care to men, women, and children. Using innovative technologies, his office offers digital X-rays and sedation services for those who need them.
Born and raised in the small town of Seguin, Texas. I began my life in dentistry 25 years ago in 1992. During this time, I have been able to envision and implement various policies and procedures to help offices run more efficiently by increasing staff productivity. For 21 years, I had the pleasure of gaining extensive knowledge in billing, collections, and insurance to assist my patients. I look forward to meeting you in our office and continuing to do what I love to do.
I was born and raised in Austin, TX. While growing up, I always wanted to help others and this is what led me into the field of Dentistry. I graduated from Allied Health Careers in 2006 as a Dental Assistant and have worked in the dental field ever since and I absolutely love it! I have worked with Dr. Koeppen since 2013. Outside the office, I love spending time with my family and friends, hanging out, going to the beach, camping, football games, and baseball games.
I graduated from Western Illinois University in 1999 and Dental Hygiene School in 2006. I spent 8 years in a Chicago suburb before moving to Texas in 2014 to escape the cold winters! I LOVE Texas! I got married in August 2019 and we are the proud parents to our 4 furbabies 2 dachshund mixes, a chihuahua, and a pomeranian. For hobbies, I foster dogs with Diamond Dachshund Rescue and run 5ks on the weekend. I look forward to meeting you and serving your hygiene needs!

Our entire family are patients of Dr. Koeppen and his team, for our dental cleaning and care. We are very pleased with the services and expertise the Dental Studio provides. Even though we hadnt been to a dentist in some years, we felt encouraged to get back on track, taking better care of our teeth with the up-to-date technology and new info weve learned. Our dental insurance is no longer a mystery: Dr. Koeppens experienced staff can print out details that show us what processes are needed, and what our cost will be. The Dental Studio has allowed us to be flexible in schedule, as our child doesnt want to miss any classes, and the office is in Buda by the HEBa most convenient location!
Dr. Keoppen and his team are incredible! They make you feel comfortable and treat you like family. Theyre professional and friendly which helps make your visit less stressful, because lets face it, dentist offices arent always where you feel at ease. Here, however, you will.
Ive been taking my family to Dental Studio since we moved to Buda and couldnt be happier with the whole professional team! Dr. Keoppen is the best at what he does not to mention hes friendly and genuinely caring. The whole team is, for that matter! Im very thankful to have found them and trust that they will always take care of our dental needs in a professional and incredibly friendly manner.

I have extremely sensitive tooth nerves and gums. Been a lifetime problem. Shots to numb are very painful. Had 4 shots today. Never felt any of them. At all. A first for me. Whole proceedure was pain free. Great place!!

Horrible experience as a new patient after making an appointment for a simple cleaning (note: they also require an exam if you're getting a cleaning). Where do I even begin?! Back office is incredibly disorganized -- they got my appointment time wrong (the time in the confirmation email I received upon scheduling was a half hour different that the time they stated in the reminder phone call a few days before the appointment). Whoever booked my appointment entered my last name in the system as "Studio" (which is the second word in the business name, nowhere close to my last name). I was asked multiple times to manually complete new patient paperwork, each time having to remind them that I had completed my forms online, as the appointment confirmation email requested I do. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment; they took a *ton* of x-rays, then put me in a room to wait for the dentist. 40 minutes later the dentist comes in, does a brief exam, says everything looks fine, and then tells me that unfortunately both hygienists are busy with other people and so I'll either need to reschedule the cleaning for another day OR the dentist can do the cleaning himself. No thanks, and no thanks. I booked the appointment to get my teeth cleaned, and there was no hygienist available?! The dentist was nice, and I appreciate his offer to do my cleaning, but after wasting nearly 2 hours out of my day I opted to cut my losses and leave. Now back at square one, looking for another dentist who runs a professional operation and actually honors appointments as scheduled.
