Dr. Fouad Al Malki has been practicing dentistry over 19 years with the last 10 years focused on endodontics. He is caring and personable, creating rapport with his patients, explaining procedures in terms his patients are able to easily understand. With a calming manner and compassion for his patients concerns, he performs highly skilled endodontic treatments, including root canal treatment and re-treatments under the microscope, micro-endodontic surgery, vital pulp and regenerative therapies.
A decorated officer, Dr. Lee has frequently held positions as the head of oral surgery for the U.S. Navy. He also served as the regional dental officer for Navy Medicine East, overseeing dental operations for the east coast and Europe.
Dr. Yeung graduated from Smith College, living and working in the biotechnology industry for six years prior to pursuing dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors. She was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, which is the highest level of achievement that dental students strive for. Dr. Yeung furthered her training with a General Practice Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where she gained great experience working with medically compromised patients.
Dr. Malki earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Damascus in Syria and continued his education by pursuing endodontics at the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) Department of Endodontics in Philadelphia, PA. While at UPENN, Dr. Malki won the Grossman Award for outstanding proficiency in the endodontic graduate program and was a co-author of the Microsurgery in Endodontics text book.
When hes not saving teeth, Dr. Malki enjoys spending family time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys playing and listening to classic, Spanish guitar and classic rock music, and learning about the latest technology trends.
Dr. Colella was born and raised in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Colella earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Alfred University and his D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark. He earned his M.D. from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. After completing his general practice residency at National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD Dr. Colella completed residency for oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth.
Dr. Colella is board certified by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Virginia Society of Oral & Facial Surgeons. Its obvious that Dr. Colella loves and enjoys his work. He loves challenging cases and the ability to help others.

Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience with Dr. Yeung here. My wife had a root canal and a process of temporary fillings performed to whiten the tooth. For whatever reason, the temporary filling fell out repeatedly, often times it was later on the same day that the filling was placed. This resulted in multiple extra visits. During the extra appointments Dr. Yeung would not answer questions, appeared frustrated, was very short and at times plain rude and unprofessional. We had trouble being seen at times for the extra visits and are fortunate to have really great dentists at Konikoff who continually fit us in and took great care of us. I personally experienced everything my wife was seeing in person, when on one occasion I talked to the doctor while trying to get an appointment scheduled. I've never experienced anything like that call in a medical setting before. I was told how my wife was purposefully making the filling fall out, that this was her fault, and that she could not be seen for any additional appointments for at least a month. It was a surreal experience. We had already paid for the full procedure and were bound to the endodontist to see this to completion. The whole process became one of anxiety and stress. The root canal, itself, seems to have been performed well. But our experience as a whole was terrible. We will seek other dental surgeons in the future.

As a single guy in ny 40's it can be difficult if not impossible to find someone to accompany you to a medical appointment. The folks here went out of their way to insure I was well cared for. They have earned not only my buisness but also my respect.

Dr Lee is an outstanding dentist. I had no pain and he followed up with a telephone call to check and make sure everything was okay. Not a nurse to call,he called himself what a great doctor.

Dr Lee would take time to answer your inquiries. You will not feel rushed and will actually leave the office much confident than you came in specially if this is your first oral surgery. I highly recommend him.

I am giving you 0000/zeros because you guys have a very rude stuff over there I'm saying like a rude is I never seen in my life sneezing over all loud in the office and halfway sick and coming giving an attitude for customer telling me that I didn't study my homework I got my student terrible experience only thing I did ask two questions lady was so rude that telling me that I should have watched the video and I should have read the paper because I asked her it will be pain after work because we were going to have a four teeth treatment.. I respond was they give me paper 3 months ago when I have set up the appointment

From the dental assistant to the oral surgeon , my experience was great! and I have had some bad experiences in the past ,from other practices and this was by far the best. I really like that the surgeon called me personally to check on me hours after my procedure. Two extractions , went extremely well. I hope, I never have to have any more extractions in the future but if so ,they will be my choice once again.

My Dr. Jesse Lee and hygienist was excellent. He put me at ease on my first consult he would be able to do my single tooth extraction without surgery. We choose just numbing up my gumb around the fractured tooth and than letting him extract verses actual putting me to sleep with medication. He did notice I was a bit nervous about this after my primary dentist was unsuccessful trying to get my gums fully numbed around the tooth to extract it. But Jesse Lee Dental Surgeon had that tooth out it seemed like two minutes once my gums were very numb. I did not even know it was out till he said tooth out! I was called in a sedative to take when I left home and another one when I arrived in office before my appointment. So I would feel very calm. It worked. Thank you Dr. lee and all his staff that took good care of me. Also how many doctor's/surgeon's do you know that calls and checks on you personally.? Well Doctor Jesse did. Meant everything to me.

Doctor Yeung made a great effort to ensure I did not feel any pain during the root canal, the entire experience was quick and painless, with the exception of the initial injection. As she said "it took longer to get me numb than to do the root canal", and she was right.

Today I had 4 teeth pulled and a partial put in by Dr Jesse Lee. After having a very negative experience about 5 years ago with another dentist I was very afraid of dentist for a long time. Recently had procedure here. Dr. Lee and his staff are fabulous. They were professional, kind and considerate. Not once did I feel pain nor anxiety. Dr. Lee even called me that evening (although I was still out of it, hahaha) to check on me. Professionalism with Caring. Definitely HIGHLY recommend them for any type of Oral surgery!
