Dean N. Ahmad, DDS, FICOI, DABPwas born in Birmingham, England (UK)and was raised in Miami, Florida. Dr. Ahmad received both his graduate certificate in Periodontics and his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan. Dr. Benjamin Levi is a native of Southern California, he first graduated from New York University School of Dentistry in 2004. From there he attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine for a post graduate degree in a hospital based residency. After that he went back to New York University and attended Dr. Ignatius and Sally Quartararo Department of Endodontics where he received his post graduate degree in Endodontics in 2005. Dr. Benjamin Levi has been practicing endodontics over 10 years and is a member of the American Board of Endodontics, and Board Eligible. Dr. Benjamin Levi grew up in Southern California and attended University of California Irvine for his undergraduate studies.
During that time, Dr. Levi was also a Deputy Sheriff with the Orange County Sheriff Department and then an officer with the Huntington Beach Police Department. Dr. Levi likes to help the community as well as all the patients that come to see him in his private practice. Dr. Benjamin Levi and his wife Charlene have 2 beautiful little youngsters that take up much of their time. During the time he is not working, Dr. Levi enjoys jet skiing, horseback riding, target shooting, cooking, photography, and volunteering in the community as well.
Dr. Gloria J. Nollie DDS, MCID received her dental degree from UCLA in 1975. She also received her undergraduate degree from UCLA in Zoology. She practiced general dentistry for 15 years in Los Angeles and was clinical instructor in operative dentistry at UCLA. She was a member of the California Dental Board of examiners for years. She received her Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontic at the University of Western Ontario, Canada in 1992. After graduating she became Associate professor of orthodontics at the University of Western Ontario.
At that time she published multiple papers and received research awards. After returning to United States, she opened her private practice and worked in other practices doing clinical orthodontics. She has been a dentist with varied experiences for over 41 years. She is married and a grandmother of 15. Her hobbies are fishing, gardening, boating and cooking. She loves children and feels that they keep her young.
Dr. Richard Moorhouse is an oral surgeon with 23 years experience in private practice. He believes in providing a patient with the best information about the surgical options available to them. This includes the potential benefits, risks and alternatives to surgery. He is a very easy going individual that is a person first and a doctor second. Dr. M is very approachable and willing to work with patients to meet their needs. Dr. Moorhouse has been practicing dentistry since 1982. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and child, flying, and playing golf.

I went in for a root canal after finding out they accept my employer's insurance. I did not expect to pay so much given that I had insurance. I would recommend not being shocked when you pay almost twice as much out of pocket after insurance coverage. Insurance: $800/Out of Pocket: $1400 The crown was made elsewhere. After receiving the bill, I called to ask for an itemized statement. I was also complaining that if I had forewarning of the charges before traveling home (I travel for work, so am not home often) I would have canceled. The receptionist then let me know that they would rather take a long lunch than see a patient anyway, so that wouldn't have been a problem. Oy. Ok. Also, they never sent that itemized statement. If you're considering this facility, I would strongly suggest you save a lot of money, and let these folks take a longer lunch.

I do not recommend DDS Levi for any work whatsoever!! He was very unprofessional when it cam to giving me my Novocain shot. He did not take his time, he just shoved it in the back of my jaw and kept going when I was screaming. He didn't back off at all. He told me not to scream and didn't try to comfort me. This is the first time in my 53 years that I have screamed and bawled from getting a Novocain shot. So if you are especially afraid of needles or have any pain issues stay away from DDS Levi!!

I had to have a very difficult root canal but due to the excellent X-rays by Natalie the doctor was able to perform this procedure in a rapid manner ( which was greatly appreciated). The front desk people are also amazing and very patient. The professionalism of the whole office was greatly appreciated.

Everything was fully explained and ALL of my questions were addressed. I was treated with the upmost respect and I very much appreciate the professionalism of this office.

Best team! Dr. Ahmad, Stacy and all the staff answered all my questions, treated me like family. They did my Dad's oral surgery also. They treated both of us so well, we couldn't have been treated better. We both would highly recommend Dental Specialist of Roseville to everyone!
