    Let me tell you about Dr. Mustafa and how he openly admits to mistreating his employees. TL;DR: My mom was looking for Dental Specialists of Pines and landed here instead. She told the Receptionist and Dental Assistant that she was there for an appointment that she made with the periodontist. After an hour of asking, Dr. Mustafa finally came in to see my mother and told her there was no periodontist but the receptionist had to keep her there anyway because the receptionist would be in trouble otherwise. This is Dental Specialists of *Pembroke Pines Group* If you're looking for Dental Specialists of Pines, you want to be at 185th and Pines. My mother and younger sibling had an appointment for 12pm at the Dental Specialists of Pines for a consultation with Dr. Oliver, the periodontist. She was late for the appointment and made the unfortunate mistake of pressing the first option on Google Maps. So, she found herself at this place instead, Dental Specialists of *Pembroke* Pines *Group*. She went inside the establishment and she went to the receptionist, where she explained that she was there to see Dr. Oliver, the periodontist, for a consultation. The receptionist said that she was happy to help. She gave my mom the new patient information sheet and took my mom's insurance card. My filled out the paperwork, the receptionist charged the insurance and my mom and sibling waited. After some time, my mother went back to the receptionist and said they were only waiting for a consultation with Dr. Oliver, the periodontist. The receptionist said that the dentist was busy, but would see her shortly. My mother then told the receptionist that she was supposed to be at Dental Specialists of Pines and asked if she was in the right place. The receptionist assured her that she was. Finally, at around 1pm, they called my mother and sibling to the back. They sat my sibling down and the dental assistant came in. My mom started getting upset here. She told the dental assistant that she just wants to see Dr. Oliver, the Periodontist, and that there were only there for a consultation. The dental assistant has my mother wait some more. Dr. Mustafa, the dentist, came in. My mother said that she only wanted to see Dr. Oliver, the periodontist. Dr. Mustafa then told her that there is no periodontist there, he was a general dentist, and she was probably in the wrong place, but he'd be happy to help her anyway. Oh, my mom was upset. The only thing she asked was that if there was no Dr. Oliver, then WHY did the receptionist not tell her that from the start? Dr. Mustafa, with a straight face, told my mother that the receptionist could NOT let prospective patients leave the office, otherwise, Dr. Mustafa would yell at her. I'm sure it's actually worse, but at least he's smart enough not to admit as such. Anyway, my mother stormed out of the place. Now she's trying to get in touch with her insurance to make sure this place doesn't charge her. If you're supposed to be in Dental Specialists of Pines, that's on 185th and Pines but the receptionist is NOT going to tell you that because they are afraid of Dr. Mustafa. So, I told you the story. You can make your own decisions about whether or not to come here.

    DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A FAIR PRICE! I paid twice the average price for a partial X-ray and then was told that a tooth extraction would be $500. I asked why so much and the staff attempted to convince me that because of the type of gauze they use in the healing process, I would pay a premium price. I was also told this part of the process is mandatory with the procedure. Needless to say, I went to a competitor and paid way less for the extraction. Sad that you can't even trust the dentist these days!

    We loved this place!!! Ashley helped us 100 percent with my wife whowas pain! I love this place!! She is very professional and helpful with what ever we needed!!! Although it was an emergency after work hours!!!! Thank you all the staff!!!

    By far the worst customer service I've ever dealt with at a dental office. My initial visit was great. However, a few months later my insurance company asked me for an itemized receipt from my visit. So I decided to call the office and see if someone could email it to me. Every time I was told they were working on it or that their system was down. After two weeks of back and forth I called again and spoke to someone named frank. I explained to him my situation and before I could even finish what I was saying his response to me was that he "highly doubts It". I was extremely caught off guard by this and asked if he doubts that their system has been down or if he doubts what I'm saying and he clarified that he doubts that I've been asking for a receipt for two weeks and I haven't received it yet as if I am lying! Even if you think I over looked the email or that it may be in my junk mail that's not how you respond to a paying customer! Finally, I was able to speak to a manager who assured me I'd be receiving the email in 30 minutes or less but I did not. I called back after an hour and was told that the woman who was supposed to send it was at lunch so I requested for my husband to just pick it up. My husband gets there and is told they didn't send the receipt because I got into a dispute with someone and they were waiting on managerial approval to send it as if I've done something wrong. I've been extremely patient with you all. Waiting on the receipt wasn't even the biggest problem it's the fact that your staff, specifically frank, had such a nasty attitude about it and then you decided not to send my receipt because I had a "dispute?" The issue is on your part not mine. I will definitely not be coming back and will encourage others to stay clear as well.

    Horrible experience. Not only did they over charge they did not clean my Fiance teeth correctly. He had to go see another dentist because of their horrible job. His teeth were hurting after being serviced and also causing him to have a headache. The new dentist at another location had to go over the work and re do what was done because they left decay and didn't clean out the cavity correctly. Do not go here. They only care about taking your money. Nothing else.

    Good dental care at a fair price. I called them with severe tooth pain. Turns out I was infected and tooth needed to come out. While it was painful, it was handled in two parts for my comfort. Staff was kind and caring. I will be back when I need dental help again. Keep up the good work!
