Dr. Olguin completed his dental training at the University of Michigan. Following dental school, Dr. Olguin completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Illinois/University of Chicago Hospitals and periodontics residency at the University of Michigan. In addition to receiving a certificate in Periodontics, he earned his Masters of Science in Oral Health Sciences during his residency. To stay abreast the latest innovations, technologies and techniques in periodontics, oral and implant surgery, Dr. Olguin continuously attends advanced education courses, symposiums and various dental specialty conferences. Dr Olguin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and former Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Midwest Society of Periodontology, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He holds licenses in the States of Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.
As a dental specialist, Dr. Olguin takes great pride in providing his patients with the utmost in quality care in all aspects of periodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. To manage fears and any anxiety associated with surgical therapy, the office seamlessly performs intravenous sedation to facilitate treatment. He understands the imporance of excellent oral health and strives to help his patients re-establish health, form and function. Dr. Jamal Flowers, an endodontist, who recently practiced in New York, is currently practicing in downtown Chicago. Born in Michigan, Dr. Flowers was raised in Indiana, where his interest in dentistry began as a middle school student. His educational experiences have traversed a wide variety of geographical regions. Completing his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College, earning a bachelor of arts in psychology; Dr. Flowers continued his educational studies at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. While attending dental school, he became involved in student leadership roles along with dental research and various community services endeavors. After dental school, he completed a one-year general practice residency at Harlem Hospital in New York City to expand his knowledge in the dental field. While attending his residency, Dr. Flowers successfully completed training in Emergency Medicine, Oral Surgery, Plastic surgery, Anesthesiology and Internal Medicine as well as General Hospital Based Dentistry. After completing his residency, Dr. Flowers continued his studies at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, obtaining a certificate in endodontics. Dr. Flowers is truly excited to continue his career in Chicago, and looks forward to providing quality patient care.
Dr. Ashutosh Kaushik comes from Delhi, India and earned his Bachelor of Dental Science degree from the Government Dental College, India. After completing his dental school in India, Dr. Kaushik moved to Chicago and continued his studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where he earned is Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. While attending UIC, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. After dental school, he completed a one-year general practice residency program at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He worked as a general dentist in Chicago for a year and returned to UIC to earn his Certificate in Endodontics.
Dr. Kaushik moved to Chicago for dental school and fell in love with the city. He met his wife in Chicago, which is why it holds a special place in his heart. Both he and his wife love travelling and are food enthusiasts. They enjoy the various cuisines the city has to offer. In his spare time he also enjoys volleyball, swimming, watching movies and has recently started a new hobby in photography.
Dr. Graves is an international lecturer and a published author of numerous research papers in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implantology. Dr. Graves completed her Periodontics residency program at the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, where she received her Certificate in Periodontics and Master of Science in Oral Biology degree. During her training, she was a recipient of the Bettye M. Whiteaker Scholarship. Dr. Graves completed her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree (DDS) and a Master in Periodontics degree in Peru. She is licensed to practice dentistry in Illinois and Texas, and also holds a Periodontics Specialist license in Illinois.
As a dental specialist with a strong clinical, academic and research background in the field of Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery, she treats her patients using the ultimate techniques and employs the latest biomaterials to treat the most complex cases in a minimally invasive way. She uses new technologies to save even the most severely affected teeth. Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!!! As a healthcare professional myself, I am perhaps more critical than most in my expectations of clinical skills, communication, and office team interactions with each other and patients. This team is beyond EXCEPTIONAL. Dr. Flowers made this the easiest root canal experience ever (I've had several), and the office is very Zen-like- subdued lighting, low soothing music, speaking in hushed tones, with the latest equipment (microscope and other instruments to perform the treatment). I will not go anywhere else.

I was so impressed with the number of 5* reviews on all appropriate websites that I knew I needed to book my consult with this doctor for 3 major procedures. I contacted the office twice in two days with no response, once electronically once by leaving a voicemail. Their hours were listed on google as "open". I called again on day 3 and encountered a very rude and demanding receptionist who needed to know, besides the usual information (name/insurance/reason for the visit), exactly which teeth were in question, what exact procedures were needed, and whether I could explain all of that to her over the phone. I. Am. Not. A. Dentist. I don't know how to count my teeth the "right" way to tell her which tooth needs a root canal and which one needs an implant. I know which ones they are: there is one tooth missing and an implant needs to go there! I can show it to the doctor when I get to the chair! But that was not good enough, she demanded I tell her over the phone or else "m'aaam, I can't schedule this for you". I even offered to email my ex-rays to the doctor (I have 2 types of x-rays on hand), but that was just not good enough. I found this to be very rude and obnoxious. I would've happily explained all 3 issues to the doctor when I came to the consultation. No need to interrogate me before hand especially since I am clearly unable to answer you in medical terms. One star for bad service. Wish it was different. Not going there.

Very modern and beautiful office. Staff is nice and helpful. Dr. Flowers is kind, gentle, and responsive. What more could you ask for?

I had a root canal treatment done here. Dr Flowers was great. Walked me through the whole process before the treatment, I knew exactly what to expect. At the end they took an X-ray and showed me the result. The staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to everyone looking for a good endodontist in northern suburbs. Also, the office is very clean.
