Dr. Koticha is an experienced periodontist (gum and bone tissue specialist). He is board-certified in periodontics and dental implants, and is able to provide the full scope of treatment for gum disease, gum recession, bone grafting and dental implant placement. He is also certified to provide the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique.
In addition to providing top-quality patient care at Dental Specialists of Edmond, Dr. Koticha is highly involved in academia. He has served as the Director of the Graduate Periodontics specialty training program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and continues to serve as a site visitor for the Commission for Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association in the specialty of Periodontics.
He is also an Editorial Contributor for the Clinical Dentistry Channel at Practice Update, an educational resource for dental and medical professionals. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and received numerous awards, including the Ben Duff Fellowship Award (2012), the Richard J. Lazzara Fellowship in Advanced Implant Surgery (201415) and the Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence (2014).
Dr. Koticha is a member of many prestigious dental organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology, Southwest Society of Periodontology, American Dental Association and Oklahoma Dental Association.
Dr. Al Sakka is a prosthodontist, a specialist in aesthetic tooth restoration and tooth replacement. He is passionate about art and science and uses both to improve the quality of life for patients with missing or deficient teeth. He uses the latest digital technology, combined with modern dental ceramics/materials, to create beautiful and natural-looking new teeth and smiles for his patients.

Dr Al Sakka started my new dentures while working at the Moore gentle dental location. He NEVER!!!!!!!! finished. Just left me trying to find another dentist that would complete what he (Dr Al Sakka) had started with only three more treatments needed. This all started in April '22, it is now the end of Sept and still waiting to get new dentures completed by new dentist.

Highly recommend! I had two implants, and bone and tissue grafts. Had some tenderness but no pain. Dr. Koticha and his staff are caring and compassionate and made sure I was comfortable for the entire procedure . State of the art equipment in a beautiful office.

Clearly they also can't read when replying to a review and still come off rude hence the reply to this review: I said Me & a family member of mine was waiting forever in the waiting room I was with my family member THEY were getting work done here NOT ME! what's that have to do with a review saying I'm not a patient clearly I'm not I was with my family member seeing them go through the experience there, the wait times are long and ridiculous here. Not to mention the unprofessional smirky staff, some woman was rushing me off dismissively when I had a question about filling out paperwork. I will not be coming back again. They were quoting insane prices, you can find another nicer place for less the price.

I really don't know where to even start or begin how amazing these doctors are. They have built my confidence up so much. They didn't only give me a gorgeous smile but they also worked around my work schedule so many times! I was always treated like I was family when I walked in. The staff was always welcoming and very respectful. I would recommend anyone here and feel confident in doing so!!

I am overwhelmingly pleased with Dental Specialists of Edmond! I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to anyone who may need their services! From the kindness that embodies Dr Koticha & his staff to the convenience of being able to text his staff with concerns, every person I have interacted with has been the upmost professional and sincere. I was very apprehensive about going in for a much needed oral procedure. The very 1st contact I had was scheduling my appointment, Geena was very kind and understanding with my situation. I had some family emergencies come up & she helped me thru rescheduling my appointments via text which was extremely helpful. All of the ladies that helped me with my appointments are wonderful! Such professionalism as well as genuine concern for your comfort / healing is hard to come by on a consistent basis. After my procedure they checked in on me to see how I was feeling & were prompt to address my concerns. Massive shoutout to the staff @ Dental Specialists of Edmond!

I had one tooth pulled, bone grafting and an implant post surgically placed in my gums. I had no pain. No pain!!Absolutely incredible. I've had about 12 dentists in the last 30 years. There is no one that compares to Dr. Koticha. If anyone reads this please don't go anywhere else. Everybody that works there is so kind. I didn't know a place like this really existed until i came here.

My first visit with Dr Kutich for a consultation. What an amazing experience! From my first encounter over the phone with his office staff to my exam, everyone was so friendly and engaging. Dr Kotich was very thorough in explaining my treatment options and took a great deal of time to make sure all my questions were answered. I was never made to.feel rushed and he truly seemed interested in helping me achieve my best dental outcomes. The entire staff was all about making me feel relaxed and important...so engaging and I felt like they all truly appreciated and valued me as a patient. It was terrible weather and they even called to make sure we were safe en route. They truly mean it when they say welcome to the family because that's how they made me feel!
